Heard about this place from a coworker. I love adding a new coffee spot to my list. The area the food trucks are in is very cozy. If I lived close, I could see myself walking over for coffee on a regular. I ordered the Dulce de Nuez and the husband got a chai latte. Both were pretty good.

I love supporting amazing women-owned businesses like Southbound Coffee! They are located in the Southtown area, inside the same lot as Rosas Kitchen. I was there to get some breakfast tacos from Rosas and decided to also explore this new business. They have a small but mighty menu with some of the classics, but since it was my first time I decided to ask the owner for recommendations. She suggested the Dirty Horchata Latte, which I added an extra shot of espresso for an extra kick of caffeine. The latte was absolutely delicious and not too sweet, which was exactly what I was looking for. Give this small business a chance next time you are in the Southtown area!

The cutest little trailer. I saw them on instagram and saw they weren't too far from me and had to check them out. I have been twice and I have tried (2) different coffees from the February specials menu and they were both so good. Can't wait to try more!

Coffee was average and nothing special. Service was good and as expected. The area is small but I ended up going to my car and head home. It was a bit cold and windy. May come back again, if in the area.

Talk about cute feminine vibes! I love it I love it so much!! I love horchata but drinking a coffee Horchata it's so much better. I am definitely coming back at least once every other week to come get this coffee, my husband, who is very picky with his coffees said that's one of the best caramel macchiato she's ever had and my daughter devoured the homemade pop tart and if you follow me on Yelp, you know we are a homemade pop tart connoisseurs! Please come and show them some love!

Cute duo food and drink trucks nearby . We enjoyed our lavender lattes. I think I prefer the hot latte as the foam on top was a dream. Drinks take a minute so go ahead and put in your order with Rosa's kitchen for some breakfast tacos.Loved supporting woman owned businesses in March as any other day. Careful with the seating and tables we almost fell about two times.

I tried the dirty Horchata latte, 20 oz ($6.77). I like the flavor! The barista said it was spiced with almond and cinnamon. They have no prices on their menus, which I think is very interesting. Nearly $7 for a drink (16 oz would have been around $6.20) is a little steep in my opinion. Maybe their other coffee choices are a more reasonable price. The service was fast on a Tuesday morning. It's right next to Rosa's kitchen, a food truck selling tacos. There is free 15 minute parking right next to the lot, which is really convenient.

I love this coffee truck!! I had a dirty horchata and it was so yummy! I also tried my friend Mexican vanilla latte with their homemade sauce and it was so good. Such a cute coffee truck with really nice & cool employees. This is one of those hidden not so hidden gems but it's definitely a coffee truck try. There's some like picnic tables around if you want to sit and chat.

Dirty chai was perfect and not cloyingly sweet. Buttons for sale for $1 coffee themed. I ordered and turned around and it was ready.

Southbound coffee is located in Southtown in a flamboyant pink coffee trailer; adjacent to Dos Sirenos Brewing on E Cevallos street. Outside of this establishment there are a few tables and chairs for you to enjoy your beverage if you'd like. Every time I've been the ladies have been so sweet and personable. One of my go-to items when I stop by is a Mexican vanilla iced latte that I love! Throughout the year they bring out seasonal menus with unique flavors and those have been a hit with me. If you aren't in the mood for coffee they also offer hot tea, hot chocolate, matcha and chai. They also get pastries outsourced from cake thieves I believe and they have really good pastries, most, if not all are vegan options. I've seen them out in the community on first Friday operating from their Mobile Espresso Cart, which is cool. I can't wait to go back so I can try more of the seasonal drinks for February! Peace.

This place is so cute! I will say the ambiance is Better than the coffee. I had the dirty horchata and it was good, a bit watered down or not too sure if the horchata is a powder mix vs homemade. The 2nd time I went I had the Noche buena and I did not like it at all... it was over powered by anise and I could not enjoy it. I would still give them another shot perhaps try something else!

I really love this coffee cafe, located in the Hemisfair district of San Antonio. I spent time here…read moretwice. Formerly a house, the interior of this cafe has a serene feel inside with comfortable seating. There is also seating on the front porch and a huge backyard patio deck. You order at the counter, which is right when you walk in the front door. Your order is brought to your table, wherever you may be sitting. On my first visit I had a croque monsieur, a deli ham and melted cheese sandwich with béchamel sauce between toasted bread. It was delicious and was served with potato chips. I also got a hot vanilla latte, served in a mug, which was absolute perfection. One thing I liked was the absence of laptop campers. I only spotted one on both of my visits. People come here to quietly socialize or just take a break from life for a few minutes. My second visit was mainly to get another one of those fantastic vanilla lattes but I also chose a chocolate croissant from their pastry case. The croissant, served on a nice dish, was fresh, flakey, and full of chocolate. I sat, relaxed, and felt like things didn't get much better than this.

Commonwealth Coffee was good, but not the best coffee experience I've had. The interior itself is…read morevery clean and has plenty of space inside to sit and relax, which I appreciated. However, parking was difficult and not very convenient. The coffee was good and smooth, but nothing that really stood out. It was solid quality, just not something I'd go out of my way for. One thing that surprised me was the price. My latte was listed at $7, but with all the extra charges for add-ons it quickly became $9+, which felt a bit pricey even coming from Chicago where coffee can already be expensive. What really affected the rating for me was the service speed. It was probably the slowest coffee service I've experienced. I waited about 15 minutes for two lattes, and there was only one other person ahead of me. For a simple order, that felt like a long time. Overall, it's a nice café with a clean, spacious atmosphere and decent coffee, but the pricing and slow service make it somewhere I'd visit occasionally rather than regularly.
