It was a nice size (unfortunately I didn't grab a picture), but I'm used to receiving two fillets with a catfish entrée, so that part was a little disappointing for the price. We also ordered a catfish sandwich to go, and while this didn't take away from the overall experience, an additional piece of fish would better match expectations. Now let me give credit where it is absolutely due. The young woman working the front--Ariel (I believe it's spelled A-R-I-E-L, and I apologize if I missed that)--was phenomenal. She was cashier, to-go coordinator, and full-on mama energy, handling everything with grace, patience, and a great attitude. Even as it started getting busy (you know how folks roll in after church), she still made space for friendly chit-chat while keeping everything moving. Another thing I truly appreciated: the place was clean. And for me, that matters. Spotless, inviting, and the only thing in the air was the smell of that delicious food--no distractions, no off-putting odors, just good cooking doing what it's supposed to do. The food is served in to-go containers and everything is cooked to order, so expect a little bit of a wait--but honestly, who would mind waiting for food prepared this fresh? Overall, this was a great experience with great food and excellent service. I'll definitely be back--and hopefully next time there's just a little more catfish on the plate.

The lemonade and the special mixer drink called the Gingasaurus Punch come in plastic pouches that you stick a straw in, much like a sophisticated Capri Sun. The owner lady also put out a folding table and chairs for the people waiting or eating, which was so thoughtful!
