    Delays and food is so so. The only benefit is the non stop and flies you to connect to your hometown region. The workers are nice but the planes are old, need updates including their electronic notifications to passengers for delays or maybe free meals for delays. Try other options if you fly to Manila only.

    Philippine Airline emailed me again today that refund is being processed and I have to wait three more months --- I paid for the fare in full last March 2020 for a June flight that was cancelled. I requested for a refund immediately after it was cancelled and I was told to wait three months. When three months was up I checked with them and said that is takes five months. Now that I checked again on the 6th month of wait -- an email tells me they started processing it and it will take another three months or so. This airline is a scammer and a crook! Try other airlines if you want your money back on time and if you don't want be be cancelled

    Just got off the phone with the customer service of PAL in the Philippines, tel no. 800 435 9705, (a person working in a call center answering the call or I don't know). I was requesting a refund of a seat reservation of $20 (to get a seat near the aisle) for the scheduled flight on August 21. This seat can be sold in not even a minute for sure. Aisle seat for easy access to the lavatory. As the person aged the muscle of the bladder got loose too, was informed by this customer service named "OREN" that this special service " it seems a favor to the passenger for the word "special setvice", buying a seat near the aisle -for easy access to the lavatory for $20 cannot be refunded. Seats in the middle and near the window are free. Reason also for choosing the aisle seat so the person sitting in the seat will not be bothered by you getting in and out if you're sitting in the middle or near the window. What can you say? Good marketing? Or ANNOYING MARKETING"? When my daughter was almost finished buying the ticket online, she realized that the first ticket under her daddy's was only one-way and not the round trip that was supposed to be. She can't go back anymore to correct it so she decided to cancel the booking but cannot cancel the seat reservation, that can only be done by speaking to customer representatives of PAL. Our RT tickets were processed successfully by my daughter and cost so much with the aisle seats RT for $40 on top of our pricey RT tickets. My daughter requested me to call and provided me with the 800 number. Prior to calling PAL, my husband's niece in California called and informed me that he got the dates of our trip with the lower price given to him, and $1200 could be saved. That's another one-person RT ticket to the Philippines! I agreed and decided to cancel the ticket and the agency (Philippines-based agency) did everything to include the cancellation of the booking and refunded the seat reservations. These were done completely without any hassles. The issue here is that, this OREN, a customer representative of PAL follows the guidelines in front of him, are these guidelines only applicable to him and not to the agency representatives and the other PAL customer representatives who attended my request earlier to process the seat reservation refund for the incorrect return dates to go back to the US and the agency who processed the cancellation of the ticket for cheaper prices as well as the seat reservations. It was even mentioned why seats are being sold with OREN's responses: "it's part of MARKETING STRATEGY". What? Selling every space of the plane to gain profits? How could anyone travel without a seat? It's better to add $20 into the fare prices so it's black and white that the passenger has a seat and first come and first serve basis. A Very poor strategy of marketing to sell the seat for a price. One day every space in the plane has a price. One day every time the passengers use the lavatory, use a hand soap and towel to dry hands has price to pay and also ask for a glass of water he/she has to pay even to add two pieces of ice she/he has to pay, yes because it's a marketing strategy). No wonder that lots of flights were cancelled due to less passengers were booking/buying tickets in JFK, LA and San Francisco. I I was the one insisted to fly again with PAL for it's a straight one and no lay over. Actually my doctor encouraged me to fly with lay over so I can walk around during the changes of plane in prevention of blood clot for too long of sitting down. If didn't see any action AFTER THIS REVIEW, I'll think about using PAL again. PAL owner/management please take a look at these strategies it hurts your customer. If it says follow the guidelines, it should be across the board. These Agencies that sell PAL tickets/do PALS booking as well. Please train your people to be respectful to the customers. The customer is always right. Agencies and your customer representatives are inconsistent with what they're supposed to do. Can you imagine, this OREN (customer rep or working in a call center) has the nerve to ask me the name of the customer representative who assisted me? I don't snitch OREN!

    Never again at PAL Airlines terrible, always DELAYED, lavatory is disgusting. NEVER AGAIN!

    I've posted about UA before…read more Suffice it to say that, if money is a factor, I would far rather fly economy on JAL, ANA, Singapore, Emirates, Qatar or any other respectable CIVILIZED airline than on United or most other US flag carriers. I suggest that you do the same. I believe that it is better to have a seat that does not lie flat but have decent food (i.e. food that doesn't test your gag reflexes), flights that leave and arrive on time, clean restrooms, and pleasant staff, not to speak of your baggage arriving on the same flight as you do, then stretching out with worry feeling aggravated throughout the entire flight. I'll leave it up to you which is more important - lying flat or your sanity. Choose wisely!

Radar/weather app at the time did not indicate that. Passengers were told we would reboard at 7pm. Once again plane was loaded but delayed by some " luggage issue". At 9pm the plane having been already lined up on tarmac was returned to gate. The thunder storm by now had actually reached Newark (3-4 hours after we were due to arrive initially). Plane was reboarded for the the THIRD time at midnight. We arrived at Newark at 2:40 am. 11 hours late!! Terrible operations and logistics. No meal vouchers no info on hotel accommodation. Not exactly " one shining moment" I expected more from United

The airplane was in overall clean condition and the leather seats were very comfortable and functional. The movie and television show selection could've been better but this is a first world problem. The food and beverage service is limited to 1-2 tours per flight so I recommend packing your own bottle of H20 and snacks. Food isn't inclusive and it's best to make your meal purchases in advance. This allows for more choices and ensures availability. I opted for the steak Béarnaise sandwich on my way to Iceland which proved to be far better than I anticipated. Additionally, it was extremely filling and I only ate half essentially making it two meals. For the return flight, I purchased a Margherita pizza and an order of chicken nuggets. The nuggets were terrible - beyond bland and the only condiments they offered were ketchup and mayonnaise. I detest mayo and I think ketchup on chicken is gross so those went to waste. The pizza was edible at best so I wouldn't recommend either. My friend also had the steak sandwich on the initial flight and she opted for the turkey bagel sandwich on the return flight. This accompanied my chicken nuggets.... to the landfill. The flight attendants were much friendlier on the return flight but both flights were enjoyable and the pilots were great. We experienced a lot of turbulence on one of the flights but the pilot did an excellent job of keeping passengers informed. I would fly with Icelandair again and have no problem recommending them. Just be prepared to pay for some extras such as a decent seat and meals or snacks.

It caused delays in my vacation and I got a free voucher for a nearby hotel stay until tomorrow morning to board a new plane. Sucked that it caused my whole vacation to be delayed. Just now I filed a claim for the whole delay and broken plane and surprisingly I got back $1,200 for the whole delay. So it's good I got my reimbursement back for my whole trip to be screwed up by the broken plane. Imagine we boarded the broken plane then I would have been dead. Luckily they caught the problem before boarding.

For any type of services there should be an option to pay using credit or debit or even checks. since I had to wait for money to be transferred to my bank account i needed 5-10 mins and the staff were like we are gonna cancel your flight and return your ticket. The representative that were yelling were super mad at previous customer he start to use words that is so appropriate like "fagot" and etc. of course I did Not sit quite and the crazy part that the airline has no supervisor or someone who could help. The guy got upset and kicked me from the flight and returned the money that I paid for the bag. Now I lost $650 that I paid for the ticket and had to stay in the hotel near by so there is another $100. if you don't wanna be in the situation like me stay away from UZBEKISTAN AIRWAYS.

I bought an extra check-in luggage beforehand just in case as it seemed like you were not able to bring 2 baggages without a surcharge. I will say once I got onto the flight, I definitely could've just brought on the second baggage as they were not really checking for this. The seats were very much like a Spirit or Frontier, very cramped. Also, EVERYTHING costs money. I think maybe other than water which they don't "willingly" provide you, you need to purchase every other "fun" drink and menu item. There is also no free in-flight entertainment. It was very clear that this was a budget airline. Even the check-in was a bit chaotic as they didn't announce the group numbers and when you actually boarded the flight was very different from the ticket designated boarding time. That being said, the flight was actually fantastic. Very smooth and the views were absolutely amazing as we flew above the chunky clouds in the American Southwest. It was truly one of the most beautiful flights I've ever been on especially landing into CDMX during golden hour. I guess if you're looking for a nonstop flight from New York to CDMX, this is not a bad choice. Remember to bring food onboard as you will be hungry.

My friend was not allowed to board due to an e-visa issue, which was actually a mistake made by the issuing officer and was already in the process of being corrected. Despite this, the staff were unprofessional and unwilling to help at all during a very stressful situation. Instead of assisting, I felt like I was being passed around from counter to counter with no clear guidance or support. What made it even more frustrating was that supervisors initially called her on aside and promised they would help resolve the issue. However, in the end, there was no real support or solution provided, and she was simply shown the way out. Overall, the staff came across as unprofessional and unhelpful, especially at a time when customers are already under stress. The experience felt disorganized and left a very negative impression on me. Air India needs to significantly improve staff training and accountability. Customers should not be tossed around from counter to counter without proper assistance. In my experience, it felt like staff were avoiding responsibility rather than actively helping to resolve the issue.

I had to make all my reservations online, and that was fine. However, a couple of months before my trip I checked online to make sure our reservation and flight were all fine, and saw that our seats had been changed. This was because, according to them, the aircraft that we were supposed to use was changed to a larger plane. That of course was not a problem. The problem was that we had chosen two seats together, both window and aisle, and now we would have to share the row with someone else. But for the 3.5 hours trip I was able to make that exception. Then, a few days later, I looked again and saw the same thing had happened for the return trip. Once again, no email, no call, no nothing. Well, I didn't like it. I then called to cancel but was told that I would need to do everything online and request my refund online, which I did. The next time I plan a trip to Taipei I will spring the extra bucks for Eva Air or JAL or ANA. I don't like sudden changes, and especially don't like being told on the phone that this is something that everyone should expect! No, it isn't if you fly by any respectable airline! I also don't like surprises sprung on me. China Airlines is cheaper than the other airlines I mentioned, but it is not a budget airline by any means. I expected more than being told to "do it yourself" when I called them. I mean, really??? I can't comment on the food or inflight service as I wound up not going. However, if you have a choice, look for another way to travel. It's better to be safe than sorry. I know I will.

Here were some of the highlights: - I think they remodeled the inside cabins from the purple look they had before which was great. - The seats, I feel like, are able to extend back a lot more than the seats from other airlines. - I think what surprised me the most was definitely the meals. I do think that out of the two options I feel as if I chose the better one, but the food was actually pretty good. For dinner I had this rice noodle chicken dish and for lunch I had beef and rice. For both of the dishes, the vegetables were pretty tasty and not overly drenched in sauce. Also the flavor profile was on the lighter side and both of the meats were quite tender. However I do still think that they have some things to improve on such as the fact that their usb chargers don't actually work unless you are constantly pressing it at all times. Also, I don't like the headset set up as they don't have a normal input port and so you must use their headsets when you're in economy. But overall, its a lot better experience than I anticipated and will be flying with them more back to Taiwan.
