Might give it one more try in a few months -- hopefully work out some kinks.

When I first googled the name, a menu came up that had only the fried chicken options, no Thai food, so I called the location directly and was given the correct URL. I looked up the menu and it looked good so we called back and placed an order. For some reason they had no online ordering even though the page appeared to offer it. We took the food home - chicken basil stir-fry and pad thai. The food was absolutely HORRIBLE! The stir-fry was supposed to have fresh vegetables, but these were frozen mixed vegetables that are limp and gross - cuts of broccoli, crinkle cut carrots and peas. The chicken was minimal and I did not taste any basil. The pad thai sauce tasted like it was from a bottle - too sugary sweet and not a lot of flavors, there were also frozen vegetables in this, which is odd. The rice was over cooked and soggy, the pad thai noodles were also. We asked for 3-star heat (medium to kind of hot), there was zero spice in anything. Each entrée was around $20, so this was not inexpensive. The food was so bad that I couldn't even finish my dinner and leftovers went to waste because no one else in our house would eat them either. We were very disappointed and won't be back.

The first time we visited, the employee at the register actually commented on our tip and said to my son-in-law, "Oh yes, I'll work for free for you." Let that sink in. Here he is speaking to my son-in-law who is supporting five people in his family, strategizing a way to take them to dinner while dealing with his MS and this is how he gets treated. I will never go back for that. You are standing at the register, taking our order and payment, not waiting on a table, refilling our drinks, or providing traditional table service--and yet you feel entitled to criticize and shame a customer over their tip? That is completely inappropriate. You would think after an experience like that, we wouldn't go back. But we decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. This time, my family spent OVER $100 on burgers and fries. I tipped the person at the register $15, which I considered to be a generous tip for the level of service provided. We get our own drinks. We get our own condiments. The food is brought out once, and that's essentially the extent of the service. I politely asked the employee if I could have a side of mustard. His response? "I'll try to remember." Seriously? That's the kind of attitude you get after spending over $100 in your restaurant? I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I wasn't being rude. I simply asked for mustard with my meal--and the employee responded as though I was an inconvenience. At this point, I have to say that the customer service is completely unacceptable. Customers should not be made to feel guilty about their tips, and they certainly shouldn't be treated disrespectfully after spending their hard-earned money at your business. And let's be honest: the burgers are good, but they aren't THAT good. There are countless places throughout the Valley where you can get a good burger without being made to feel like you're doing the restaurant a favor by spending your money there. What makes this even more disappointing is that my family has supported this business, and more than 20 members of my family have been customers here. Not anymore. You have lost my business--and the business of my entire family. A restaurant can have good food, but if the people working there make customers feel unwelcome, embarrassed, or like an inconvenience, eventually people will stop coming. You don't get to shame customers for their tips and then expect them to keep coming back. There are plenty of other restaurants in the Valley that serve good burgers, and I would much rather spend my money somewhere that actually appreciates its customers. Philly Steak & Burger Company: you've lost a family of customers over something that should have been very simple--treat people with basic courtesy and respect. Never again. It is very reasonably priced with lots of chicken and many other yummy ingredients with the sauce on the side so you can chose the amount of sauce you prefer on the salad. 7. The beverage station is self-serve and bottomless. 8. The restaurant does a lot of food delivery and take-away.

Phila Deli AZ is an absolute gem of a place! it has become my go-to spot for a quick bite. Great customer service and inviting atmosphere. The portions are great for the price & it's definitely worth supporting a small business!! (Not sure why there's negative reviews simply for the price...it's called taxes & inflation..) The cheesesteaks have perfectly grilled steak that's tender and flavorful. You can totally tell the cooks are passionate about their work! I recommend the Cheeseburger. They also offer a variety of cold and hot subs on Italian hoagie rolls. My favorite is the American Club. Comes with bacon!! I also tried one of their cheesecakes, that are made in the store. Next time I'll have to grab a homemade Ghirardelli chocolate Cookie or muffin... They also offer a nice selection of specialty bottled drinks that are hard to find elsewhere.
