Tried this place for the first time, and the service was excellent! The food, however, was a different story. The roti was crisp and fluffy, but the curry was diluted and overly thickened with so much cornstarch that you could actually see bits of starch in it. The Hainan chicken was tender, but the soy sauce and chili sauce didn't have the authentic Singapore or Malaysia flavors I was hoping for. The rice that came with the chicken also lacked the rich, fragrant chicken flavor you would expect from Hainan chicken rice. The ginger sauce, though, was very good. The dish that saved the day was the char kway teow. It had just the right amount of char, the rice noodles were smooth, and the flavor was on point. It would have been even better if the sambal had been stir-fried together with the noodles instead of being served on the side.
tried this place for houston restaurant week! $39 for three courses and we enjoyed everything for the apps, the kerabu prawns were my favorite. the sweet and tangy mango papaya slaw was balanced out really nicely by the crunchy peanuts, which cut through some of the sweetness. the roti was flaky and nicely done, but nothing particularly memorable for the entrees, the beef rendang and malaysian chicken curry were similar in flavor profile, but i preferred the beef since the braising made it more tender whereas the chicken was pretty dry. i really really enjoyed the potatoes in both dishes! the chili prawns had some of the same sweet and tangy flavors as the kerabu prawns. the scrambled eggs were a great touch, adding a creamy, velvety element that mellowed out the dish. it felt like a more thoughtful take on the westernized asian sweet and sour stir fry. unfortunately, there was no spice at all, not even a hint of chili :( the cheesecake and tiramisu we chose for dessert were both yummy, although i wish they offered some malaysian sweets instead of more generic dessert options service was fantastic and attentive throughout the entire meal. that being said, while im glad i finally got to try phat eatery, the prices are a little steep for the portions. i also expected to be amazed considering their awards, but it was good at best, so i dont think id go out of my way to come back.
We stopped by Phat Eatery on our way back from San Antonio (we live in the loop so Katy is "far" for us ). Parking is challenging since there are so many stores near each other, but we found a spot at the back of the parking lot in front of the grocery store. Our server was great, very helpful with recommendations. Food was super tasty! Would definitely recommend the roti canai, Hainanese chicken, & beef rendang!

I wish I could give Phat Eatery a 10/10 because that's truly what they deserve. The food here is phenomenal and some of the most authentic Malaysian food I've had. Every time I come here, I'm reminded how special it is when a restaurant truly cares about quality and flavor. My absolute favorite dish is the pineapple fried rice with shrimp, it's packed with flavor and perfectly cooked every time. I also love the honey basil wings, which are seriously addictive. Another must-order for me is the roti with chicken curry. The roti is soft and flaky, and the curry is incredibly rich and comforting without being overly spicy, which I really appreciate. It's my fave!! The drinks are great, the prices are very reasonable, and everything on the menu feels thoughtfully prepared. It's honestly getting harder these days to find restaurants that consistently serve food with this much care and authenticity, but Phat Eatery absolutely delivers. I could probably eat here every day, that's how much I love their food. If you're in Houston "Katy" and love Malaysian cuisine (or just amazing food in general), this place is a must. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, so many options, and they had a great lunch menu for Monday-Fridays. Last but not least, our waitress was so sweet and nice! We ordered the following: Roti Canai - The roti is soooo good! Thin and flakey, but still pillowy and soft. Served with a curry like sauce but light on the curry flavor, just very savory. The sauce wasn't curry like though.. it was kinda gloopy. Didn't love the gelatinous texture of the sauce, but the roti itself, fire. Char Kway Teow (lunch portion) - Lunch portion is perfect for one if this is all you're eating. Perfect for 2-3 if you have other dishes to share. It's basically a dry chow fun, except they add in sweet Chinese sausage. They had like 3 shrimps in this lunch dish too, so not stingy at all with the protein. I liked the smokiness but I do wish they had sriracha or a spice rack as I like my foods a little spicy. I didn't ask for it though, so it's possible they do have spicy condiments. Sizzling Beef (lunch portion) - Portion size same as above. This is a very savory dish, border line a little salty for me. The presentation is real cute. They bring out a hot cast iron plate, with red onions on it, and then they spoon the beef entree from a metal container onto the cast iron so that it starts to sizzle. A little extra for sure, but it adds to the ambiance so I appreciate that effort. The bell peppers and onions were so sweet and helped to balance the sauce. The beef was nice and tender! Beef Rendang - This dish is the main reason why I chose to visit. This is only on the main dinner menu and yes it's a bit pricey, but it's a large portion and the dish is cooked well. It's basically a dry curry stew, as the curry notes are fairly strong. This is typically cooked with coconut milk but the coconut notes were very mild. While I did call it a stew, its not saucy. The beef was nice and tender but a little dry on some piece, and the potatoes in the dish held their shape nicely. They left some fat on the beef (I get it, fat is flavor) but I personally don't like that squishy texture in my meat. This is a dish worth ordering, especially if you've never had it, as it's flavor profile is quite unique. Idk if a pot of rice comes automatically or if it's because we ordered the beef rendang which is a dinner dish or what. But everyone had a pot of rice on the table from the looks of it, so it may be safe to say it comes with all entrees. They give you a real hefty serving of rice too, which is appreciated cause my BF eats hella rice lol When we packed our food to go, the server asked if wanted to pack the rice and I let her know we actually finished it. She was kind enough to give me a whole to go box of rice as well. Sooooo sweet! I made sure we ate all our leftovers too! I'm from the Bay (California) and tbh Malaysian/Indonesian food is kinda hard to find and the places that do serve it are super far from me. I was so stoked to find such a nice restaurant that not only served some of my favorites but served them WELL. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and wanting something different from your usual Asian eats.
Phat Eatery in Katy has become my go‑to spot, especially since it's so close to work. The food is consistently amazing, and the Hainanese chicken is my absolute favorite: perfectly tender, deboned, and served with three great sauces. They're especially generous with the ginger, which I love. The roti canai is always soft and comforting, perfect for dipping. Reliable, delicious, and super convenient, I can't ask for more!
A restaurant that's a James Beard finalist should blow me away and although Phat Eatery was good, it didn't necessarily wow me. The beef rendang was recommended online, but I wouldn't get it here. The meat was in large chunks and very tough, not ideal for a dish that's supposed to be cooking for hours until tender. The roti canai was standard and the chicken flat noodles was the best dish of the meal (could taste the wok hei as Cantonese people would say). The milk tea was similar to a HK milk tea. There were three open tables yet my party of two was told to wait and we waited for 20 minutes. Will try again in the future and choose different dishes.
I wanted to treat myself to a great weekend meal and stopped by Phat Eatery, which did not disappoint! It admittedly started off a bit oddly. I entered around 3pm on a Sunday and the hostess was reluctant to give me a table and insisted on the bar, despite my visibly seeing at least 3 tables open just from where I was standing. I'm understanding of smaller venues with limited tables, I mean I lived in NYC, but when you have a paying customer in front of you, there are open tables and a request for one, and it's not a peak time, I mean come on where's the hospitality! After they called the manager, I did get a table (the one in front of me never filled up either, not exactly a busy time). Luckily, the food did make up for it. My server was friendly too and made good recommendations, although sadly the Beef Rendang wasn't nearly ready to serve. I suppose I'd have to come back for dinner sometime. I got a Lychee Sunrise to start, which was fantastic. It was too early for me to start drinking alcohol, so this worked fine. The Roti Canai with chicken curry for dipping was tasty, with the former being super flaky and delicious. The chicken in the curry was boneless, but they could've done a better job removing the skin and tendons. The curry was on the sweeter side, which worked well as a dipping sauce. The Har Gau (soft shrimp dumplings) were made fresh and delicate. It came with mustard for dipping, which was new to me, but worked very well. Now I was getting a bit overwhelmed, as like in many Asian restaurants, food tends to come out as they're made rather than timed as courses, oop. My Sizzling Tofu entree came with a generous portion of rice, with an amazing garlicy brown sauce (has minced chicken & shrimp, but they do have a vegetarian version) poured table side for that sizzling action. It was so flavorful, lots of depth and very filling. I got mine a bit spicy, which has 5 levels of spice of your choosing. Like a lot of the trendier restaurants and shops here, they do use one of those digital payment systems like Toast which some super high suggested default tips. I thought it was a bit funny as you refill your own water with the bottle they give you, but my server was friendly and gave me a show, so a generous tip was well earned.
Really nice dining experience here at Phat Eatery. This was my first time having Malaysian food and how server was great at explaining the menu and giving recommendations. The Roti Canai with Curry Chicken Dip appetizer was amazing. Our absolute favorite of our dining experience. The Hainanese Chicken I was told is a signature dish here. It was good but I wasn't blown away by it and it wasn't bad enough to take a point away. The restaurant itself was very clean and is really cute and it has a very street vendor vibe. I definitely recommend.
This time, we ordered off their usual menu with some out of town friends. We ordered sizzing tofu, roti with two curries (beef was off menu), Hokkien noodles, beef rendang. I ordered a pandan colada for myself. I would get this drink again. It's amazing. Back to the food. This was all good for four people near closing time. Everything amazing. I would order this set again. The beef rendang does have a slight kick to it. No shrimps in this menu set because one of us has a shrimp allergy which they great accommodated for us. Tofu is a favorite! Roti was super stuff and tasty. Our server was very sweet and was actually the one who told us about the beef curry that was off menu to try with the roti. The place was clean and easy on the eyes. Parking is free and out front.
The chili prawn reminded me a lot of Singapore chili crab style sauce at Jumbo Seafood. Really well made. Roti is excellent - crispy hot and flaky. I would maybe eat it with the Beef Randang over the chicken curry they give. But all in all, excellent lunch experience.
First thing I noticed was how great our waiter was. She was super attentive but not pushy. The food is great. Roti was buttery. The beef was tender. I had the flat noodles with shrimp, sausage, and calamari and it was super good. Noodles worth cooked. I did ask for the special hot sauce to add some spice because it had absolutely none. It was a wonderful Wednesday lunch at Phat Eatery. It wasn't crowded and food came out fast. Both Curry Lassa and Malaysian Curry Chicken tasted good. Service was good too. The portions were a tad small in my opinion. read more

Came in right before peak hours and there was no wait. We ordered a number of items, each with its own unique flavor and so delicious! The roti is a must try. It's flaky, buttery, and the curry dip was superb. The calamari was crispy, chewy, and was filled with such good flavor with a nice little spicy kick. The Hainan chicken itself had no flavor, as it wasn't salted, but it was doused in sesame oil. You needed to rely on the sauces. I appreciated the pandan essence in the rice that came with it though. The beef rendang was so tender and flavorful. Top tier dish! The noodles were soft and chewy, though the dish overall was a little salty and oily. Service was fantastic. The waitress even turned down the AC because it was freezing. The ambiance was nice with lots of street signs as decor and the food came out fast. Must try Malaysian eatery! read more
We discovered this place during our visit to Houston for the holidays, and since we regularly get the craving for some good authentic Malaysian food, we thought this place would be perfect for us. Located in a pretty new looking shopping center, this place wasn't too hard to find amongst the many Asian restaurants here, as the sign outside is large, bold, and quite prominent. What is hard to find, however, is a parking spot, as we came on a Sunday, right around 1pm, and the place was crazy packed. Expect to drive around for a bit, keeping an eye out for any openings or people leaving, and go for it! As for this restaurant, it has a pretty modern, fun, albeit a little gimmicky interior decor with lots of various signs you'd find around Malaysia hanging from the ceiling. Service was pretty good....however, the guy attending to us seemed a bit hurried, impatient, and seemed somewhat frustrated at our questions about the menu....ok, not the most friendly, but it got a bit better as the crowd slowly emptied out. It was actually our mother who loves and misses Malaysian food, and as such, she ordered as many familiar dishes as she could......the Roti Canai with a curry dip (basically the chicken curry without the chicken), Salt & Pepper Calamari, Chicken and Beef Satay (skewers), Hokkien Mee, Curry Laksa, Sizzling Tofu, Ikan Bakar (grilled golden pomfret), Malaysian Chicken Curry, Sizzling Tofu, Beef Rendang (supposedly "award winning"),and the Curry Vegetable Casserole. Our mother didn't enjoy the curry laksa at all ....especially as they don't use the authentic style tofu....so, she just took one bite of it and never left it for good. In fact, my mother said that she wasn't happy with the whole meal at all because it didn't taste the least bit "authentic." I somewhat agree with her in that the flavors were not authentic in that they are considerably toned down.....the good thing I felt was that the food was not salty. My favorite dish of all would have to be the Ikan Bakar...the Chicken Satay was actually very good, but the peanut dipping sauce was so starchy!.....totally unnecessary! The Hokien Mee was actually my chosen by me and it wasn't too bad at all.....tasted good, but that portion was so tiny! In fact, the portion sizes of all the dishes were tiny, and at these high prices, one would really expect the portions to be a bit more generous. In summary, not a bad attempt at some pretty decent high-priced, small portion-sized Malaysian food. The dishes tastes good as long as you're not too fussy about the less than authentic Malaysian food, or don't know what authentic Malaysian food dastes like.....the food here is not bad.....and will likely be considered pretty good for those who have never tried real Malaysian cooking, or who just want something as close to it as possible as this is all that's available around these parts. read more

Delicious Malaysian restaurant, fast service, clean interior, friendly staff and delicious meals. The flavors are deep and fresh. The curry at spicy level 3 (out of 5) was ideal for the Roti appetizer. Very clean restaurant. Parking might be tough and you might need to wait. Went today on 8/23/25 Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning. read more
Came here on a Saturday night for early dinner. They were super accommodating on seating us. We ordered a bunch of dishes. They were tasty. Was looking forward to the award winning beef but found the beef was a little dry. The curry sauce was on point though. Also ordered the roti canai appetizer-- the curry sauce was a little goopy, and I prefer it a little runnier. The millionaires fried rice and hainanese chicken were delicious. Portions are very generous. The decor was cute. They have a variety of cute signs hanging from the ceiling. The dining area is large and can accommodate large parties. The table tops were a little dirty ; by that I mean they look like wooden tables with a coat of paint on top so the surface is uneven. You can see dark/dirt on it and I wasn't too sure if that was sanitary. read more
Phat Eatery is the first Malaysian restaurant I've been to and it did not disappointed. We went here for Houston's restaurant week and ordered the Kerabu Prawns, Roti Canai, Beef Rendang, and Hainanese Chicken. Overall, everything was delicious and the best dishes were the Kerabu Prawns and Beef Rendang. Even though they were crowded, they were able to seat us and served us quickly. It was a bit loud inside since there were a lot of people. read more

Decided to come here for houston restaurants weeks and it did not disappoint. We go the roti, calamari, sweet basil beef, and the beef rendang. The food was pretty kinda pricey but I thought everything was delicious! Service was great. Came here on Saturday night and it was pretty full but we were seated within 5 minutes. read more
Honestly, I was not impressed. The food was ok and definitely not worth the price. We tried the $16 prawns , the curry noodles soup (it needed salt), the beef with noodles (barely had noodles--I'm not a big beef eater), the roti curry dip, the tofu (that was my favorite), and the pandan drink was sooooo sweet I gagged and didn't try a 3rd sip. Service was great. Definitely not coming back unless they bring back the curry crawfish which is what we wanted to try. read more

We stopped by for lunch earlier today and it just so happens to be HRW month. I've been before but my husband has not. The HRW menu was perfect for the both of us. We ended up splitting an HRW order and that was plenty for us. See photos of everything we got for $39.99. Dishes in the order it was served: 1) Roti Canai w/ Beef Rendang - I love this stuff and could be happy eating only this. The roti was warm and has a nice flaky texture when you tear it. The curry dipping sauce is their usual one but with beef rendang added to it. I was told this is only on the HRW menu. Flavor was good and similar to what I remember as beef rendang. The sauce is on the thicker side, similar to a gravy. That's different for me. I usually prefer it more runny. My husband loved it though. 2) Satay Skewers - Love that this was mix with both chicken and beef. Both were tasty in flavor. The meat had a good soft, chewy texture too. The peanut dipping sauce was delicious. 3) Chili Prawn - Good size prawns and a chili sauce that reminds me of Singaporean chili crab sauce. There were bits of eggs, onions, and chili in it. I'm a bit more sensitive to heat so definitely felt the kick from the chili. We got a good size portion along with a container of rice. This was when I was happy we only did one HRW order. This portion alone was a good size. Ambiance was good - Casual with a street like flair to it. Waitress was quick and responsive. We would come back again. There is also a Woodlands location so hope that is just as consistent as this one. read more
Overall good food- roti canai crisp and perfect, beef rendang award winning of course I would recommend, chili prawn can work on it be a little more savory (the sweetness was a little overpowering), sizzling tofu yum. The roti and satay skewers were really good. The roti had good texture and good flavor with the sauce. The skewers were tender and seasoned well. The Hainanese chicken was a bit dry and the texture was not best. It wasn't terrible, but wasn't very good either. The dishes include a large pot of rice, which was tasty. read more
First of all, the interior is cute and different. So you feel like you stepped into a different world. It reminds of Asian night market streets! On top of that, you have great food there. Many options for you. We loved all of our dishes. If you like spicy, try with their house special hot sauce! It's the best! Tastes great and really enjoyed! I love their milk tea too. Super rich and creamy :) Service was great. Our waitress was great, she understands what we want. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

Phat Eatery offers hefty meals that are full of flavor and substance. I came here and ordered the Roti Canai, Mee Gorang, and Hainanese Chicken for 2. The Roti was an amazing appetizer. Served with a warm and robust curry, this crisp Roti was a great way to start our meal. The Mee Gorang serving was huge. It came out very saucy and rich and at a couple bites in, I was loving it. Eventually though, the saltiness of the sauce-drenched noodles become a little overbearing and I found myself eating less of it. The star of the show was the Hainanese Chicken. The skin on the chicken was really savory and the 3 sauces that came with it complemented the strong fatty flavor of the chicken. It also came served with a giant pot of a super fragrant pandang rice that elevated the dish ever further. This chicken really does just melt in your mouth. The inside of the restaurant is sleek and clean, with beautiful utensils and comfortable seating. Service was quick and the atmosphere was inviting. I left Phat Eatery very satisfied with my meal (and with a ton of leftovers) 8/10! read more

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night and were able to get a table within 10 minutes of arriving even though the restaurant was pretty packed. It's a pretty big space with lots of tables and a good amount of bar seating as well. Our waitress greeted us right away, took our drink and appetizer orders, and the food and drinks came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Malay Iced Milk Tea and the Pineapple Ginger to drink, Roti with Chicken Curry Dip to start, and the Malaysian Chicken Curry and Beef Rendang for entrees. The Malay Milk Tea was delicious - strong black tea flavor, creamy and sweet from the condensed milk. The Pineapple Ginger was light and refreshing. The Roti was light and flaky. The Chicken Curry Dip had a good amount of meat and good flavor. The texture was very smooth, but as the dish cooled, it turned a bit gummy. Not sure what made it have this texture, but I'm guessing it was supposed to be thick so it would cling to the roti. The Malaysian Chicken Curry entree didn't do this and the texture was a lot lighter than the dip. The Beef Rendang and the Green Beans were the standouts of the meal. The beef was so tender and the flavor was excellent. Green beans were fresh and crisp and were coated with a light garlic sauce. All the portion sizes were huge and we ended up taking a lot of leftovers home. They even gave me the rest of my Milk Tea to-go in a sealed cup, which I really appreciated. After reading up on the place, I learned that the chef was a semi-finalist for a James Beard Award in 2022. The restaurant is still super affordable and low-key/casual, which is nice because you get to enjoy really amazing Malaysian cuisine that is very authentic and accessible at a good price-point. Definitely will be coming back. read more
Every time we come here we are never disappointed. We arrived before the rest of the family and the servers got the booster chair and a kids water already ready. Highlight: Roti Canai, Satay Skewers, Hainanese Chicken-Half (Served W/ Pandan Fragrant Rice), and Malay Iced Milk Tea Roti Canai tasted nice, fresh, and flaky in a moist way. The sauce was almost room temperature and thick but had a good taste. Got the beef and chicken skewers which were very well seasoned and tender but were warm in temperature. Huge portions of the chicken and rice for such a good price. The chicken wasn't very tender and overall the dish was warm, I did like the rice. The iced milk tea had a unique aftertaste that I wasn't used to so I wasn't a big fan. Hospitality: Hosts were friendly and our server was attentive and nice. Honorable Mention: Lots of seating and the interior makes you feel like you're in the streets of a night market. read more
Been to phat eatery once in the past, and it was just as good as I remembered it to be! We came later in the evening and were seated quickly. Parking wasn't terrible either since we arrived after peak dinner time. The favorite dish of the table was the SIZZLING TOFU. Tofu was soft, and the sauce was amazing- could literally just eat it straight from the spoon. The hainanese chicken was okayyyy. The chicken was a bit on the tougher side. It came with fragrant rice, which didn't taste much different from the white rice, and 3 sauces which also didn't seem to have a stark difference in flavors. The green beans were great. They had a pronounced garlic flavor, and they had a nice crunch to them. They weren't floppy or extra soggy. The ck teow tased like an ordinary flat noodle dish. Nothing too special about it but still yummy! The sizzling beef had a magical sauce poured on top like the tofu. The meat was soft and tender, and the sauce was delightful. I was scooping vegetables at the end and just eating it with the sauce lol! Overall, my friends and I had a very fine dining experience here. We did family style. For 5 plates, the 6 of us paid around $25 individually, and I believe that was including tip. Service was average. The vibes of the place were chill! read more

For our drive back to San Antonio, Katy was a stopping point for lunch so we thought to try Hubby had seen this restaurant and chef featured by Tanji Patton. We realized after coming home that during our first visit, they were closed for the celebration of life of Chef Alex Au-Yeung, who passed away recently from a battle with cancer. We had long visited Banana Leaf, a restaurant in Houston Chinatown and another restaurant he owned. Hubby had Prickly Pear & Melon drink and I had Pineapple Ginger drink. Dad didn't care for either one. I was excited to see Roti Canai on the menu. I had not had that since my backpacking days in Malaysia. So so good! We had the Award Winning Kerabu Prawn, which was tasty. We then shared the Beef Hor Fun and Billionaire Fried Rice. Everything was fantastic! No wonder the chef was 2022 James Beard semi-finalist for Texas's Best Chef Award. read more

This place is located in a relative new Asian mall in the Katy area. Based on the average glowing reviews, we were excited to try it out as us Singaporeans and Malaysians are always looking for good, authentic cooking from our home countries. Here's what we ordered: * Roti - The roti itself was nice, flaky and lightly crisp on the edges. Pretty authentic. However, the curry dipping sauce that came with it was a total disappointment... it had very little curry flavor and was just a starchy glue like consistency. * Satay - We got the combo with 3 sticks of chicken and 3 sticks of beef. I liked it. Good lemongrass flavor, decent satay peanut sauce. * Salt & Pepper Calamari -- It was a decent dish. Calamari had a medium batter, good crisp. Good flavor, but nothing authentically Malaysian about it. * Beef Rending -- Nice tender chunks of beef in a thick coconut curry sauce. Good, but not much better than the one I make at home with a good cut of beef and the Singaporean Prima Spice Mix from Ranch 99. * Chicken Curry -- Flavor wise this was good, but my Mom did not like it being boneless and much of the chicken falling apart more like a stew. * Hokkien Mee -- Thick udon like egg noodle in a dark soy sauce with chicken & seafood. It was decent, but not as authentic without the fried pork lard bits and hot wok char ("wok hei"). * Sizzling Tofu -- Soft tofu cubes deep fried with a light batter (like Japanese Agedashi Tofu) in a sauce with minced chicken & shrimp, served in a sizzling hot pan. Good choice. * Curry Laksa -- Yellow egg & rice noodles in a light coconut curry soup with shrimp, chicken, tofu, and bean sprouts. It was a good rendition, but my Mom was disappointed they didn't use the right fried tofu in the dish. * Curry Vegetable Casserole -- Mushroom, green beans, tofu & egg plant in a curry sauce. Ok. * Ikan Bakar -- Whole pomfret (fried? and) grilled in banana leaf with sambal (chili shrimp paste) sauce. Nice crisp edges, fresh fish, tasty sambal. Probably our favorite dish of the meal. Overall, I thought most of the dishes were good. If you haven't had authentic Malaysian or Singaporean cuisine, and don't mind paying some elevated prices, this would be a good preliminary introduction. Definitely pricey for the portion sizes. Pretty good! I'm willing to come back to try more of the menu since my first visit didn't blow me away. It's a standard dining experience with kind servers and quick service. I started with the roti chenai which was absolutely perfect. Then we shared the rendang and laksa. The laksa was okay, I found the broth a bit bland. The rendang was really really nice! I heard I should try the curries here so I'll give that a shot next time. read more

Took my dad here for his birthday, and we splurged. I absolutely loved it. I got the passion dragon and it was SO GOOD. It was heavy on the maca root but it was incredible. My dad got their coconut espresso martini... and then got two more. It was "incredible" by his definition. The star of the show: roti canai. We got three orders and one to go just because we loved it. the one downfall: (I can't find it on the menu) but it was rice with meat in it, cold. Neither of us were a fan. The siu mai was impeccable, as was the mango chicken and the sambas chicken. Overall, food, 4/5 Service was SO good. They didn't have any dessert there, so I asked the manager and he gave me an incredible recommendation for dessert down the street and it also did not disappoint. Stopped in for lunch with some friends. We were sat immediately, and the server provided many recommendations. We ordered the satay skewers mixed and roti canai to start. We also got the sizzling beef black pepper level 3 spicy. If you're not up for heat, I suggest level 1 if you're a heat lover like me. 3 is perfect, and the onions and peppers mixed in are top tier. The beef was tender and seasoned well. The roti came out warm and fluffy. I'd you've never had roti. I'd compare it to a lighter version of a croissant, but better! The sauce that comes with the satay has a nice peanut flavor. Whether you want seafood, beef, chicken noodles rice, or vegetarian, their menu has something for you. They're reasonably priced, and the food was fresh and came out quick. read more
