I was shown one pair of compression socks as my healing left foot was still a bit tender and swollen. They have a little room to wait in. I decided to just buy one pair since $58+ seemed a bit steep on price for me plus they pair they had was actually a men's socks and looked like what little old ladies wear...ahem... Pharmacist Lorrie and her team of Sue and Nicolette are the backbone of the business. Friendly and genuinely caring people who are eager to help. Besides my prescriptions, I also pick up certain OTC items here. If they don't have it stocked, I'll place a phone order and within a day or two the items arrive. A highlight about this pharmacy is their free delivery service. You can arrange a time of delivery in person or on the phone. Along with her bright smile, Lorrie possesses a certain professional charisma that draws you in. She makes you feel comfortable and is easy to talk to. (I tend to talk too much) During my very first visit there, she took the time to listen to my concerns and helped me through a decision I was facing. Lorrie will also go over your prescriptions and explain how to take them. Whenever I buy an OTC product, she brings out several and explains each one. She is very patient and will repeat herself several times until I understand. I can't say enough about Newtown Square Pharmacy - they deserve more than 5 stars. Unlike drug store locations they are more apt to have to deal with people in need of medical prescriptions. One of the Queen's physical therapy clinics are located here, as well as an imaging clinic. While not located in the main hospital, this pharmacy is very pleasant with kind and patient staff. It seems many visitors are senior citizens who require more attention and I have seen first hand how good they can be. The parking here at POB 3 is pretty easy to maneuver but the stalls are limited compared to POB 1 or 2. ( most people would say POB 2 has the toughest parking, I agree. So if you need to fill a prescription or have questions about your medication, or need shots, give POB3 a call if you are near Queens hospital, they are good.

My purpose was to pick up my new CPAP machine. As soon as I got off the bus I walked across the street to the Pearl Kai shopping center and started walking along the walkway towards the back. Off to the right in the back and right next to the Tattoo shop there was Gammie HomeCare!! I walked into the showroom which was filled with with different types of walkers, comfy looking chairs and motorized wheelchairs. There was a lady sitting behind a desk helping a customer and she got up and asked me to sit down after I told her I had a 4:00pm appointment. Not even 5 minutes later Daniel Paregien, Respiratory Support Technician, came out and introduced himself and brought me into his office. Since my PCP had provided him with part of my sleep study data, he was able to chose the right CPAP machine for me. He was thorough in explaining how it worked, how to take it apart and put back together, what kind of water to use & how much, how and when to clean it & change the filter. I had to record it (I got his permission) so I wouldn't forget anything. He gave me his card so I could ask questions in future. I got to try it out to see if it fit & if it felt comfortable. It felt weird but I'll have to get used to it, starting tonight. It could save my life. I asked for permission to take photos so I wouldn't show anyone's personal information. Mahalo, Danny!! I also let her know that ALL of the conversations I had with the other workers all went well and the service was great all in all, just the way that Emmaline handled my situation was super unprofessional.
