This food truck on Broadway is a culinary experience. I would caution that you really have to like spicy food! The Aroy Chick I tasted was very good and very spicy. The attendant was eager to ensure I was pleased with the meal providing amicable service and attention to detail. This chicken is fried super crispy (I liked that very much) and the rub is truly spicy. I was pleasantly surprised with the sauce that accompanied the plate. There is very comfortable eating area in front of the truck. Adjacent parking makes this a more comfortable experience as parking in this area is not abundant. I had not tried Thai food in San Antonio so I truly appreciate Fernanda and team for this invitation!

What an amazing experience we had!! I did not expect for the food truck to be in a food truck park! There was so many amazing fun small businesses to see and explore. The food itself was phenomenal!! The cucumber salad is a must try!! The seasonings of the chicken are exceptional. But because but the chili chicken is spicyyyyyyyy and addicting!!! Thank goodness I bought the Thai tea to help cool me down! We got 3 plates, a side and a drink for a very reasonable price! If you are interested and thinking about please try them out! The ladies working are very helpful as well and they do have a shaded seated area to enjoy the food!

*Voted best food truck in 2023 by SA Current* Located on Broadway just north of the pearl, Aroy Ver is tucked in this small food truck park adjacent from Alamo colleges district. There is a parking lot across from the food truck park along with street parking. It's a shared area between other food trucks so there's ample seating throughout the area (covered and uncovered). During my visit I tried two different dishes: Aroy Chick and Fried Rice, both were savory and packed with flavor. The portions are huge and one plate kept me fed for three days. The Aroy Chick is medium spice level so if you aren't a fan of spicy food you may want to try something else. They do have a small menu, which I prefer. Most of their dishes containing protein is chicken and pork is the other option. They also serve Thai tea and I'd like to try that on my next visit. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 11am-2pm. They accept online orders via clover if you want to pick up. The ladies are so sweet and can't say enough positive things about my experience. The only thing I was disappointed with is they didn't have the pink noodles in stock. I was dying to try that dish but they informed me it's due to supply chain issues. I can't wait to try that dish. Until next time, peace.

Run by a total boss women, they're serving up authentic Thai street food that's bursting with flavor. I devoured their refreshing Thai Lemonade and a plate of their amazing Fried Rice (gluten-free options available, score!). Of Course try the Chicken! Spicy, sweet kick to it!! The rice is to die for !! They are also surrounded by other foods trucks, outdoor seating and cute little shopping experiences. If you love Thai food and supporting local businesses owned by strong women, this is a MUST TRY!

Sorry I didn't take pics of my food before it was all gone, I didn't come up for air until I reached this point with my dessert tea

Grabbed lunch with my co-worker and so glad he suggested this small food truck park. We were undecided, so grabbed wings from the truck across the way. And I was lured in by the big beautiful smile of the young lady at this truck's window. I ordered the fried rice (Khao Pad) and a Thai tea (bag). We chose to share our lunch with each other and Wow! That's all I can say. The wings from the other truck were soooo tasty (perfectly seasoned), sorry I don't know the name of the other truck. But then we tried the rice from Aroy Ver and when I say it was freaking delicious! We only had one fork, my coworker ate his with his hands, yep it was just that good. Initially I thought it was a bit pricey, but then I realized the portion (easily three servings) and the amount of meat...and that delicious flavor...mmm. This experience was well worth the price and that bag of Thai tea was the icing on the cake, thank you for this culinary creativity.

I absolutely love food so I grabbed a few things to try out. We really liked the Thai tea and and chicken skewers. I didn't really like the mango sticky rice, I just don't think they used the right kind of rice. The spring rolls were a little soggy and not crispy.

Don't let the gas station parking lot fool you! This food truck is a hidden gem; mind blowing fresh, piping hot, delicious, and has very generous portions! This has the quality to be a packed out restaurant. My mom, daughter and I went to try them out and figured it might be just like anywhere else, not really having high expectations but boy were we wrong! I'll start with the pad woonsen. When I took it out of the bag the box was super heavy and extra hot! It was packed with glass noodles, chicken breast, onions, scallions, egg, and cilantro. It was like Mary Poppins bag, it just kept going and going and going . . . . I ate from it twice and shared with my husband, that's how much was in there! My daughter got the Beef Massaman Curry, (she is a self proclaiming curry connoisseur) but without the peanuts. The beef was tender and the curry was delicious! The broth/sauce looks a bit more like a stew but had a rich, stick-to-your-ribs heartiness. It was packed with meat and tiny potatoes and served with steamed jasmine rice, which is a perfect pair for anything curry IMO. My mother ordered the Moo Ping (Thai style grilled pork) which to be honest, I wish that pork was an option for the pad woonsen (maybe next time I'll just order this and add it to my noodles as a workaround) my daughter and I were trying to sneak it off her plate! This pork is so rich in flavor, tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. And I really am a harsh critic, I was looking for the flaws, looking for what was wrong, looking for the detail they missed, and it didn't exist. Everything was divine! We all shared the order of AROY'S Rolls which tasted great dipped in the curry! Perfect crispy crunch for added texture to our food. The Thai Tea was refreshing, cold, and absolutely satisfying for a super hot day. It was the perfect drink to wash it all down with. Though it has milk, it is not "creamy" or heavy. It was still very light and refreshing and didn't fill me up as some drinks do. All in all, from beginning to end, from the service to the food, it was excellent! I will be back. Regularly. It's 35 minutes from where I live and totally worth the drive!

Honestly probably the best Thai food I've ever had! It was so so delicious. My boyfriend got the Aroy chick and I got the omelet. The Aroy chick was so crispy and flavorful, and it was a big serving too with lots of rice and chicken! I got the omelet and it was simple but really hit the spot for me. Egg and rice is a staple comfort meal and this dish really elevated it for me. The egg was deliciously seasoned and the sriracha paired perfectly with it. I will definitely be back!

Wow !!! I am so happy I was selected. I literally live in the area & I actually go to the gas station & hair/ nail salon across the street. I also use this particular shell for my gas rewards. Now I saw two food trucks at the gas station but never thought to try them. Well I am happy I did. The lady in the truck was really nice. Service was really quick. The chicken rolls were AMAZING. The Thai tea was also good as well! You guys just landed a new forever customer. I wanted to order everything on the menu but my "diet" did not permit me. xX- I also my treats from Yelp. Thank you so much

This place is a high 4.5! My husband and I love the food here! The omelette and pork belly is delicious! Also their food is spicy enough to meet my cravings. I love coming here on the weekends just to eat their food. Whether it be the curry chicken, omelette, or pork belly dishes, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The rice is steaming hot, the Thai Thea hits the spot on a hot day, and the pork belly is nice and tender and decorated with amazing hot pepper. Visit this food truck when you can because it's worth it! Also if you're worried about the spicy flavors, the ladies will ask you if you want it and can tell you how hot it can make the dish, so no worries there! Also love how hot and fresh the meals come out every time we order!

4.5 stars! I heard so many things about this food truck, I decided to give it a try. It is located near downtown in the Broadway News food truck park. I have never been here so it a little far for me but if the food is good, I don't care. I pull up to the food truck and they have a menu board set up and the offerings look good. I walk over to the window and realize, that I know the owner of the truck. Previously she worked at a Thai restaurant that I would frequent. Before Covid, I was there like every pay day. I went so much that when I called she would already know my order. It was really cool and she always provided great service. I was so happy to see that she branched out on her own. The service is great and the owner gave me some great tips on Asian groceries and cooking while we were talking and catching up. On to the food. I ordered the Aroy rolls, cucumber salad, Aroy bomb, and the pink noodles. I wanted the Pad Woosen that I had heard so much about but she said they don't serve that anymore. That is the only reason for the 4.5 stars. Pad Woosen is one of my favorite dishes so not being able to have it when I get Thai food feels wrong. The Aroy rolls were seasoned, filled and yummy. The Aroy bomb which are pork dumplings are so good. They are fat and flavorful. The dipping sauce that comes with them is perfect. It has fish sauce and other yummy stuff in it. The cucumber salad is nice and cool on a hot day. It does have cilantro in it but it is not overpowering. Last was the pink noodles. It is like Pad Thai with the extra thin noodles. This dish is on the sweeter side so I added the Aroy dipping sauce to cut the sweetness. That made it more enjoyable for me. The portion sizes are huge. I didn't think that when I picked up my order but when I got home and unpacked everything I was amazed. I did not even put a dent in the noodles or Aroy bomb. I have plenty for another meal so that is a great value. They have some pork dishes on the menu that i am excited to try next time. Definitely worth stopping by if you have a chance. I hope that they can bring back the Pad Woosen because I know it will be awesome.

Wonderful Thai food truck located at Broadway news. The Thai tea is the best on a hot summer day. I don't know how they make the chicken but it has the best char grilled flavor. It is served with a homemade sauce that goes perfectly with the chicken and rice. They have online ordering which is more convenient if you don't want to wait. They also accept credit cards.

Because I am on a work trip, I did not have to worry about pricing, but I did think that, although it is the standard, this meal was pretty expensive. It was over $33 but I did add a fried egg and extra chicken. I ordered the Krapo with medium spice and it was perfectly spicy. There was a perfect amount of Thai basil in the dish and it was wet enough for the rice to be a perfect addition. The bell peppers and the onions were absolutely spectacular. Now for the Boba. I ordered a combination of coconut, kiwi and watermelon. I also made sure that I subbed out the milk for coconut water as I cannot tolerate dairy. This Boba smoothie might be the best Boba I have ever had. I will say that the lid is kind of confusing because I do not know if the Thai restaurant makes it or if it is a neighboring restaurant. Regardless, I would be back just for this eight dollar Boba. Upon arriving to the restaurant, there was limited parking and inside it was super crowded. Obviously this is a popular spot and a lot of people ordered delivery through apps. It was kind of chaotic when picking up, but it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant was dark, but it did seem clean. My only grip here is that they must've been so rushed that they did not give me silverware or napkins. I had to beg my hotel to accommodate me.
