Despite that, we had a great conversation about her family and the island (Lesvos) she is from. As some on here have said. she is blunt. But it's not rudeness if you are familiar with different ethnic communication styles. I'm half Southern Italian and we communicate the same way. I've also seen this directness in older German women. Tina is actually full of good information and very welcoming if you just put aside assumptions instead of being offended easily. I would recommend her store for the products she offers. I bought some olive oil soap but she has jewelry, decorations, food, etc. There were also some very nice men's shirts and baby christening outfits.

She is skilled, but she has a bad habit of agreeing on a price, and then, when you arrive to pick up your items, rather than honor that contract, she charges an inflated price. I do not think this is a mistake. She is experienced enough to know how much time she will have to put into making or tailoring an item. I regret having to write this review because her work is good and on time

I had a bridesmaid dress with a hole in the back from being dragged on the floor and there were some dirty spots as well on the dress. I panicked and went to this place and in a couple of hours, the lady texted me saying the dress was ready! She ended up sewing over the spots and she did such a fantastic job covering the hole and cleaning the dirt! She charged me a very fair amount and I was extremely grateful for the work she did on my dress. I highly recommend this place for any tailoring! This woman is the expert!

I told the owner what I wanted and put my trust into her to pick out nice fabric. I loved her choices for my satin and lace. I did approve the fabric before the dress was made of course. I wanted antique white, not white or ivory and she got it perfect. The dress was done on time and was very inexpensive ($420.00 includ fabric). The only thing I would warn brides is that she made my dress very fast so dont freak out if a few weeks before the wedding you go for a fitting and think it will never be done in time. She had mine all ready to go on date I requested (4 days before my big day) and the quality was top notch.

First, she has you change with the windows opened (no curtains shut) and I spent 15 min trying to explain what I wanted done with her telling me that I should've just ordered the clothing in the right size in the first place (I had to order a size up due to the website not having the size I needed, therefore all I needed her to do was take the clothing in) I left my piece of clothing with her to get the alterations done and she told me to call her back in a couple days to see if it was done because she was forgetful. I called her when she told me to and I got no answer (she has no answering machine, the phone just rings) I ended up calling her everyday for the next 5 days without any answer from her. I went to her business and left a note saying I was trying to get a hold of her and I would like to get my clothing back. I ended up getting a hold of her the next day in which she very rudely blamed the whole thing on me and I told her I would like to pick up my clothing in 15 min...she rudely said for me to come pick up my stuff and hung up on me. I arrived at her business to find her, once again, not there. Thankfully, one of her family members showed up and gave me my stuff and a price. The work done on my clothing was shotty, and I was charged way more than needed to be for the work done. Totally not work the extreme headache.

We got so many compliments on the dress and suit, and they were altered so we could hike down from the summit in them! Thank you, Irene, for making it all so incredibly easy for us!
