This place has gone down hill really fast ! Since the staff changed and the pharmacy took over rite aid patients it has not been the same. Long lines every time I come in and staff not knowing where medication is stored I had to tell her what area where they normally grab it from after she was looking for it for over 5 mins. They are not friendly staff it's like get you in and get you out I definitely am looking for a new pharmacy. If u could I would not even leave a one star ! It's not a good pharmacy to go to at least the one inside the Lakewood target. read more

I was well informed about the Centralia rite aid changing to CVS. All the employees said "dont worry nothing will change"!!!! Well guess what!!! They dont take my Regence insurance. So I spent all day trying to move meds that are needed everyday. What a nightmare!!! CVS could have warned regence customers that they weren't contracted with them so we could of had time to make the necessary changes. What poor customer service I endured today while asking what i should do too. Sorry we can't help you try Safeway. Safeway said sorry to transfer meds it takes 5 days. Thankfully walmart was able to save the day and get everything moved and filled. But CVS needs to send apologies to everyone they affected today. 9/15/25 read more

A prescription of mine has been ready for 3 days. And each day I have called to have it delivered to me as I am disabled and high risk for Covid complications. They claim to fax my doctors for preauthorizations on other medication. Each of my 5 doctors let me know that they have never received any fax from them. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This pharmacy is horrible. If you dont pick up prescription they text you 4-5 times a day they also tell you you can get a $5 gift card with every 10 prescriptions filled. I have filled more than 10 several times and i never get it. I think if you dont pick up prescription after 1000 texts in few days they should stop and send it back its totally ridiculous read more

After locally owned small business pharmacies back in CA, I like the Target pharmacy in the Lakewood Towne Center the best. This pharmacy has that small business owner feel to it, but it's in a Target store - how cool is that? The pharmacist is always knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have, the techs there are always "on the ball" - special shout out to Jose!! They also accommodate for holidays, e.g. I usually refill every month on Thursday and Thanksgiving is on a Thursday. The pharmacist allowed me to refill my medication early, but next refill would be on a Thursday again. So it helps me keep track and not have to move the dates around. The bottles also have style. The first time I saw one, I was really impressed. It was so cool looking!! Red (their signature color), with "your" personal color band just below the cap. And there is a small slot that comes with more info on your medication (as well as the large sheet that every pharmacy gives out). I don't know about you, but I sure don't file medication info. Having the sheet folded into the slot on the bottle is an awesome design. And if there are various people in your family taking the same medication, the bottles are color coded and you'll never get confused - you don't even have to read the bottle, you just look at the color. I'm "purple" - so I know that all the "purple" banded ones are mine. They try to make it as convenient as possible for the customer. You can pay for anything at the pharmacy counter (like caramel apples, salad mix, chicken, frozen pizzas... even pet costumes). They also have good safety measures. For example, another large chain drug store that I used to use would fill a controlled substance six days in advance every month because the insurance would let them. So where do all these extra pills go? Either black market or addicts? But Target limits it to two days. Yes, you still have an extra two days of controlled substances, just in case - but that is much better than six, which could equal a lot of pills. Since pills are now the drug of choice among teens, I think that two days is completely reasonable, it makes monthly timing easier and you know if someone has stolen some of your medication. Every four weeks on the same day, easy to remember, color coded, stylish bottle and you can shop while you wait! Pretty cool in my book. read more

After having some bad experiences at another well-known pharmacy, I switched my prescriptions over to Target Pharmacy. I'm so glad I did! It's a well-run pharmacy with friendly and knowledgeable pharmacists. They haven't screwed up my prescription like the previous pharmacy, and have my prescriptions filled much faster. I love their loyalty card, which is going to be really handy as my daughter grows up. Add in the convenience of being able to shop for all kinds of other things while stopping into Target, and I'm a happy customer. read more
