Good for a local spot. Great pricing. While I think the…read morebagels are good, sandwiches are great. They definitely add a good amount of toppings. I just find the setup for the bagels odd. They're using aluminum trays, which I'm assuming get reused bc they're all bent out of shape. So, for this reason(and one more below) I've given 3, instead of 4 stars. My kids do love the sandwiches, and an added bonus are the chips of your choice. Okay, so a while back, when they first opened up, I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Being on a health journey, I was looking forward to a delicious salad. Unfortunately, they did not knock it out of the park. The chicken is seasoned weird. I really couldn't put my finger on it, not sure if it's cumin or something else, but it had this weird flavor that I do not want at all on grilled chicken. I don't even think it's cumin, I'm really not sure: I haven't ordered a salad since, or a chicken sandwich, bc I couldn't accept that flavor in my mouth honestly, I'm being nice here BTW. To make it worse, there was a hair in my salad. If it wasn't for my family, I would've stopped getting food here. They convinced me to give them a try again. Glad I did, I may even consider trying the chicken again, but will be extremely disappointed if it tastes the same lol Either way, this is a good spot for bagels and sandwiches. Just hoping they will get some normal trays for bagels. It'll make the place look more clean, professional and overall aesthetically pleasing. The staff is super nice, really helpful, friendly, and informative.

1/2 Really liked…read morethis place! We got the large nacho fries with extra queso ($1 extra) and added jalapeños since they didn't have much else to make it spicy. The fries were hot and fresh, and the queso with jalapeños was a really good combo. We got a large and it was easily enough for two people. With all the queso and sour cream, it gets pretty heavy and filling, so it's perfect for sharing. They actually have a lot of vegetarian options, which makes this a great spot in the mall dining pavilion for vegetarians. They also have Canadian poutine on the menu, which I would LOVE to try because I'm a big poutine fan, but unfortunately their gravy is beef-based. I really wish they offered a vegetarian gravy option too! We'll definitely be back. Service was very quick. The Triple Cheese Fries looked so good on the menu board, so that's already on my list for next time!

This place is located in the food court of Menlo Park Mall and they specialize in fries and hot…read moredogs. I've been here twice now and my experience both times were drastically different. The first time was a bit of a mess. Orders were slow coming out, customers were confused on if their orders were ready because they didn't really call them out, and the fries we got were limp (pictured) and they didn't fill up the basket AND skimped on the toppings. They were also unsalted but they provided a communal salt shaker where the napkins, utensils, and ketchup were so that was interesting. We went again and this time, they were more efficient and did make an effort to call out your order. The fries also held up better and were even crispy on the exteriors even though there was a slight wait between my two items. I also felt like there was an adequate amount of toppings and fries. There was no communal salt shaker and the condiment/napkin area was a bit of a mess and running low on items, but it was fixed when I notified them so that's good. Both times, we ordered: LARGE FRIES: it's a basket of fries around $8. REGULAR VEGGIE FRIES: this is their medium container of fries topped with cheese sauce, sour cream, and diced tomatoes. They also come with green onions but I opted out of that. It's a good combination of flavors and fancier than just fries with a hint of "veggies". It's close to $10. Overall, a good place for us - we're allium free vegetarians - to get a savory snack in the mail. Service seems to be all over the place and no matter the quality, no one seems happy about their job, haha. The fries do cost a bit more than at your typical fast food joint, but they're open 7 days a week. One of my kids has multiple food allergies and the fries here are gluten free and fried in sunflower oil. We usually go to Chick-fil-A for fries but we seem to only go to the mall on Sundays so NY Fries got on our radar. He is allergic to wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and avocado (among other things) and he can have the fries here with no issues so we'll continue to support them.

The food as I say was finger licking good. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel and a steak burrito. I was blown away when the cashier told me the steak was a huge sirloin that they marinate and then baked for the sandwiches. It definitely showed because the steak was so juicy and tender, I only wish they would add a little more to the burrito. The burrito had a lot of caramelized onions and too much cheese but not enough meat. Outside of that I would definitely be back again.

(And that ATM machine at the corner? It looks like it'll not only steal your identity but your soul as well.) My last visit (2023-ish) I tried their 'combo' (one hot dog, one sausage) which was... okay. But when they're slinging a double Italian hot dog? They're firing on all cylinders. Tommy's is not shy to pile a wicked amount of grub into that pizza bread. The hot dogs kind of get lost under a mountain of deep-fried and oily (but delicious) sliced spuds. (I do wish they weren't so stingy with the peppers and onions to really balance out the meal.) The 'Holy Trinity' when it comes to Italian hot dogs in North Jersey is a no-brainer... Dickie Dee's, Jimmy Buff's and Tommy's. (For me - no one comes close to Dickie Dee's but my one kid said Tommy's was his [current] fave.) As for that couple that came cashless? A good Samaritan behind me pulled out a wad of cash (it's not wise to pull out a fistful of cash anywhere you go but it's ESPECIALLY not wise when you're in the rough and tumble streets of Elizabeth, let's be real) and after swapping Venmo information everything was a-okay.
