Quietly hidden from the hustle and bustle of the Pearl, Drippys Coffee sits nearby a bodega, Naco's, and a couple of other trucks (including Dorp!). I picked Drippys Coffee on a whim, since I'm on a quest to try and rate every cortado in the city. I came at a good time, as a line started to form after I placed my order. The folks running the trailer were really nice, and when I ordered my earl grey tea, I asked them what they thought would be a good flavor addition. (He said vanilla syrup for a touch of sweetness, and I think they also added extra earl grey syrup, which they make themselves!) And you know what? It tasted exactly like fruity pebbles! Weird, but cool! I also ordered the cortado, and it came in a tiny cup. Adorable. It was delicious and was just the right viscosity, not watery. It was the definition of Tiny but Mighty. The public seating area allowed me to sit and enjoy the scenery, and watch the patrons with their dogs come and go. A very peaceful visit. read more

Try it out! I've only ever tried matcha once. It was at a random cafe in La cantera and I didn't like it. 4 years later I decided to give Matcha a second try here at Drippys coffee. The barista recommended the Earl Gray Matcha. My husband ( also his first matcha) for the strawberry guava matcha. Mine was great! I'd order again and am looking forward to my next visit. Mhmm! Yummy 10/10, I'm not a matcha girly but I really wanted one today. I decided to finally try this coffee spot, I got the matcha with earl grey syrup so good!!! The service was great I asked for recommendations and the baristas were helpful in explaining everything. The truck is also just too cute, it's in a relaxing area with a couple more food trucks. There's a seating area too. Parking is along the road but it was not hard to find a spot. read more

My daughter loves Drippy's, so when visiting SA, we had to stop by. They have a cute little spot near the Pearl that shares a common outdoor space with a yummy taco shop. The owner is so sweet, and there were a lot of regulars and neighbors, and she knew everyone's name. They have a selection of classic coffee drinks, but also have seasonal options. I went with their seasonal lavender honey latte. It was delicious and not too sweet. We sat at one of the tables, and the owner came over to make sure everything was good. Love the service here! Meghan and Dom definitely have something special with Drippy's- it's an absolute gem and a must visit anytime your in the area....or just whenever you get a whim. Their current seasonal offerings include the pumpkin maple latte and the spiced apple cold brew. When I say this is the most difficult decision anyone would have to make on any given morning, I'm not kidding. I would prefer to walk away with one of each. The spiced apple is the epitome of fall flavors. Reminiscent of fall festivals and apple picking (if we lived up north). The pumpkin maple is like a liquid pumpkin pie. It's phenomenal. Previous seasonal offerings include the pollinator, peach, and coconut ginger lime. I will not even try to decide on which is my favorite because it's just impossible! But to mention the fact that they just make a perfect cup every time. You don't even need flavors, that's just the bonus. Do yourself a favor and check them out for yourself. read more

Matcha was really good. At first, I was unsure of the earl gray matcha, then as I kept drinking the flavors were phenomenal. I would definitely get it again. The blueberry matcha was also good, flavor is mild but good. The husband and wife running the truck are sooooooo sweet, they really make an effort to make your experience even better. The area the coffee truck is located in is very cute, a few other food trucks there. read more

I went here one day because I saw that some more established coffee places I knew of were supporting this one, Drippy's. If it were for Yelp only, I don't think I would be able to discover this place, given all the other places that would cover up its existence. When I arrived I was looking around for the place and realized it was this tiny truck/trailer on the side of a place called Sippy's, which serves alcoholic drinks, rather than coffee. Drippy's is seemingly secluded because of the road it's on, but the section it is in is awesome because there is a whole area where there is not only Sippy's, but also Naco, a place with killer tacos, and also a very cool VW Beetle. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, for it was quite hot outside, and in the process of it being made, I engaged in a friendly conversation started by the barista. I then figured out that Drippy's was started as a husband and wife thing, which was wholesome to me, when put into comparison with some bigger coffee places with baristas that have no connection to the place they work at besides... well, working there. At the time of visiting there was actually only one other full time barista, but there were also part time ones. As for the latte, it was not too sweet which is always nice and it was refreshing. read more
