Krab Kingz is a hit or miss. The last time we ordered a Krab and shrimp boil is was seasoned and so good and buttery definitely 8/10 a HIT. Today's same order was definitely a MISS 3/10 The Krab legs had hardly any meat, and the shrimp was not seasoned or cooked long enough.... The tase was of freezer. I'm super excited to try this Food Truck for the first time. Friendly staff made me feel welcome. I'm getting it To-Go so I can enjoy at home Oh my goodness. I must tell you this is the best I've had in Texas period. Everything was cooked and seasoned to per. I ordered the Cajun spice I can't stop saying how delicious everything is. Lots of it as well. First time at the rose bush and thought we'd try some crabs. Plate large enough to share with another Taste was good (we did Cajun and old bay) With the cost, I would've preferred an additional corn - but I had no issue since I kept the corn. I ordered the two-cluster meal which is $30. Didn't feel like I got $30 worth of food. [pic included] My primary complaint beyond value is everything was overcooked. The crab was a soft and mushy with no flavor like it was boiled instead of steamed. Corn on the cob was nearly cream style corn although flavorful from all the butter and seasonings. Potatoes also overcooked. Also, I got three half-potato pieces. So that's one-and-a-half red potatoes. Potatoes are the least expensive item in the whole meal so why go lean there? It's the most filler for the least cost The sausage link was fine. Although, the meal could be improved by choosing a better quality link. read more

This place was okay. I would give it a 3.5 only because my shrimp was slimey, maybe it was undercooked. Whatever it was I couldn't eat it. My Fran legs were delicious as well as the sausage, corn, and potatoes. I got the medium and all flavors except for honey. Overall the meal was good. read more

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: we decided to drive over have Krab Kingz for lunch. Today's food experience was totally different from my last few times coming here. I didn't have full clusters that were whole, they were pieced together to make a cluster and the quality of the crab was terrible. One of my clusters were tough... not sure if it was because it was a defective crab or if the meat wasn't done. I feel like I basically paid $30 for pretty much a sausage, boiled egg, potato pieces and shrimp. Maybe today was a bad day. It's been a while since I've come to eat here and will probably be a while longer than the last before I come back. O.M.G! I am so glad I finally had the opportunity to drive over to taste these crabs my husband has been showing me pictures of. I ordered the $25 plate and it was so well worth every penny! It came with 2 clusters of crab legs, 1 ear of corn, 1 boiled egg, 1 sausage and around 10 shrimp. I got it all flavored regular with Old Bay seasoning. My husband ordered the same thing except his was flavored Cajun. The food was excellent! We dined inside of the Rose Bush. It was a calm and comfortable place inside that's decorated perfectly with a nice rustic look. The bathrooms were spotless! While we were there a lady cleaned the tables around us. This is not the typical food truck that you imagine being filthy. Taking money from customers and immediately turning around and fixing food without washing of hands... this is the total opposite. There is not one part of this meal i didn't thoroughly enjoy. When I arrive the staff was extremely nice and friendly and gave me everything I needed and told me if i didn't want to sit outside i'm always welcomed inside. The Flavored Cajun and Lemon Pepper Shrimp flavorful and is definitely pleasant to the eye. I'd return more often if I lived closer but anytime i'm near by this is the spot I would go to. read more

The customer service was great however I was not impressed with the food. For me it wasn't that flavorful. I got the Cajun crab with shrimp and sausage. The crab legs were small and the meat was soggy. The lemon pepper shrimp actually were pretty good. But it was just shrimp drowned in butter with lemon pepper sprinkled on top. Nothing special. Well I tried the location in Seguin a my plate of shrimp were pretty tasty with that garlic butter. I like this type of seafood but I really think the prices are way overboard but I know snow crab prices are very high and have been for several years. I got 10 large shrimp with plenty of potatoes and delicious corn in a big piece of sausage. I chose the honey garlic butter but it was a little sweet so next time I'm going to get just the regular garlic butter or maybe even the Cajun flavor. these people are now in New Braunfels almost every weekend and they'll be coming to Seguin every couple of weeks. I thought the seafood needed more salt or even Creole seasoning. It generally just lack flavor hence the docking of 1 star. I docked them another star because I really think this stuff is overpriced especially the crab legs, regardless of what the wholesale prices are right now. I was there about 30 minutes after they opened on a Saturday and there was about three people in front of me. Their menu is pretty straight forward and I ordered the Snow Crab & Shrimp. The crabs were fresh and delicious, they had several flavors to choose from; I got Cajun flavor. The shrimp & corn that came with it however, were big but super soft & mushy. Even though I came to the Rose Bush for Krab Kings, I tried the philly Cheese steak food truck and it was amazing. The Rose Bush has indoor seating with restrooms and condiments. OMGeeee! This place rocks! It's a food truck on Fredericksburg Road and comes to San Antonio every two weeks (according to their Facebook page) for the weekend. The crab legs! Oh my! They were hot and SO meaty, also easy to remove from the shell. We got the Snow Crab/Shrimp combo which came with two large clusters of crab legs, 10 shrimp, boiled potatoes, corn on the cob and a hard-boiled egg - all for $25! We added another Crab cluster for $6. Yummy! Also, they have original, which is Old Bay seasoning, cajun and lemon pepper.
