I scheduled it for replacement His wife Tracey (nice lady) sent over my inspection report with pictures. The report showed the leaking condenser unit and also he noticed a leaking CV Axle. His inspection was very thorough and he checked EVERYTHING. He also replace a bulb in the upper tail light assy and did an oil change. I mentioned to Tracey that my dog had to be put down. It's the middle of September and I still don't have any idea of what's going on. They do not call to update me and when I call I get a voice mail. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! I went in for a system cooling flush and thermostat. I get my car back and…read moreit runs hot as soon as I went around the block (NEVER did that before) looked in my coolant it's full of dirty foam and my AC wasn't working and it worked great when I dropped it off. They told me to bring it back, they did another flush and it still ran hot looked in the coolant NO COOLANT. I was told to pull over and turn car off whenever it runs hot by the mechanic (LIKE REALLY!!) keep in mind I had already got a full diagnostic so I knew what needed to be fixed. Took it to VW shop and they said American Muffler screwed up my car they broke my water pump, radiator, thermostat was never fixed, they used stop leaked, among other problems. I wish I never cheated on my mechanic cause $440 cost me $5,000 in repairs and a new engine. I was told they WERE NOT CERTIFIED TO WORK ON FOREIGN CARS and they're known for screwing people over. I took to social media and I'm glad I saved a few people from going there and heard many horror stories about this shop. I would hate for someone to go through what I did. And the mechanic knew he messed up my car you could see it all over his face and for the squidward gonzo nose lady at the front desk pretending to jump over the counter like you were going to do something I wish to God you would have cause I would have got my $money$ worth out of kicking yo ass!!!! The shop took pictures and everyone is telling me I should sue them and I'm really considering especially when I have the full diagnosis before I gave it to them vs how they gave it back. If you want to find a good shop GO TO USA MUFFLER 814 E Ridge Rd Griffith IN. They always fix my vehicles correctly and they're certified I wish I would have taken my car there like I usually do.
