Service was quick, food was hot and fresh. Wish there was just a few more drink options like lemonade, something aside from soda and tea. There is seating, it is a small dinning area though. Enjoyed the food, did add salt and pepper to the burgers though. Hot wings were good, however they were breaded. Fries and onion rings had no complaints.

Very clean establishment with pleasant staff. Philly was unbelievable! I'll be back often.

This small, no-frills storefront offers a fairly-priced, tastey, hot sammich on soft, fresh-baked bread that serves as an appropriate homage to this Philly streetfood staple. I had the small (8") original with no sides. It was the perfect size for me, and satiated my appetite. But if I'd been hungrier, I would have totally added some onion rings. Maybe next time. There's nothing fancy here. But it offers up great flavor!

The Philly Cheesesteak Corner is a great place to get a tasty twist on a classic sandwich. They have traditional classic and some custom sandwiches. The pizza cheesesteak is a wonderful idea. You need try it. How has it not been done before? Not in Philly or in NYC. But in Bastrop!! This place is a must try.

Want a great cheesesteak sandwich? We'll look no further this place is so good! Our 2nd time here and will keep coming back very consistent and pack of flavors and full of meat I mean just look at the photo you need a fork and plenty of napkins I got the authentic Cheesesteak combo it has mushroom, onion, green pepper so tasty reminds me of PA street cart style sandwich, curly fries are the BEST!!! Chicken philly was juicy and seasoned well They don't only have cheesesteak they have burgers which is also amazing and huge burger. Top everything off don't forget to get a jar of Queso for $7 so worth it Service friendly staff, quick and even brings your food to you just don't forget to tip at the counter, they so deserve the tip.

Can't get enough of this place! I come here at least once every other week and am never disappointed. I love the authentic combo- my go to order, but everything I have tried here has been yummy! Friendly staff and quick service! This is an awesome little hidden gem that most wouldn't look twice at.

Decided to pick up an 10inch #4. The authentic with mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. The dining room is tiny with about 4 or 5 tables. There is an order window. Simple menu. You can see the kitchen and the Hispanic ladies back there had the place smelling fantastic. There was one order in front of me and mine only took about 10 minutes at most. I got the 10in philly upgraded to curly fries and added the cheese sauce and a drink. Total was just under $17. A little steep, but I did go for the extras. My sandwich looked as amazing as it tasted. Soft chewy bread. Delicious, well cooked and seasoned meat. Perfectly cooked fresh veggies. Just heavenly! Really. A great, great sandwich. The curly fries were tasty, and just the perfect crispy. Maybe a little skimpy on the amount, but satisfactory. My only issue overall, is that they are advertising a 2oz cheese sauce, but are only using a 1oz container. Delicious cheese sauce, but false advertising is terrible. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe they were out of 2oz containers. Even so. I was told nothing and allowed to pay for what turned out to be half the product. 1 star off for that.

We had a group of 8 adults who had just completed touring 2 of the Painted Churches, in and around Schulenburg. While our tour guide greeted several servers as we entered like old friends, I don't think that was the cause of their friendliness to our group as a whole, I saw them happily greeting everyone and providing excellent service. Our happy server quickly took drink orders, you can tell when a server is confident in her job and knows the routines as she never wrote anything down but when she returned with drinks, the orders were all correct. She then took orders for lunch, we had a variety of offerings from the menu. I decided on the Tzatziki Salad, a nicely presented Greek style salad with grilled chicken breast slices and some tzatziki with pita points. Others around me had the Rueben and the grilled chicken salad and said everything was perfect. I also heard great things about the home made chicken salad and their hamburgers. And if you feel like your garden needs a bit more color, just step into the garden center after lunch and pick out some lovely plants to take home!

I was pleasantly surprised at the absolutely amazing freshness and quality of the food and modern/light atmosphere of this place (a bit unexpected after a few lackluster food experiences in Schulenberg leading up to our lunch here). It was every bit at good as some of the cafes I've eaten in major cities (where there is heavy dining competition). Mom and I both ordered their delicious chicken salad sandwich, piled high (but not too thickly) with shredded chicken on perfectly baked, flaky (but not too flaky) croissant bread. The chicken salad was a perfect blend of seasonings with a few cranberries for a little sweetness. Divine! Each sandwich came with a side of crispy/perfect (seemingly handmade) chips. Our tour guide ordered a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich which she seemed to really enjoy as well, complete with perfectly buttered and crisp grilled sourdough bread. The atmosphere was very modern and new yet warm and dotted with beautiful antique pieces (be sure to check out the old buffet across from the bathroom doors, gorgeous!). And this place seemed packed with many locals in their brunch attire to enjoy the great food and great hospitality of the wait staff. Behind the restaurant, they also host a beautiful nursery where you can browse under the trees through their fairly extensive collection of plants (flowering and non flowering - we saw some variations of native flowering plants we've either never seen before or don't see often so my mom purchased a few for her garden!), chat with the very knowledgeable and friendly owner of the nursery, browse the little nursery gift shop full of unique and beautiful items, and even visit with the sweet "shop" kitties (who seem to like to hang out near the nursery gift shop entrance) if you wish. All in all, a very special experience at this gem in Schulenberg. We will definitely make this our number one stop for meals (and to buy more plants) in Schulenberg when we return!

Oh my sweet, sweet Sweetgreen…read more I've always loved their salads and have recently become obsessed with their wraps. Their caesar salad wrap to be specific. Everytime I order from a Sweetgreen the veggies are fresh and the portion size vs. the price is fair. I can usually get two meals out of one order. I want to give major kudos to this location specifically because I accidentally left my wallet while visiting on a Saturday afternoon. After not being able to find my wallet thinking it was in my house somewhere I decided to stop by the Union Market Sweetgreen location to check on Monday. I look forward to visiting this location more often especially because they have a lot of seating. And side note, be sure to download their apps. Are they hoping the better-known Mediterranean bowl place will be so full they can catch their overflow? People in a rush might skip the line and try this less-known healthy bowl food restaurant instead? But I digress... I had tried CAVA four times or so and every time I saw MAD Greens and thought, Someday I'm going to try that place. Well, last Sunday was the day. I got to eat what I wanted because I was eating solo. I'm going all in on this trial run, I thought to myself, so I bought one salad for that day and ordered another to be my lunch the following day. I walked in and was the only customer in the restaurant. I was greeted warmly by the young man behind the counter, who called me queen and had no complaint about my asking for no tomatoes and the dressings on the side. I tried the Greek one and the sesame sriracha one. The place was clean enough and the employees seemed to be enjoying themselves, chatting and goofing off a reasonable amount. The bowls were great. I chose the Greek one first when I realized it had pita chips inside. It came with two dressings, the creamier of which was a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Confession--I am a recovering picky eater and I hate cucumbers, but I love sneaking them into my body underneath delicious dressings and salty kalamatas. The second day I ate the sesame sriracha situation. It had tofu, which tbh I have never successfully eaten, and it was really good. It reminded me of the paneer in Indian food. That salad had edamame too, so I was definitely satiated and I'm guessing I got plenty of protein. Overall, I will definitely go back. CAVA has had some consistency problems for me, as well as some of my favorite offerings being limited-time or seasonal (isn't it the worst when restaurants lure you in with seasonal offerings you can't count on?!), so I'm glad to have had such a positive experience here and I'm hoping they will be consistently good.
