Jeniece & JJ gave us some awesome service. I'll come back again because service like this isn't easy to find. The food is great too, famous Philly is solid, I'll have to get a large next time since the regular wasn't enough food. Wonderful kid play area, basketball hoop, playground, cornhole, etc.!

I have been eating Malik's Philly's Phamous Cheesesteak for years. They never fail to deliver quality cheesesteaks! Always loved the outdoor vibe at the Rose Bush but the inside seating is great. If you have never tried it! It's a big must, a 100% best cheesesteak in Texas!

This place was recommended to me by a local person for the best Philly Cheesesteak in San Antonio. I took my son to it. He said it was very good and wants to go back on his next visit to town. Although I don't eat cheese, I tasted some of his meat and it was very tasty.

Found this place back in 2015 when I was flipping houses in the area, and they still have the same quality they did back then. Best cheese steaks I've had in San Antonio. Love that they have Philly Cheese fries, for those times I want a Philly and fries but don't know any all the bread. It's definitely a full meal by itself. Despite the fact that they put all the fixings on top of the fries, the fries are always super crisps!

Saw this on SA Live & thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did! I was prepared to be disappointed bc most cheesesteak places don't live up to expectations. But this sandwich was so delicious I can hardly wait to come back & have it again, though there's lots of choices. We ordered the large Malik & the parm herbed fries & both are large enough to split, probably between 3 people, but we were two and stuffed ourselves! The meat is thin sliced/chopped ribeye, soft, juicy, w virtually no fat or gristle on it. It seemed a double portion of meat, mixed w chopped grilled onions & mushrooms. We ordered w/o green peppers, but usually comes with it. Everything is cut the same size so every bite is a mixture of juicy flavors along with white melted American cheese underneath. The roll is toasted w just the right amount of juice from the meat to make it soft but not mushy. The fries? Perfect combination of herbed Parmesan cheese & hot, crispy hand cut potatoes. Plenty of topping...looked like it had snowed on them. Delicious! We've driven by many times, but given my experience w tasteless stringy fatty cheesesteaks in the past, figured this would be the same. No way! This was the real thing! Definitely planning a return trip soon! Everything is prepared to custom order so food is hot, service is great, and plenty of tables to sit at.

This place used to be t spot to get fresh and hot cheesesteaks and other goodies. Their fries used to be crispy and well seasoned. This wasn't the case on my last visit. The cheesesteak was good, but the kids meal I got for my little one and the side of fries was not. The fries were full of grease and not crispy at all. The hot dog seemed old and the bun was hard. Very underwhelming for $8 kids meal. The side of fries were similar to the greasy ones pictured below. Just be sure to ask for fresh fries if you stop by. Hopefully it was an off day for them, but it was around opening time on a Sunday and they weren't busy.

The vibrancy of this food truck and area is amazing and perfect for nighttime eats! The food is fresh and delicious! They even have little ice cream type of refreshment! The service is quick and respectful. The nighttime is perfect for a little date with the lights on! It's a beautiful spot! They also have other trucks there if you like seafood! Very cool spot! Would definitely recommend to go by! If your a fries lover and of course a fan of Philly cheesesteaks! Not all that pricy either totally worth it!

This Philly cheesesteak place was really good... but the meat is extremely salty!!! But it was still good just very salty.

I don't even know where to start, everything was 10/10. At first I seen the price of the Bacon egg and cheese sandwich and I was a little scared but I was hungry so I got it. Completely worth it! That bread is so fresh the whole sandwich was just perfection. My matcha... again I was planning to try different things this trip but the Miss Honey matcha just did it for me. And I loved the honeycomb in there it was a yummy treat. The staff were nice, friendly and honestly I loved their styles haha. I love the whole concept and vibe of this place, the menus are super cute too and I love all the natural light that comes in from the big windows. They even had a thrift room! I'd be a regular here if I lived in San Antonio!!

Comparing it to places like matcha maiko that serves good quality matcha for a fraction of that price. The sandwiches and salads were OK. I actually thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's the prices that really kill the enjoyment. Over $82 for 2 sandwiches, a salad and 1 drink is so wild to me. That's comparable to a sit down meal with for wait staff. The restaurant next door charges less for a seared pistachio crusted fish with veggies and a soda, for what this place charges for a measly sandwich. I wish this place nothing but the best, but I can't justify spending this much on a drink and sandwich.

What an amazing meal!…read more My fiancé and I swung by for lunch on our way to the Witte and we're so glad that we did. The interior of this place was so unique, the staff were welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Naturally we had to sit in the upstairs dining area just for the novelty of it, and while we didn't have to wait too long for our meal, we had fun playing the trivia card game that was on each table. I ordered the Parmo Pollo Panini with Tomato Basil Soup. The chicken in the Panini was a little dry, but coupled with the Tomato Basil Soup I could hardly tell. While they were delicious together, both were just as tasty on their own. The Panini was a good hearty sandwich, and the Tomato Basil Soup was packed full with delicious spices. I ended up taking up half of both the Soup and Panini to go as the portions were so large. I'm glad we went at the start of lunch rush as it was packed by the time we left. I'd highly recommend W D if you're after a satisfying meal!

This has been our routine more or less every other Saturday for the past five years. So I have somewhere around 130 sandwiches under my belt, and my gifted little Bat-Potato has maybe double that (he loops his momma into the rotation on her weeks). --- Be forewarned that it's peak midlife lunch. By that I mean Tay's doesn't have niceties like an all-you-can-drink Bloody Mary bar. Frankly, I'm not even sure Tay has a liquor license. On the surface, Tay's seems to prioritize the whims of my nine-year-old. But it feels wholesome as fuck. Wholesome like...you'll get an enthusiastic "HI FRIENDS!" on the way in, guaranteed. It's not unlike arriving at a preschool; I love it. Tay's is an order-at-the-counter place. I don't need to order (they've memorized mine), but you probably will, at least the first few times you go. They seem to be pretty good at remembering after that. You would think that 130 sandwiches would have afforded me the luxury of having tasted the entire menu. Nope. I've tried the Make My Tay with whichever jalapeno-infused jelly sounds good, 130 different times now. So I just order a jelly, and they figure the rest out. And, for the record, the Make My Tay is pretty much PB&J perfection. I know cream cheese sounds a little weird, but it's gonna change your world, guaranteed. My Bat-Potato enjoys the Kids Classic with strawberry jam. Untoasted. Actually, please make sure his sandwich has not been placed within 12" of a toaster and try not to glance at the toaster while you make it. So I guess that's a solid option if you are a child or have the palate of one. Our drink of choice is a glass of milk, because again I arrived at a preschool and ordered an upscale elementary school lunch; why not further relive my childhood with some cow juice? The sandwiches are paired with ruffles, or some chips of that sort. You get a generous helping, and the sammys are also substantial. The meals are not inexpensive, but I don't think the owner is making out like a bandit either; for my son and me, the total is around $25 including drinks. The dining area is quaint with four or five small tables and one larger one. The decor is...old west ghost town, maybe? It feels vaguely Old Spaghetti Factory-esque. A wall-sized window overlooks the shopping plaza and McCullough. Wholesome like...you'll get an enthusiastic "HAVE A BLESSED DAY!" on the way out. I don't even much care for blessed days, but for y'all I shall have one. And then we leave. As I meander down the stairs, somewhere around step five, the forcefield ends, and I am no longer in my Elementary School's cafeteria. And my Bat-Potato says, "Race you!"

They made something simple taste so good and it reminds you of your childhood numerous options and very reasonably priced. I had the razz and it was delicious. It's so cost-effective my drink almost cost as much as the sandwich. Would absolutely come back. They are located on the second floor and a ton of parking options Negative: It's not really a negative aspect but there's limited seating because it's so popular Pro tip: It's great to grab and go because there's local parks nearby Recommendation for the owner: I was only in town for a few hours and I saw this on numerous reels. When I went to the website, I wish I would've seen a picture of the sandwiches.
