But today my review will focus on something else. Today I must say they were super heroes for my little guy today. Going to get vaccines once or twice is hard enough but trying to convince him to go get a booster took some effort. But we had a great lady who was so patient and she was such an angel. Today she was wearing a cape and got my baby son still enough to do that shot. He said he did not feel anything. And yes they give lollipops if you be brave. I believe anyone of all ages who do this is so brave. I enjoyed the care provided and the encouragement. If you want to go take your little ones in there for vaccines, it is a good place to go. It is a drug store but the staff providing injections have great bedside manners for children. I was definitely impressed.

That I didn't care how long it takes for it to be put back on the card. I just don't want to carry cash on me because it easier to lose and then you have no way of getting it back. both me and my close friend felt that The Cashier was making the claim that it was my fault for Her ringing the item 2x. She said that the standards and regulations of Rite Aid forced Her to do it by cash because if she does a credit it takes up to two weeks. Dear Store Manager, it wasn't that she rang up the item 2x or that She refuse to put it on my card. The issue is everytime I come in here there is always an issue when I use Her to ring me up. I also ride the bus for the last 15 years and one of the things I have learned from having done so is that you never carry cash because once its lost there is no way to recover it. it should be up to the customer to decide if they ultimately get cash or credit onto the card. not up to the employee and then make it sound like its the customer's fault

This pharmacy has that small business owner feel to it, but it's in a Target store - how cool is that? The pharmacist is always knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have, the techs there are always "on the ball" - special shout out to Jose!! They also accommodate for holidays, e.g. I usually refill every month on Thursday and Thanksgiving is on a Thursday. The pharmacist allowed me to refill my medication early, but next refill would be on a Thursday again. So it helps me keep track and not have to move the dates around. The bottles also have style. The first time I saw one, I was really impressed. It was so cool looking!! Red (their signature color), with "your" personal color band just below the cap. And there is a small slot that comes with more info on your medication (as well as the large sheet that every pharmacy gives out). I don't know about you, but I sure don't file medication info. Having the sheet folded into the slot on the bottle is an awesome design. And if there are various people in your family taking the same medication, the bottles are color coded and you'll never get confused - you don't even have to read the bottle, you just look at the color. I'm "purple" - so I know that all the "purple" banded ones are mine. They try to make it as convenient as possible for the customer. You can pay for anything at the pharmacy counter (like caramel apples, salad mix, chicken, frozen pizzas... even pet costumes). They also have good safety measures. For example, another large chain drug store that I used to use would fill a controlled substance six days in advance every month because the insurance would let them. So where do all these extra pills go? Either black market or addicts? But Target limits it to two days. Yes, you still have an extra two days of controlled substances, just in case - but that is much better than six, which could equal a lot of pills. Since pills are now the drug of choice among teens, I think that two days is completely reasonable, it makes monthly timing easier and you know if someone has stolen some of your medication. Every four weeks on the same day, easy to remember, color coded, stylish bottle and you can shop while you wait! Pretty cool in my book.

Called today because my doctor emailed me at 8:30am stating she had faxed my prescriptions to the pharmacy so I wanted to call and be sure they were being filled and ask when they would be ready. The male that answered the phone insisted I wasn't in the system after only checking my date of birth and not even asking my name. I told him I was because I called yesterday and she found me. He then checks again, asks my name, still insists I'm not in the system, I tell him how to spell my name and he says I am listed at another location so "he was right". Then he keeps telling me that he has no prescriptions for me. I continually have to tell him that my doctor sent them over as he sits there silently. I state again that my doctor faxed them and I'm confused as to why he doesn't know where they are and he finally finds them then says they should be ready by 6pm (it's currently 10am). I repeat "ok so if I come there at 6pm they will be ready to pick up?" he says "they should be". I thank him and he just hangs up. Sir, if you hate your job so much please get a new one. Most of the other negative reviews are due to this man's rudeness so maybe CVS needs to take notice and hand him a pink slip. I only gave 2 stars because the woman yesterday was nice. I'll update my review after I receive my prescriptions.

When I came in to pick up my medications, she interrupted me mid-sentence, demanding the date of birth rather than the name. When I mentioned receiving a text notification about a prescription being ready, she rudely insisted there was "no way" and claimed it was for something else. She told me one medication wouldn't be ready until 3:30 PM (it was 1:00 PM at the time), so I took the ones that were ready and left. Not even 20 minutes later, I received a call saying the other medication was ready. Now I have to make an unnecessary second trip, which could've been avoided if she had simply double-checked while I was there. This isn't the first time I've encountered rude and dismissive behavior from her. It's frustrating because the rest of the staff are kind and efficient, but dealing with her always makes the experience unnecessarily stressful. I've also had issues with my medication. I get phenobarbital every 30 days. 90 tablets total. The last time I picked it up there were only 30 tablets in the bottles. Luckily I noticed right away and had to make an unnecessary trip back again to get the correct amount of tablets.
