I had asuboxone prescription transferred from Mercer Island Walgreens to IssaquahWalgreens without issue;..the pharmacy tech and manager and it was impossible. (They have the ability to confirm all this in their database but egos are clearly a thing here.) I said you're either not up to date on the revised laws OR, You're lying to me because it likely results in more work. Super offended he hung up the phone. LOL, Okay. Here's the prescription transfer info... .Yes, you can transfer your Suboxone (a Schedule III controlled substance) prescription between two Walgreens in Washington State, thanks to new DEA rules allowing a one-time electronic transfer between pharmacies, but it must be handled directly by the pharmacists, and the new Walgreens must be able to fulfill it and be in WA, allowing for easy transfer via Walgreens' app/website or in-person request, according to GoodRx, DEA.gov, and Walgreens

(I wasn't able to drive to the pharmacy in person) I hung up, and was put in the queue again and finally gave up after another 30 minutes. They appear to be consistently understaffed, which is not a reflection of the actual staff who I am sure work hard, but of the corporation itself. I dont think I can put my health in the hands of a company who dont prioritize pharmacy staff.

I got the message a while ago (few days from my psyche that they sent the RX) I even asked for a bridge. They denied it even though I literally had the script in hand. The pharmacy staff are mostly nice, except for the pharmacist with the glasses who is consistently rude and condescending. If something is not in stock, they never tell you even when it could be medically important. They give varying prices depending on who you talk to and the prescriptions are never ready in a reasonable amount of time. In addition, no one answers the phone and occasionally they pick up and hang up. My new pharmacy has been consistent, communicative and nice and I am SO glad I switched and would never ever in a zillion years go back. I realize they are probably overworked and understaffed but maybe they need to refer clients to other stores in the area. Please do something about location this for those poor souls that remain there. The entire store is inadequately stocked, but the cashiers are all very nice. I agree with most of the reviews that this location should be closed. It just doesn't serve the neighborhood.

So after suffering all through the night, I finally got medical help at 400 AM on New Year's Day. The only issue was that there are no pharmacies for prescriptions in the Seattle area that are open 24 hours or on a holiday except this location. I called to make sure they were open before my doctor filed the prescription-the person on the phone (later I found he was the pharmacist) wanted to make sure he had the medication before I made the drive out, which was so kind because I was in so much pain. When I got there, it was about 20 miles. There were about 4 cars in the drive-up pharmacy lane, and 1 person in the store waiting in front of me. The pharmacist was by himself, working and taking care of a lot of people on a holiday was unbelievably kind, empathetic, and had a smile on his face for all the people picking up. This is the kind of customer service you expect when you are feeling miserable...

They have been out of my son's medicine for about 2 weeks now. When I call I was told it be in this week and yet it's Friday and still nothing. When the technician recognized my name he became rude with his eye rolling and told the pharmacist to help me. I was told that all safeways are out of his medicine. I asked how is that possible because it is a common medicine for people with ADHD. He then said that we would need to try to have it transferred. I asked why wasn't I informed about it and not knowing when it will come in. The pharmacist suggested us to go to a pharmacy that doesn't accept the insurance. I told him I will call his doctor to transfer his medicine to a new pharmacy. When I asked the pharmacist when the pharmacy manager would be in and he said Monday. I said okay great, I will come by to talk to her. As I walked away the pharmacy technician called me a name and said cry me a river. I told him come say it to my face. He said something I said come out here and I left it at that. Then a customer service rep told me to leave. I left in peace. I called Safeway Manager and talked to NICK who said I am not allows back to the pharmacy or the store. I told I am okay with that being the store is ran horrible, you have to protect yourself from those shopping in the store. They had people dragged out of the store my pimps and even busted most of the stores windows for almost a year and they won't fix it. It is only the new technician who has consumer service issues. Mind I have been going to the pharmacy for over 13 years. I am done working with them and to be honest since Paris left it has gone to hell.
