Unique handmade jewelry made by domestic and international artists are sold and displayed
Vi T.

Such a sweet find as I was strolling down Piedmont Avenue this weekend. The store has curated household accessories, purses, and glocal artist-made jewelry that Philippa Roberts (the owner) finds and connects with on her travels. She also designs and has some of her own handmade jewelry for sale at this shop. Lots of cute, whimsical and fetching items to peruse. I ended up buying a book and ceramic trivet made in Turkey.

Diana O'Connor Designs Masks. Love them!

This is a review for the Diana O'Connor Designs masks and the shop's customer service. These are the BEST face masks to wear during the COVID-19 pandemic. They're breathable, comfortable, and come in fun colors and patterns. The unique design makes them roomier while still molding to your face. I got the behind the ears version, but they also carry an over the head type. I bought two, my mom ordered two, and my boyfriend's mom just purchased some. We love them! Plus the customer service was excellent. They didn't have the pattern I wanted so they placed an order which arrived in a few days. They called me to follow up. Beautiful and clean shop. Totally hassle free!

Uh huh. Yes. I did.

Sitting here this afternoon daydreaming far from where my thoughts need to be focused to earn my keep but so what it will just be for a second. Reading Philippa's reviews, wondering how to put the proper words together to express my own experiential gratitude. Drifted into reflections on our complicated day and how visits here for me make things a lot better. Thought of the simple but so right on line from one of my favorite songs ... well it just goes to show, things are not what they seem ... And then a different verse in that same song rearranged by me ... please, Philippa Roberts, turn my nightmares into dreams ... And then I spun the original and the tight cover by Marianne Faithfull and was in the proper frame of mind thanks to that and them and her to send you this. The little shop on Piedmont is testimony as to why one need not wait for the High Holy Days to pick up a little something for that special someone even if that someone sometimes happens to be you. Cases of tastefully selected local artist jewelry mostly for the her. Now in the window ornaments some of them unicorns and one oddly made it to Bar Cesar go figure. Pens, wallets, stuffies, other fuzzy warm things, once a unicorn head that now hangs in my living room. Arts and crafts and truly interested and enjoyable lovely people helping because they sincerely enjoy you and want you to come back again. The wares rotate and if you go often enough you are invited to sample their frequent traveler box for a token of their appreciation. Things in the outside made up prevaricating world are indeed not what they seem. But. Inside her space it's different. It's real. Comforting. Fundamental. Come and see if you haven't and if you have come again for as you know there will be different things from which for you to choose. I'd not steer you wrong.

Love the Zutano clothes and blankets for babies ... Great for gifts! All babies look cute in Zutano. They have lots of thoughtful gifts here ... Jewelry, baby items, some books, it is a good bet you will find something you like.

This is such a cute store that's beautifully curated with the most stunning collection of pieces that catch Philippa's eye. It's not just jewelry by any means, but homewares, cards, accessories of all kinds, gifts and curios. It's small but so packed with gorgeous objets, that you will barely know where to look! It's not crowded or overstuffed however, it has just the right amount of little trinkets to catch your eye and hold your attention. This is the perfect place to come gift-shopping or checking out styles that could work if you're giving your home a refresh. It's one of my favorite stores on Piedmont Ave that carries on the theme of quirky curation that celebrates beautiful things.

Me and my +1 with lovely PR jewelry on. LOVE

This means amusement parks and local , state , and federal parks. Even neighborhoods like Glen Park for a summer time hike around the canyon. Then you got East bay regional parks for more nature. Then hundreds of thousands of party people flocked to the Golden Gate Park last weekend for OSL ( Outside Side Land). What if I told you there is a park where there have fun things and it's open more than five days of week. It's located on Durant street in Berkeley and it's called Fun Park. On a Summer stroll on Telegraph on a sunny day and unto Durant street I landed at Fun Park. Inside there are lots items such as Pokémon characters and Kawaii goods. You will also see Sonny Angel blind boxes. You will see lots of Hello Kitty and Sanrio characters. They have claw machines .You can find my favorite Avocado & Sweet Mustard Lay chips. Overall a fun spot to spot characters all over inside Fun Park. Come to Fun Park Winter , Spring, Summer, or "Fall"and go on shopping "haul" on your favorite toys and "doll" and you don't need to go to the "shopping mall" Some of these items are "selectable" and some are "collectible"some are dolls which are animals and "vegetable" and go on a Summer stroll with Don Juan who is nothing "correctable"

Really cool mix of edgy, organic, and stunning quality across the board. My partner and I have gotten permanent jewelry from them three times. One year & two years later our bracelets have held up so well, no breaks. Sienna, who does their permanent jewelry, is lovely and super attentive to detail. When we went in for our newest bracelets, they kindly cleaned our other ones, as the stones had gotten a little grubby in the past year. They have a wide ranging selection of chain styles and tons of beautiful charms to add on. We were also able to request a particular stone/setting in advance. All of the sales staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! We have shopped at their original Oakland location during busy hours when they have gracefully been juggling multiple customers and still made the point to check in with us. Their Berkeley space is super open with lots of room for browsing. We tried on a number of rings and they were so helpful in explaining different settings, stone cuts, etc. I wilk be shopping here for years to come!

Worked out well for me: I got to hang out at the bar at Wood Tavern, and scored needed points for being the patient and supportive stand-up guy that I am. Here's her take on the store: I've walked by this store many times. I always paused or slowed down because of the great window displays but never walked in: I mean, do I need another pair of earrings? Turns out I do! I also needed very chic trousers a bit reminiscent of Katharine Hepburn that I can wear all year. I need as much help as I can get to reach my goal of casual elegance - still unattained but these things will get me closer, lol . I almost put them on to wear to dinner. Whoever does the buying has a great design sense. Great place to pick up gifts, too. The whole experience - ambience, lovely young woman who helped me, beautiful things I wouldn't find on Amazon - was such a nice boost that I felt moved to bother to write a review! And because I overlooked the shop, I thought I'd point it out to others. It reminded me that shopping IRL is usually way more fun and effective for clothes and gifts, and that I'm relieved that retail and Oakland are not dead. And so conveniently located near La Farine, Cole Coffee...

Here, you'll find women's clothing, jewelry, handbags, hats, accessories, home, beauty, wellness, decor, and lifestyle items. You'll spend time perusing through every inch of the merchandised space. I found that they carry Clare V. handbags - they currently have the ones that are made from real leather, the kind that is buttery soft to the touch! (oooh). I found a book I was first introduced to via social media and when I had recognized it on their shelf, I knew it was meant to find me. There were a few eye-catching prints and colors apparel brands - on the higher-end price point, but looked to be well-made pieces. Good place to try to find a gift for someone or for yourself. Its connected to the kids shop next door and is under the same ownership.
