Our trip to Europe in January 2024, after eating French food for a few days, we got tired of Escargots and Duck with wine sauce, we decided to go to District 13, where all the Vietnamese restaurants reside.
From Yelp we found Pho13 with the reasonable prices and good reviews so we took Uber from our hotel near Eiffel Tower to district 13.
The restaurant is well decorated with neon lights. It's on the second floor of a shopping center. The servers were extremely polite and attentive, we talked in Vietnamese which was nice. The servers here are quite friendly and open. The service was fast.
We were amazed that the food here was so good, as good as in CA or better.
The Egg rolls with rice paper were crispy and tasty like my mom would make them. My daughter loved them.
My daughter ordered Bun Bo Hue and it was great, the broth is made just like at home but better, even the noodles and vegetables.
My wife ordered Pho which she liked very much, as delicious as we cooked at home and we cooked extremely well LOL.
And me, I ordered the bo luc lac (shaken beef) which extremely tasty and tender, better than many restaurants in CA. My daughter loves beef especially bo luc lac and salt, pepper, lemon dip. She practically ate most of my beef cubes LOL.
They also have the baguettes with cold meats for us to take home for the next morning, we liked them, very good with lots of meat.
It was nice to find a place like this, although we would come back here the next day for dinner, but we needed to try other restaurants around the area. Next time if we come to Paris, we will definitely visit this restaurant again. One thing about Restaurants in France is that TIP is not required, unlike CA. read more
