7" Philly with The Works Cheesesteak
    Eleanor R.

Walked in because I was hungry and haven't had a Philly cheesesteak since I was last in Philadelphia. Decided to give it a shot. The ambiance reminded me of the spots in Philly and they make your food fresh to order right in front of you. The waitress was so friendly and suggested what I order. Suggested the works with pepper jack cheese to add an extra kick and jalapeños (only suggest if you enjoy spicy foods). And I'm glad she did! This Philly was superb and hit the spot. Full of flavor and grilled to perfection! I felt like I had just ordered the real Philly as if I was back in Philadelphia. Thanks for the great experience, fast service and satisfaction for what I was craving! Highly recommend!

I hadn't had PC for over 15-years, so I was so excited to have it again. However, it was a lackluster experience, I'm sorry to say! The service was absolutely wonderful, but the food was subpar, though completely fresh, it didn't have as much flavor as I recalled! The restaurant was clean & maintained and there was a good amount of parking.

My experience was just ok. The food was average. I ordered the curly fries and they didn't take long, but I think the grease should have been changed. There is not much room for eating in.

I ordered a 6 piece wing hot with lemon pepper. The wings were huge and a little slimy on the inside. Do not go here for any wings they are named Philly connection for a reason.

i went in for lunch today because the line was too long at the place I wanted to patronize. I should have been more patient. They state extra lean steak. Whatever the ground up, gristle laden grey meat was on the bun, it bore no resemblance to thinly sliced steak. The menu describes The Works as including mushrooms. I didn't see any and showed the three people at the register. The cashier looked at the sandwich for a while and pointed out one mushroom stem, but after a little discussion with the other two agreed to have the grill guy cook up some for me. The mushrooms are right out of a can, not fresh, with that canned, processed taste and mushy texture, instead of a grilled taste and appearance. The onions are supposed to be caramelized. No they are just grilled. It was supposed to include sweet peppers, not banana peppers. No surprise there - it had hot banana peppers. Totally ruined the sandwich. It takes a real effort to make that many errors on an order that had one sandwich and a fountain drink, but their grill guy was up (down, actually) to the challenge. If you are tempted to eat there, just resist it. Go just about anywhere else nearby and you will be doing yourself a favor.

I was a bit skeptical about trying here as I figured it would be just like an American Deli's Cheese steaks or A Wings and Philly place. However, It was anything but that. I ordered 3 "Originals", 6 Hot Wings and Fries and a drink. It was all very good tasting. The lady and gentlemen that were working were very friendly and quick. The price was a little high, but I'm chalking that up to the rise in beef prices due to current situation. I most defiantly will comeback and get another cheesesteak here.

The food was ok couldn't really enjoy it cause I had to pee and they did not let me use the rest room. They are price $10.35 for a 10" that was actually small. Wouldn't really recommend this place

Sooo good granted I did ask for extra extra cheese I was in and out within like 5min I can't complain I don't know what others are about

Be prepared for a LONG hold when calling orders in.

This location makes a decent sandwich but the service is lackluster. The cleanliness of the restaurant needs attention as well. I prefer to phone my orders in and I have no issue with being put on hold for a reasonable amount of time while they serve customers in person. However, today I was placed on hold for a very unreasonable 26 minutes. When the associate finally came back to the phone she offered very little in the way of an apology. Very poor customer service. This isn't the first time either. I need to find a new place in the Vinings area for a cheesesteak sandwich.

Great spot to eat! I've dined here twice now (takeout both times due to social distancing requirements). The staff is very friendly and they do a great job of keeping surfaces wiped down and clean. I picked up a cheesesteak called "The Works" with steak (chicken is an alternate option). The subs come in 5", 7", or 10" sizes. My meal came as a combo (fries or chips and a 20 oz drink). The cheesesteak was delicious! The meal cost me $11.87 after a 20% military discount. Without the discount the price would've been roughly $13.50 with tax... still a decent price. Anyway, I plan to hit this spot up a few more times before leaving the Marietta area.

When I walked up, all of the chairs were up so it looked closed, but I peaked in, and they confirmed they were still open. I was greeted with a smile and asked to taste the vegan flavors which were lemon, mango, and berry açai. I'm happy they had multiple vegan options and we're willing to let me try them. I ended up going with the Bory since it was made with oat milk and had oats and berries in it. The lemon and mango were more like sorbets. I gave it a four stars because it was a little bit more expensive than anticipated and they charged a dollar extra for the vegan options. Not sure why vegan options are more expensive, especially if they are similar in size as the non-vegan options.

While my dietary restrictions didn't allow me to partake, the girls and bestie enjoyed their treats. They just had ice cream and cones. We agreed that we'd have to come back a different time to try the donut/ice cream sandwich! There is a parking garage next to this storefront that is partially public parking and partially residential. The public parking is three dollars for 30 minutes. You have to pay it on your cell phone, and they charge a $1.20 service fee. So 30 minutes of parking is actually $4.20. This was just enough time for us to go inside order sit to eat and get back to the car with five minutes to spare. Luckily, we went in during a slow period, because we were able to order right away. Also, there is only bar top seating with four barstools, so it was the perfect amount of seats for those in my group who were eating. Most people who came behind us did a grab and go.

We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. We went to the amazing Atlanta aquarium, and the Yard is a short walk away. The menu is a good size, and there are a good variety of options, we had a hard time choosing. It was not very busy during our visit, considering how involved the shakes are to make, we did not want too long. Our group of three each got a milkshake jar. They are pretty pricy, you do get to keep the jar. I had the salted Carmel cheesecake. There was a bit too much whip cream. The shake itself was very good. It was topped with a peice of cheesecake, which was still frozen. I was not a fan of it frozen, we ended up taking some of the dessert toppings home, and the cheesecake was good later. I was surprised my niece did not finish her Brookie Batter, she said it was too chocolate. I tried it, and it was too intense with the cocoa. They had a washing station if you get a jar shake to clean it and take it home.
