My issue is with the service and billing. The staff are pretty reserved, which I understand, but on more than one visit I've noticed extra items added to my order. The first couple of times I thought maybe I was mistaken, but I started paying closer attention and noticed things like two of the same pastry or another small item being added. They do ask you to review the order before paying, but if you only glance at it, something like that can be easy to miss. Technically, once you approve it, it becomes your responsibility, but I shouldn't have to carefully audit my order every time to make sure nothing extra was added. The other issue is the boba toppings. Some of the menu photos show things like gummies or Oreo pieces on top, but those toppings cost extra. That isn't made clear when ordering. If you ask why the drink doesn't look like the picture, you're then told the toppings are an additional charge. The food is genuinely good, but these little things add up and leave a bad impression. I don't like feeling like I have to watch the transaction closely to avoid unexpected charges. It comes across as sneaky, and because of that I probably won't be coming back.
