Love me some Mila Coffee! While visiting San Antonio, Texas, I decided to stop at Mila Coffee and get their Mexican vanilla latte... It's a smooth blend of Mexican vanilla steamed with milk and a touch a cinnamon. This coffee was so enjoyable to drink. In addition, I purchased a bacon, egg and cheese taco. Of course the taco was made with a homemade tortilla...pretty standard fare in San Antonio. Totally miss homemade tortilla... My server and the barista were super personable and helpful. Coffee is delicious and consistent. Service can be very slow, but always kind and professional. This morning, my latte was hot and tasty. I definitely missed the mocha which is so rich and chocolaty, but I'm still on my no sugar kick. Make sure you have plenty of time and enjoy a cup. read more

I've passed Mila coffee a few times and each time it has smelled yummy! I finally made it a point a friend to get coffee. Their menu is simple, which I appreciate. The staff was friendly. I got their cold brew and it was yummy. I like coffee and most times vendor coffees are always to sweet and I rarely taste the coffee. Mila's cold brew coffee was good! Flavorful. Located next to makeready market and Idle beer. This stand alone coffee shop has a little bit for everyone. They are quick, so you won't have to wait too long. I stopped by and got the iced Horchata. They add a shot of espresso in it. it wasn't overly sweet. The guy at the register was friendly. Parking is street parking. If you want to sit down and enjoy your coffee outdoors, you can definitely do so as there are some tables and chairs available. Since it is an outside coffee shop, it is dog friendly. read more

I decided to do an updated review because of their new location at Make Ready Market. I once again had the Mexican Vanilla Latte (iced and with oat milk) and was blown away. The espresso and vanilla were perfectly balanced. This drink had the right amount of sweetness for me. Mila Coffee has truly mastered this popular drink. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The service is always friendly and the coffee is reasonably priced and delicious! We stopped at this little food truck area just to try Mila's coffee. The two guys inside the truck were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I ordered my coffee based upon their recommendation and it was extremely good. I will definitely be going back , no complaints here. If you're in the area off Broadway, I highly recommend stopping in and getting yourself a nice coffee. I want to mention that the barista was extremely handsome , jet black hair, dark eyes. My husband and I stumbled upon this little coffee stand when we stopped by the Make Ready Market to have lunch. We decided to eat outside since we had our cat with us and pets aren't allowed inside. I watched the little coffee stand my entire meal. It is a very popular spot and the service was quick! Even with multiple people ordering, there was never a long wait. After a full meal, I decided I wanted a little iced drink. I decided to get my usual iced chai tea latte. My drink was made in less than a minute. Pricing was reasonable. My chai tea latte was delicious, but I've had better. I would definitely stop by again, if we lived near the area. read more

Such a cute adorable little coffee shop! I was across the street getting tacos at Pete's and I had to stop by for an iced coffee. This place is a cute little building where you walk up and order from their window. They had so many options, that seemed delicious. I opted for the iced caramel latte, and my husband got a cold brew with their Mexican vanilla. We loved our drinks. So yummy, strong, and creamy!! Mila had been one of my mom and I's favorites for years before I moved out of San Antonio. Since returning a few months ago, I've visited the original coffee truck location a few times with my mom. It's been just as good as I remembered, but what really impressed me is the fact that the owner remembered our order as soon as we walked up to the window. This is one of the most popular spots in the city that now also has a second location, yet he still remembered our order. Give them a visit if you haven't already. Stopping at Mila is one of the highlights of a normal Friday for me. The coffee is good and the vibes are just right. Service is mostly quick, if there's not a line. Hands down best coffee truck in Say-Town! I love finding excuses to stop by here for their espresso, cortado, or cappuccino. Simply the smoothest, strongest, and fastest prepared caffeinated beverage around. So good and very tough to beat these coffee beans! The staff is super nice, payment is fast, and oftentimes if you see a line queuing up its not a problem...it moves fast! Tip: Make sure to park across the street from the Broadway News for your parking, as it is typically not allowed in the parking lot next door to the Mila Coffee Truck. read more

Mila is good at their craft! One of the best cups of coffee I've had and iced lattes. Listen to the other reviews the Mexican Vanilla is one of their specialty and it's ABSOLUTELY delicious! They serve it in a little bolsita, which somehow makes it hit even better. Simple, nostalgic, and just cool. It's all tucked inside El Camino, which adds to the whole vibe, string lights, people hanging out, that easygoing outdoor feel where you lose track of time a little.

While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck. "The Earths Best Taco" they say... that's a stretch!

The bacon wrapped chicken was delicious, the sausage was good the steak, was ok, the could have used a better cut of meat. The place is really cool, kid friendly with a playscape. Enclosed area, so the kids stay in the area. Also a full bar, I had a couple of beers. And the best wasn't the Brazilian lemonade.
