Upon arriving to grab our LG dozen... we've always been able to stack military discount and the online coupon for $5 off since our last visit. I even confirmed with the cashier during our last visit because I thought that was really nice of them. The young lady cashiering this time around had no remorse or explanation but a "NO" just military or the coupon. If you're okay with this type of customer service and can over look it plus this place being a bit $$$ definitely try their steam crabs and fish they got here. Customer Service definitely needs work. Its very awkward coming inside to an awkward staring contest with everyone behind the fish counter and cashier ( NO GREETING OR HELLO) as if your trespassing into the building or hi how can we help you today? It was around 4:15 when I called. I got there right at 5, the crabs were ready the shrimp were not. They took an additional 35 minutes (probably because of the special they were running). Because of the wait, when I got home, my crabs were more than lukewarm and needed to be reheated. They turned out great! I'd visit again I wouldn't get the shrimp, nothing significant, they were frozen, thawed then steamed.

JD was incredibly knowledgeable and spent time on the phone giving us detailed instructions on the best way to warm the crabs before eating, along with several helpful tips. The packaging was perfect, and even after a 5-hour drive, the crabs arrived still nicely chilled. Every crab was heavy, large, and absolutely delicious, full of meat and seasoned perfectly. This market was completely out of our way, but the quality and customer service made it more than worth the trip. Thanks to JD's great advice and the outstanding crabs, we're already planning to make the drive again in August for our next trip to the lake. Highly recommend!

Both tasted amazing and I regret not picking up the Biscoff cheesecake. The woman taking the food orders was so pleasant, had a delightful personality and the cutest purple dress with cats on it. I plan on going to the Elkridge fire department on Friday to try and purchase the crème brûlée from this food truck.

Well-fried rockfish pieces topped with a yummy remoulade sauce and finely chopped cabbage. I usually opt for the mixed seasonal vegetables, which is a pretty large side and a good variety of veggies. Not bad for $14! Every time I go, there is someone getting their cream of crab soup, and a few times the truck has sold out; must be good, so I'll have to try that next time. Other popular items include their crab fries. They also usually have some jarred dessert, like crème brûlée or key lime pie. I finally broke down and tried their crème brûlée and it was pretty solid! For $5, it's worth it. The folks there are friendly and work fast to get you your food. Prices are definitely reasonable. Check these guys out sometime.

I'm a chef so I can always appreciate being here especially for the fresh produce and the coconut water which is all 100% coconut water! The prices aren't bad either and of course that really helps in today's economy. I also love the fact that I can get my miscellaneous items as well and the prices are pretty reasonable. I cater a lot but sometimes I don't need bulk items such as sternos and so I can buy them from La Mart for $1.50 a piece and get exactly the amount that I need versus having to buy 30 or 40 pieces at one time from a larger restaurant style store. So that is extremely helpful to me as well.
