The pho broth didn't smell right to me as there was a hint of some sort of detergent (floral, which is not how it should be). It tastes alright, not outstanding or good enough to be memorable. You can probably get equally decent or better ph if you can drive a little further, but the portion will be smaller than what they have here. Spring rolls aren't supposed to be almost the size of a banana since it'll be too big to fry and the wrap is slightly burned, but you do you. Summer rolls are just sloppily made with lots of noodles, boiled pork, some shrimps and lettuce. Lettuce isn't even supposed to be in summer rolls tbh, but you do you. I don't think I'll trust a restaurant that serve instant viet coffee to customers instead of making actual viet coffee. Maybe someone forgot to brew a new pot or they ran out of condense milk, but hey you do you. Overall the food here isn't awful, it's just different under the new management. read more

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I'm pretty picky with my pho but they do it well! The pork rolls to start are delicious - lots of flavor, not over cooked. I just had basic pho with white meat chicken, boyfriend had the eye round and brisket. Both were so tasty. What's so great about this place is the three sauces they give every table - lemongrass, sate and crushed chili. Yum yum yum! I love sate but had never added lemongrass to pho before and now I'm hooked. I had the bun bo hue. I would say it was about average. It wasn't spicy enough. It didn't have the strong aroma of lemongrass that I expect. The selections of meat in the soup did not meet my expectations and there was no pig's knuckle. However, what gave them the extra star was the staff. They were incredibly attentive, and one of the staff members came by and advised me that I should add from the jars of spicy sauce and lemongrass to make the bun bo hue more flavorful. Pho 75 is still the best buuttttttt...... Good quality and generous portion of the meats in the Beef Pho. Depending on who you encounter, the waiters could be nice/rude. The owner on the other hand is very nice. She usually stops by (if she is there) and ask us if we enjoyed our food. She even mixed this dipping sauce for us! I like the vermicelli bowl. The meats are flavorful and very fresh. However, it does not come with 1 spring roll so you have to order that separately. The hubby and I sometimes do carry out from the place and its always well packed and ready for pick-up when we arrive to the restaurant. read more

I was disappointed. I got he #13 pho and while the taste of the broth was fine, the meat used was so riddled with gristle that I couldn't eat it. I had to spit out all but one piece of the brisket. I've eaten a lot of pho and never had that happen. If you have a similar reaction to gristly meat, maybe try the chicken. Another weird thing...the basis they brought out was not fresh, which again is strange since this is very consistent everywhere I go. Instead, the basil here was half black and half green, meaning it has aged. The spring roll was good, the veggie summer role was sub-par. I don't think I'll be back. read more

If I could give them no stars or even negative stars I would. Best pho in in nova 2016......it must have been a popularity contest because it's far from the best. I visited this past weekend with some friends and we were not impressed. The wings were soggy and left a bad after taste in our mouths. Everyone agreed the pho was hands down the most disappointing meal we've all had on awhile. All you could taste was star anise. There was no depth to the broth. Spectacular Pho - plus all the goodies Pho 102 delivered everything we want in a Pho restaurant and then some. The rest of my family stuck to the usual and were not disappointed - flavorful broth, tasty meat, good noodles. But I tried (for the first time) Pho Hue - the central Vietnamese variant with lemongrass beef, spicy broth, and thick noodles - and was very pleasantly surprised. The beef was staggeringly delicious and the spiced broth was perfect. My only complaint was that in a noodle of that thickness I expect the inside to still have a bit of 'tooth' to it (al dente). I don't know if that is a cross-cultural disappointment or if the noodles really were overcooked. We had the summer rolls which were yummy (not the best we've ever had...but very, very good). And they offer all the drinks we like and which are sometimes lacking - young coconut, lemonade, iced tea, and Vietnamese coffee. All were delicious. We have been coming for long times. They have just lost a loyal customer. Family of 4 went to there to dine today. We ordered out usual 4 chicken pho three mix Chicken and white meat only. I have a pho place that I go out of my way weekly to visit in Herndon. I was excited to lean there was a place significantly closer to me and that had a kid's bowl, as my 3 year old son has been my constant pho buddy since before he was born. I like the variety on the menu, as opposed to a pure pho restaurant. I'm not overly fond of pork in my summer rolls, but tried it on my first visit. I misordered my rolls on the second visit and got veggie spring rolls, which I ended up liking a lot. On my third visit, I got summer rolls without pork and still found them a bit dry, despite the sauce. The pho itself, I enjoy it. I always get the thin-sliced steak (18) and everything tastes great. My son loves meatballs, so that's what I get in his kid's bowl. The meatballs are nice and tender as well as tasty. I will say that's one thing this place has over my favorite. The meatballs at my usual place taste fine, but have a funky odor. The ones here smell fine and taste pretty good. I'll actually eat what my son doesn't if I have room. I feel like the normal bowl is a little small, but that's okay for me, since I'll get an appetizer. I guess the long and short of it is that this place is good, but doesn't measure up to my favorite. I've seen and heard a lot of complaints about the carry out policy here. I personally would NOT order carry out here unless I was sick and asking my husband to pick up. Limiting your carry out customers to ONE size *AND* charging $2.50 is just crappy. Many businesses in this area do a bang up business on carry out, so I don't understand this BS. If you can, take the time to eat in. The staff is friendly and the place is nice. The parking isn't great, so I wouldn't come during lunch, though. read more

When I find out they charged twice from my credit card, I called to restaurant later complained for that. But the store manager didn't friendly help me to solve that problems. Third time here and the third time of crappy service and overpriced cold food. A gf and I came in for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 7, it was pretty busy which is always a good sign. Service was just plain awful, there were two younger men and the chef that evening running food. Each time I've come here I've tried something different and this time I simply asked how the dish (52, I believe) was served and one of the young servers said "why? you want it or not?" ...ok....Sure! I'll take it. Our meals come out- mine was nothing like what I expected but I was like, try new things, enjoy it..wrong. My meat was cold, bland, laid out on a bed of straight up wilted lettuce and butter sauce.
