Great service and even better breakfast bagel sandwich!

Service was excellent and the breakfast bagel sandwich even better! My son really enjoyed the sandwich.

Another Queen City "in the cut" spot that is absolutely one of the best Mom and Pop operations I have visited in awhile. This spot has the feel of a cozy neighborhood diner with that feeling that everyone in the place knows each other - and everyone loves the food! This is only my 3rd visit but I can't seem to settle on a favorite menu item. I have ordered two or three sandwiches on every visit and they all have been on point! Special shout out to the Philly and the Brisket sandwich- I have ordered one or the other every visit. Save some room for desert because they are all homemade. Definitely one of my early faves as I continue to expand my footprint beyond the Southpark area.

Adorable family run business with a cozy ambiance, excellent service, and great classic deli/diner food. Great for breakfast or lunch.

This is the deli in the strawberry hero area. They have shared parking with several other stores and restaurants. It's a mom and pop shop and get affordable food that comes out rather quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They definitely have several regulars. They established staple for the community. The place is clean and the staff are friendly the decor is bland, but that isn't their focus. Hope you enjoy!

Great food but the prices have gone up and additional fees have been added on top of them. It makes lunch a bit too expensive.

The Pastrami sandwich on rye is a must try! Best in Charlotte. My friend got the Big Ale's special sandwich and was equally impressed. :-)

The food was wonderful but the male server was impaired. Don't know why or what he was on or doing. We were concerned for him. .

Really good food. You can tell they get a lot of regulars in here. Prices might be a little high for what you get but I'd still go back!

It's right on the way to my yoga studio, so it's perfect for a quick in-and-out lunch, but honestly, it's also the kind of place where you end up lingering longer than planned. My usual order is the ABLT on rye with Boar's Head applewood smoked bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Simple, fresh, and consistently delicious every single time. I almost always pair it with the Spinach Bacon salad loaded with spinach, cranberries, goat cheese, tomatoes, toasted pecans, and brown sugar peppered bacon. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. What makes Rhino special is that it's more than just a deli. It's part neighborhood market, part coffee shop, part beer and wine stop, and part community hangout. They've got local products, grab-and-go snacks, fresh sandwiches, beer on tap, wine, outdoor patio seating, and sometimes even live music. It reminds me of the small independent spots I used to love in the Bay Area around Burlingame, San Mateo, and Palo Alto. Relaxed, local, welcoming, and full of personality. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere feels genuinely Charlotte. Not overly polished. Not trying too hard. Just good food, good people, and a place that locals clearly love. And if you are visiting North Carolina, you absolutely have to try Cheerwine at least once. It's basically a Carolina rite of passage. Cherry soda lovers will probably be obsessed. Me personally? Not exactly my flavor profile, but people here drink it like water, so clearly they are onto something. Rhino Market is one of those places that makes a city feel like home. Life is too short to not eat well, Charlotte. Get out there.

You order at one window, grab an extra items, pay, then they'll call your name/number. Super easy. I ordered the Rhino Club described on the menu as: Boar's Head Branded Deluxe Ham, Lower Sodium Turkey, Applewood Smoked Bacon, provolone, bibb lettuce, tomato, dijon vin on choice of bread. The ordering and payment process was easy. I was solo so I took a seat at the bar area to eat. Sandwich looked good when I unwrapped it, large slices of toasted bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The strangest thing was, on the left side of the sandwich were several slices of deli turkey rolled up. On the right side of the sandwich were several slices of deli ham rolled up. I hadn't seen a sandwich made like that before. It felt like half of a turkey sandwich and half of a ham sandwich as opposed to a ham and turkey sandwich. Was it bad? Definitely not. I waffled between a 3 and a 4 star for this one but felt generous because, overall, I liked the vibe of the place.
