Egg Milk Coffee
Belldandy O.

Every time I come to Dallas, my boyfriend takes me to Phi Coffee & Tea. This time I ordered the Cacao Sua Trung (Egg Cocoa Milk). It was not my favorite drink, but I wanted to try something we haven't tried before. It tasted like chocolate milk, so it wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The cocoa flavor definitely overpowered everything else that was in the drink. It was not busy inside. Our drinks were made within a few minutes and we were on our way shortly afterwards. The plaza itself is a bit busy, especially on the weekend. Parking shouldn't be an issue though.

Nice place for Vietnamese food and drinks. We had several selections for our group of 6 as well as coffees and teas. All very good. Order at the counter and they deliver the food to the table. This is one of several small food kiosks in this little plaza next to the market.

A must try for the coconut snails. A lot smaller then I expected it but it was very good. Spring rolls were great too with the peanut sauce. I have never had green Thai tea! It was good. It was creamy and leafy and a bit nutty! The cashier was very nice when I asked for recommendations.

Hu tieu nam vang

Pros: Interior is cute and cozy The corn milk is pretty good, but the food is okay. Cons: Order Hu Tieu Nam Vang but it came out with broth already in it...normally broth is served on the side This place is little pricier than your average Vietnamese restaurant Would recommend the corn milk at most. Mung bean is refreshing too. The food is only if you never tried or trying to take a friend here for the first time.

Signature Corn Milk

Super chill and vibey ambience, great for hang outs and maybe studying if you like a busy background. This place does not get the recognition it deserves. I have always seen their corn milk sitting on the shelf so I decided to try it. It is a very unique sweet drink, that does taste a bit like corn. I am hoping to try the other signature teas soon. I also got the Taiwan Style milk tea.

I Love the vibe and decor of the place. It feels like a trendy place to hangout with friends and take photos. The place plays really loud music and it does get annoying. It is a tea and coffee shop so you have to wait in line if you plan to eat here and seat yourself. I had the #1 Combo Phi which was a broken rice dish with BBQ pork and a fried egg. The combo includes the green Thai tea. My food came out but they forgot my drink so I had to get back up and remind them. My green thai tea tasted refreshing and delicious. It was perfect. My entree however was bad. The meat was very chewy and super sweet. The flavor was there but the sweetness was overpowering. The fish sauce(?) had a gooey texture which threw me off. It was more of a sweet and sour sauce but fused with fish sauce. It was too sweet which made the dish even worse with the meat. Egg was cooked perfectly to my liking though. I also tried some of their pho and the broth was pretty lacking in depth. The meat was very chewy. The portion was pretty big though.

Nice convenient little place next to the Asian market. The restaurant and designed to look like a little alley with street vendors. I had the classic street breakfast from Vietnam, Bo Ne which translates to dodge beef. It's name come from you slightly dodging the hot skillet has it is placed in front of you. It was very flavorful, the beef was marinated well and sauce that was left in the hot skillet as the meat was cooking was perfect for dipping the fresh bread that came with the meal. The meal also came with a sunny side up egg, French fries, Vietnamese ham, and a small salad. Not many place offers Bo Ne.

Update* Tried their Thai hot pot. It was one of the worst hot pot I've ever tasted. Super bland. The service was terrible. We wanted to order at the counter, they told us to have a seat But then no one even came out or brought a menu. So we moved tables to get their attention. Finally. After sitting here for a while. Someone came out to our table, even though they watched us have a seat at the table. They kept forgetting the bowls, condiments, etc. we hurried up and ate and left after finishing our lunch in 15 mins. All of their milk teas are overly sweetened. I even asked for lightly sweetened and still Way toooooo sweet! The server was too lazy to fix the drink. So he splashed a tiny bit more black tea. And told me it should it be fine now. It was not. The only reason I even give them a 3 star because their xoi dishes are great for a quick lunch. Their banh mi are ok. But I would not buy those here. We've had some noodle dishes with grilled pork that are good. So I do come back here for their food, just not their drinks.

The drinks formerly known as Thai Green Tea and Sea Café. Yummy!!

It's date hop night!! We've got a babysitter and this is our first spot. I got the Thai green Tea and it was DELICIOUS! or was very creamy but had more of a tea flavor which I enjoy. My husband got the Sea Cafe, and he enjoyed it very much. If you're a fan of Vietnamese Coffee you roll enjoy this drink. We also decided to venture out and try #26. Pork guts cooked in 5 spices. We opted for the noddle version. While I did not partake in the pig guts my husband thoroughly enjoyed them. I did like the noodles and the extra sauce they give you on the side. Friendly staff that answered all of my many questions about all their different drinks. Only issue the smell from the super market is a little off putting.

Best boba in town, Thai green tea is a must. Just wish if they can put less ice in there, it's always bland after the ice melted.

If you want a solid hot pot, hangout with friends, date, solo trip, it's great. Highly recommend best of both worlds broth and definitely get the fried rice.

A buffet and hot pot combination can be a dream come true for those who enjoy having the ability to…read moremix and match or experiment with ingredients, control how it's all cooked, then go back for more. But, as Happy Lamb Hot Pot demonstrates, things that are great in theory aren't always that way in practice, Here's how it works. The first step is to choose a soup base from about half a dozen varieties. You can have one, two or three different types in the same pot (although adding a third will cost extra). Then you choose meat: chicken, beef, lamb or pork. They also offer some premium cuts of beef for an additional fee. Once those are ordered, you visit the buffet where there's a wide selection of seafood, vegetables, sauces and even some foods that don't go into the hot pot, like chicken wings, sesame balls and fried rice. While I loved the fact that there were so many options, it quickly became apparent that some were much better than others. For example, the chicken and lamb were fine, but the non premium beef we got was not the best quality. The seafood and vegetables from the buffet were fresh and plentiful. However, the items that were not hot pot-able left something to be desired, like spring rolls that were cold in the middle, or dried out, overcooked fried dumplings. Our group was big enough to use separate hot pots at our table for a total of 4 soups. The Thai Tom Yum soup base was hands down the best and most flavorful of them all. The worse was the original marrow broth, which had a pungent sour flavor that basically made it inedible. I'm sure through trial and error a fantastic meal could be constructed from what's available here. But, for the price, I won't be in big hurry to return and make the effort.

The prices seemed fair at first glance, and our server was actually quite pleasant throughout the night. However, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse with the food quality and management. We ordered the ribs, which were advertised as "fall-off-the-bone." Unfortunately, they were anything but. They were tough and lacked the quality you'd expect. There were four ribs on the plate; we tried two, realized the quality wasn't there, and immediately notified our waiter. We expected the kitchen or management to rectify the situation (either by replacing them or removing them from the bill) When the check arrived, we were shocked to see we were charged for the full plate. When we questioned it, the waiter informed us that the manager refused to take them off because we had "eaten them."Are you kidding? We tasted them to check the quality! It is ridiculous to be forced to pay for a dish that failed to meet its own menu description. It's a shame because I wanted this to be my new go-to spot, but because of this petty management decision, I won't be returning. I do not recommend this place if you value customer
