I swear by this stuff! I wasn't a believer until I tried it. I've first been exposed to Phiten at the Honolulu Marathon back in 2004. I had a really bad ankle injury then and they taped me up with their titanium tapes and discs the day before. It helped alleviate some pain, but not all of it. Few years passes and I get and still have pain in my neck area. I bought one of those titanium necklaces from one of their authorized stores. After putting it on, my neck immediately felt a bit more soothing and more movable. This year, at the marathon and like all of the other LA marathons I've been to, Phiten was there again! Of course, I got a few strips put on my neck/back area and they offered marathoners freebies if you come out to their store. So of course, I did and not only was I able to get some titanium strips and lotion for free, for finishing the marathon I also got a water bottle and some higher end strips and discs too! The people who work here are friendly. They will show you what you need without the pressure (no pun intended) of selling you the item. They also showed me the water test which you try to lift 2 x 1.5 liters of water with your pinkie and how it was a bit easier with the titanium band just resting on your wrist. I felt a difference! Sale person also informed me that X100 line is coming this Winter. If you looking at review here . . . then the Store is well ran and has almost everything Phiten. For a retail store price is what is expected. With a little research you can find wholesalers and buy lots of 10 for the same price you pay for 1 at this store. I believe in Phiten. If you suffer from any type of aches or pain, this is the store for you. All of the products that they sell are absolutely amazing. They make a lotion which instantly works in seconds. You simply rub the lotion on your body where ever you may have pain, in seconds the pain will go away. It obviously doesn't make the pain go away forever, but at least you can continue on with your day without having to think only about how miserable you are feeling. It's like magic!!! What sold me on their products was a test I performed inside their store. In a standing position, they asked me to pick up a one liter water bottle by only using my ring finger and thumb while keeping my elbow touching the side of my body. There was no way in the world that I could because the bottle of water was simply too heavy. So they placed one of their shirts that they make over my entire shoulder and arm and asked me to pick up the water bottle again using the same method I'd tried just seconds prior. I lifted it with ease and multiple times without a struggle what so ever. I was absolutely shocked and really couldn't believe it at the time it was happening. Neatly lined in a drawer, sitting pretty. Titanium bead ring (for finger): Again, just neat to wear for while. A friend bought one but got a small rash, I didn't experience any though. My father's been a Phiten fan for several years now and I have been converted. Since my sciatica episode 2 years ago, I get low and mid back pains as well as shoulder and neck pains. Whenever it gets bad, I stick on the Phiten patches, which are like Salonpa patches, but with absolutely no smell, and my pain goes away the next day. It's really amazing how well the patches work. I've tried other tapes like Kinesio, but they don't work for me, so I only use Phiten now. The Phiten patches are about $13 for 15 precut patches, so they are a bit pricey, but oh so worth it for me. If you go in and tell them where it hurts, they will tape it up for you for free so you can try it and see how well it works. I even got a Lumbar support belt to wear around the house, which has their magical Phiten powers in it, and I feel much better when I have to leave the house. They also have supports for wrist, knee, and ankle for your various aches and pained body areas. My father has every single one and he's a walking Phiten ad. Watching MLB games, every other player has on the Phiten multi-colored necklaces, and they also now have MLB team discs too (I have the Dodgers!). I can't say if these products alleviate pain, but I can tell you that they are not quality. I purchased one of their "higher end" necklaces for nearly $200, and the chain broke twice! The first time they replaced it, the second time they said there was nothing they could do. They did offer to sell me an equally as expensive necklace for 20% off. Interestingly, one of the girls in the shop said she had the same necklace, that also broke, so she had the charm on another necklace. Clearly this chain was defective. read more

Love this place, discovered this titanium band product years ago at the local San Diego Nijiya, at least 10-12 years ago. The products haven't changed in quality, but have changed in design and materials. I totally swear by these products and often recommend them to my patients. I do so love the plastic/rubberized products, as they are water proof. The old products, were only fabric and would stay wet for quite some time. I wash my hands frequently and so need something other than fabric. The choices from Phiten are just mind boggling, and they keep coming out with more styles. They have gone upscale now, and have real metal/titanium products, which are very high priced. They also have expanded into other products as well, such as blankets, towels, soaps, pillow cases, and even bedding. And of course since, these products are marketed towards the athletes, they have a whole range of clothing for them. I purchased a necklace worth $200 a few days ago and the magnet that kept the necklace together was so loose that it dropped while I was walking and was completely lost. I was first exposed to the Phiten brand while researching Chi Running instructors in Southern California and came across Steve Mackel's website (he happens to be a brand ambassador for the company). I drove the 2 hours (in traffic) from Ventura County to the Torrance store because I wanted to see in person the merchandise and try out the products. Overall, I had a wonderful experience because of the superior customer service I received from Youngsun. I also observed the other associate's (Sesko) treatment of an elderly Japanese couple to be kind, gracious, and very respectful. Because there were no pushy sales tactics I felt at ease browsing the plethora of products they carry in the store, some of which are not even advertised on their website. They have great sales on discontinued items and a rewards program that will earn you double rewards (and free gifts!) during certain times of the year. I like the fact that Phiten is not just sports-centered (performance enhancing) but has other applications such as pain management, mood enhancement, and healthy lifestyle solutions, such was the case of the elderly couple looking for compression stockings. Youngsun is very knowledgeable about titanium therapy and helped to clarify my questions regarding the different concentrations of titanium in the products and gave helpful recommendations regarding appropriate products for my particular problem (knee pain). She took the time to demonstrate on me the proper method of applying the strips, tapes, and lotions so that I could feel confident to do it properly on myself. Part of my purchase included two beautiful titanium bracelets which she kindly adjusted to my small wrists. I can't say enough good things about this store and lifestyle brand.
