I re-visited due to additional recall work needing to be done. All work was done expeditiously and efficiently. The staff is friendly and helpful and the customer service is unchanged - excellent! The appearance and features of the stage are also unchanged. It is fully handicapped-accessible and the lot is uncrowded and easy to traverse. It is easy to find from the Bradley-Bourbonnais exit of I57. Note: The new name of the dealership is Phillips Auto Group of Bradley. When I was looking for a vehicle the Phillips name consistently came up as being an outstanding one by people who had purchased at Phillips, In addition to the Bradley location they also have dealerships in Frankfort, IL and Lansing, IL. read more

Had my 74 year old mother go in to test drive a car and get a quote. They gave her a quote with the typical "add ons" that they try to push. I questioned the ability to negotiate the price of the extended warranty and Shelton tried telling me that they LEGALLY cannot negotiate the price. Well, that is not true. It is their dealership policy, but that does not make it a law. Saying they can't legally do that is DECEITFUL to the customer and should be addressed as such. I talked to Walter, the general sales manager, and he didn't seem bothered by Shelton being dishonest about this. Playing it off as "not a big deal" is not a good look and is bad business. I asked about getting the deposit back that was provided to the dealership and was told it would be 10 business days because they cashed the check. However, that information was not disclosed when putting the deposit down while making a decision to move forward with purchase or not. Do better for your community and when taking care of older clientele that are easily swayed by your words and actions. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! We called multiple times to confirm our 6 PM appointment and that the Silverado we wanted was still available. We even got pre-approved and drove two hours for this appointment--only to arrive and find they had sold the truck without giving us a single call. Julio Perez the salesman, wouldn't even look us in the eye or take responsibility, and Walter Fields, the general manager, kept switching his story--first saying the truck was sold at 1 PM, then claiming it was sold 20 minutes before we arrived. This level of unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and complete disregard for a customer's time is unacceptable. If you value your time and money, stay far away from this dealership. read more

I removed everything from my car before it got towed, everything except for one penny that was in the door handle area. With the greasy handprint all over my car door and looks like somebody was getting change and left change, $.12 and their greasy handprints. They drove my car over 5 miles. Rv parts people don't know their jobs. Tried to order a 5th wheel hitch, but they couldn't figure out which one I needed for my new truck. Was told I couldn't use my Chevy Rewards points. Called dealer in Pontiac and used points and the hitch made by Chevy. Still have had a return call from Phillips about which hitch to use. Their loss. read more

Asked my local dealership to contact Phillips to see if they would transfer a car, Phillips would not. Drove 40 miles to purchase the car and it was transferred to a dealership in Wisconsin, though still listed on their website. Alex wasn't very helpful other than saying sorry and returning to his office. Website lists 7 Kona's and there are 2 on the lot. Beyond disappointed in the service I've received from Phillip's over the last couple of months. They went from a 5 star rating to less than 1 in my book.  I would highly recommend if you need anything that you find another dealership and service department. I've been buying my cars from this location for the last 15+ years but based on the awful service I've experienced recently - I will NEVER give them a dollar of my money and will be sure to share my poor experiences with anyone willing to listen!!  My 2018 Chevy Impala A/C went out because of a manufactures defect but because I am over my standard 36,000 warranty they will not cover more than $300 of the service (even though they've been notified by a bulletin issued by GM that the warranty can allow for up to an additional $500 toward the A/C service for customers...and be no out of pocket for the local dealership).   Oppo To make matters worse they told me my car would be done in 8 hours (appointment was scheduled for 8am on Monday) at closing time today we were told it's not ready and wont be until Thursday...I'm still not clear on why the delay because the parts are in house... You can imagine the disappointment on not getting the financial support and less than reasonable turnaround time but now I also to need to rent a car so we can get to work and support our family.  Nice work Phillip's!  Unbelievable! Do your homework prior to having any RV work done. Know what your talking about and keep track of the parts and labor. Do not deal with mechanic Bob - extremely condescending. If you are a female... TAKE A MALE WITH YOU! Lloyd at service desk not extremely schooled in RV knowledge but helpful at beginning of the process. When I asked questions I felt like I was aggravating the staff. Was told I need new tires - when they applied the new tires with older date, tires were placed on rig backwards. They were upset that I even asked where date was on tire after we could not locate them because they were applied backwards. After I asked to see all the work was done so I could pay my bill Bob was extremely condescending and rude. Simple questions. Was hung up on by RV sale manager when trying to figure out tire Debacle. Really stressful experience to say the least. Won't take my business here in the future. I would say to take the time to drive to Joliet RV Center. read more

I brought my CERTIFIED CHEVY EQUINOX , into phillips chevy on 11/23 with a check engine lite problem. they put dieelectric grease on a wire connection and sent me home. Two days later check engine lite came back on. Took back in and chevy has been in car dealership ever since. The service mgr even emailed me to say mechanic had problem occur while he was driving. Phillips has not done anything to repair it. They were supposed to call GM for assistance and call me back and they never called me. Only time they email me is if I email them first or call. Mgt. never has returned my calls. I have wife in wheel chair and vehicle was purchased to go to specialist 60 miles away. What do I do next. It is clear that Phillips chevrolet will not stand behind there Certified Vehicle problem. Phillips chevrolet just dont care about customers they just punch time clock and go home. Bringing your RV in for service is a horrible experience. Called and asked about service. Spoke to Jeff said bring it in we will take a look. Dropped off on a Thursday afternoon. Called to check on Monday and person answered the phone said no way they were going to even look at it this week. Now it's Saturday they have had the RV 9 days and still haven't even looked at it. My family has been dealing with Phillips for awhile both in automobile purchase and RV service since 1979. We have had good experience with them both in the Frankfort location for autos and at this location for RV service. My dad says they were very knowledgeable and accommodating of him and my mother while parts were ordered and waiting for repairs in the motorhome. They were full timers and told me when there was a problem with their motorhome they purchased new it either went to the factory, the chassis manufacturer or Phillips Chevy RV center I myself started using them last summer with the same RV and will continue to count on them. They are: 1. Very nice and professional 2. Easy to communicate with either by phone or email 3. Thorough in their diagnosis 4. I took my RV in for service. I dealt with Jeff. IT WAS THE WOIRST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! He overcharged me and belittled me. It took me 3 weeks to get him to admit he threw out my awning! It was dented but he had no right to throw it away. So, I decided to go to the head of the dept., Art. He told me that I was commiting insurance fraud because I CHOSE not to fix some stuff!!! I will never go there again and tell anyone who owns an RV to stay away from there!!! read more

Disappointing experience. I was interested in an rv they had, inquired about it through their internet sales. I received a text stating I'd receive a $20 gas voucher if I made an apt. to come to see it. Since it was an hour from my house and with gas prices being what they are, it enticed me to make the trek out there to see the rv. I made the apt., but when I got there, they told me their rv sales specialist wasnt there. (One would wonder why the apt. was confirned if the proper staff wasn't even there to sell me the rv.) Although the guy that helped me was very nice, I don't think I could have closed a deal that day. They low-balled my trade-in by thousands and told me to come back tomorrow with my truck/camper to evaluate it. When I mentioned the gas voucher (since my truck gets like 11 mpg) they seemed in a hurry to see me leave. I'll go to another dealer next time. I never got the gas voucher for the first appointment either. Scam. read more

This dealership is a joke. No one over there can explain to me how my good friend walked out of there with a brand new car and a $700 car payment spread out over 60 months when he only makes about $1,100 in disability and Social Security. He cannot work and barely is able to make his bills on a monthly basis. His roommate is in the same predicament from the Phillips Hyundai in Bradley. Not only were they sold cars that they could not afford, they did not even prepare the cars for them before they left. I had to put the antenna and the license plate holders on. I had to explain to him how all of the features worked. You know why? Because no one over there gave a damn about him once they had his money. I'm totally disgusted with this place. My friend is struggling to make ends meet and is now looking for a part-time job. The GM was of no help at all when I reached out to him. What a waste! read more

I had my Sabre 5th wheel in for service recently and I could not be happier. After dealing with the typical parts delays per Forest River we are very happy with the results. The service manager Nate and his staff were able to complete my warranty repairs. I feel that they went above and beyond, fixing even some of the small items as well as repairing my slide out and replacing the flooring. If needed I will return. read more

I bought my Elantra brand new from this dealership 3 years ago, and my parents have gotten several vehicles here as well. The man who sold me the car in 2017 was great, but today I left disappointed to say the least. I noticed some paint peeling on the roof of my car and called right away to see what could be done about it. They got me in the next day which was great, but I drove an hour for the appointment to only be given 2 minutes of their time. The woman in the service department glanced at the peeling and said "okay, we should be able to get that covered for you under warranty. Let me go talk to the manager." Well her manager, without even looking at my car or talking to me, told her that there is nothing they can do for me because the paint warranty was up two months ago. Nothing. They weren't willing to do anything for me even though I bought the car BRAND NEW FROM THEM just three years ago. A three year old car should not have peeling paint. When I asked for a quote to fix it, the woman just said "Oh, I don't know.. maybe $250 ish? But honestly, just talk to your car insurance. They'll probably cover it without a deductible because it's not peeling due to damage you caused." What??? How..why..is that the advice I'm getting? And that BS out of the clouds quote she gave me had to be devastatingly incorrect because I immediately stopped by a body shop for an actual expert's advice. He told me that the paint is peeling due to a manufacturer issue, no fault of my own and that it would be $1,500 to repair. The whole experience at Phillip's today was shocking and infuriating. Why couldn't they just give me that info over the phone?? I understand I'm outside the warranty(barely) but why did I have to drive an hour for someone to barely glance at my car and tell me they weren't willing to help?? Terrible customer service to a Hyundai car owner from a Hyundai dealership. Yikes. I won't be returning. read more

Went in to get a quote on a new vehicle. They seem very professional, but when you get your quote for trade - WATCH OUT. Please make sure you do your homework on your vehicle before you get there. Of course they need to make their money too...but they low ball offer on your vehicle - and I believe it is due to the fact that I am a woman and "don't know any better". Yes...loved the car I was test driving - but don't think they will give you a good deal - cause they won't . They offered 13,500 on my vehicle that they are selling one year older in their parking lot with more miles for 22,795. My car just had a complete recondition inside and out and is clean as a whistle. Then they come and try to explain that the market is really not great on this particular car right now. I watched the salesman go online and not check boxes on options that my car had...trying to make it seem like I didn't know what I was talking about. There are other dealers with the same car I was looking to purchase for less money...and offering me more money for my trade - actually what is was WORTH! I took my car in for repairs on a recall was told my defective part was not the recall. I was ment with rudeness, disrespect, scream at, over talked, over charged, lied too and items stolen from the car. Keys left in my car and unlocked. Was told 2 hours of labor, charged for 3. When I complained to GM they were told 4 hours of labor and I was only charged for 3. The book hours are 1.5. You can not believe anything they tell you as I took the reported defective part to another mechanic. The part was in working order. So I was stolen from by them cheating on a part that worked fine. If I could give them a 0 I would. Never buy or take your car to get repaired from or you will get taken also. read more

Bought a suv from them and it had all kinds of problems!! yes the truck was used, but said it was clean! Nothing wrong with it and it was one owner who traded it in for a new one! Took his word. weeks later it it smoked up , jerking and just stop running. The twerk converter need to be replaced! And something else needed to fix. No cost to me, they fixed it! Something else that I can't remember. My first oil change they told me that I needed a tune up, replace all bets, transmission fluid service! Not to mention at my oil change appointment the radiator fluid needed draining I left there paying over 200.00. One moth later car is jerking again, and won't drive past 40. Take it back to c what's wrong with it. Now I needed a catalytic converters both replace and it will cost me 2,312.63. So after my frustration I paid for the diagnostic test that cost me another 149.95 for one hour service! Please don't buy used cars from them because they never diagnostic or test them out before you buy a car!! Will never recommend anyone!! read more

have a 2015 Chevy Sonic. my car has been in the shop 6 time for the same thing the air conditting unit in my car keeps going from high to low and the car has to be driven along with intermediate stops, I have had numerous updates completed and new blower motor and the blower motor resister, and this last time ground wires. the dealership couldnot get the car to duplicate what was going on so they called me and asked for me to come and drive the car with the service manager Joe, I came in and once I opened my car door I had a zero candy bar wrapper and sunflower seeds in my car, I was very upset, I don't treat my car like this and I don't even eat in my car so when I seen this I lost it. The Techs are very disrespectful to owners cars. I would of liked to personally talked to the tech and told him a few things. Joe promised he would have my car cleaned I get there 3 days later to pick up the car and still dirty. I meet with Bernie and I told him I was very mad and I was lied to. and then when leaving I seen Joe and told him that he lied to me to. Finally the next morning I receive another call to come and pick up the car it was cleaned and ready for me to drive. I went to pick up my car and when Bernie was giving me my paperwork he says to me, ' I bet you trashed our car dint you?' I said hell no I didn't not an di was very upset that the question was even stated. I cant wait to get my survey from Chevy. just a warning it will not be nice and you will fell from me.
