Had the absolute pleasure of getting my babygirl Duck taken care of by the amazing salon team at this location ! Shoutout to Adam specifically! Super professional and nice guy who did an amazing job taking care of Duck! Hold on to this guy petsmart !!!! We will definitely only be coming here from now on when it's bath time for the dogs.

After having unsatisfying grooming experiences at another PetSmart location, we returned to this one. The staff members were very nice to me and my pup--you could tell from every detail. I'd like to give thanks especially to Kelcie and Lizbet, who took great care to successfully bath my pup and grind his nails without traumatizing him. Your love and care will not go unnoticed.

Very nice store, great kind caring staff, very clean and organized , and super kind loving animals mom and dads , training facility was amazing , as a mom dog abc someone who had a sweet male cat for 8 years I have to say Petsmart rocks. Yesssssss always we have great conversation with people in this store, nice vibe good caring souls and precious fur babies waiting for adoption, my dog is blind in both eyes so I spoil her a lot with toys and dresses and goodies and treats each week we buy for FAUNOOS my princess daughter dog, God bless all the animals in this world Amen, we bought two fish from this store that I still have, very nice store

Terrified of going back into the same building as the pet hotel. Began trembling and would not come out of the car.

I am truly devastated by what became of my dog after we boarded her here last weekend. We thought we were going to get quality service because we love our veterinarian at Banfield in the same Petsmart that this pet hotel is at. My dog came home completely lethargic and continue to be lethargic for another day. After visiting the vet, she was diagnosed with kennel cough and an ear infection. On top of that, she is now afraid to come inside using her doggy door. I don't know what happened in those few days but now my dog is sick and is a nervous wreck. Because they are in the same building as our vet, my dog would not get out of the car and began trembling before her paws even hit the pavement. I do not recommend boarding your pets here. This was a horrible first experience and will no longer be using petsmart pet hotels as a service.

    Thank You PetsHotel

I'm giving this a review a five star as it was my first experience using PetsHotel with this PetSmart location in Yorba Linda. I was recommended by my sister in law as she too also uses PetsHotel with this location. I've read bad reviews and have been recommended by others NOT to use them but at short notice and after researching other boarding companies I felt I was more comfortable using PetsHotel for my pups needs. The person who scheduled the stay was polite and very informative of prices and options for the board. She offered any extra treats for the stay so my pup would stay comfortable. She explained how my pup would get 1 on 1 play since he is not neutered and is not eligible for group play, which was fine with me because you never know how other dogs can be or mine for that matter. The day before drop off I was able to sign any papers and provide a list of his vax to make sure we would have a smooth transition at drop off. The person at the counter was friendly and handled my dog with care. It went as smooth as expected. My pup stayed a total of 4 nights. Pick up was a breeze. I loved the "pawgress" report they provide. My pup came home happy and actually smelled better than when I dropped him off. I didn't add any grooming services but maybe they wiped him down for some reason. My pup actually came home really mellow and relaxed. My previous boarding facility I used would give my dog back stinky from play and hyped up. He would pant like crazy as if he ran a marathon. He would have group play and there and would non stop play all day with no breaks. I was very surprised how relaxed and calm my dog was after using PetsHotel at PetSmart. I felt as if he had been pampered at a spa for the last 4 days. Needless to say excellent service from scheduling, pick up and drop off and the overall care my dog received. Thank you for the best first experience and we will be back for our next board.

I hardly go to this location but stopped by yesterday, and I was looking for pill pocket chicken flavor, and there was only large size was available on the shelve, but the person I think her name was Vanessa went back and looked for me and mentioned this item is on the sale if you buy two-package. I liked her effort and knowledge about the products. Going back and look for the products and make sure the customer doesn't leave with the disappointed was a great feature. I highly recommend this location and looking forward to going back and see these happy faces again. Thank you all

    Major Graduating puppy class :)

This review is for Diego. I started taking my puppy here 12 weeks ago starting with the puppy class. I wanted to get into a certain class that started the soonest according to their calendar unfortunately I was unable to book online due to being full. I called the store and spoke to Diego he was very accommodating and was able to open up a spot for me. I will say many many many years ago I took my bulldog for puppy class and was expecting little training and more socializing with the other puppies , however the training program has completely changed since then and you are definitely getting your money's worth with training. My pup has learned to walk on a leash properly, to ignore other dogs that are barking , sit, stay while I'm out of his eye sight , come when called when there are distractions around (food treats and toys) as well being able to walk with him into stores without him going crazy and trying to pull me, this is just to name a few. All I can say is wow his training and techniques are on point! Diego is really patient in training something I had to learn and takes the time to watch each pup and their owner practice the Techniques he is teaching that day. I could not be more pleased with the training class. We have completed puppy and intermediate level and now entering advanced all this has been learned in just 12 weeks! I can't wait to see what my puppy learns in the next 6 weeks for his advanced class! Thank you Diego!

How can I find out when there is going to be a dog adoption event at this location? Maybe they aren't being held now because of Covid but if they are I'd like to know in advance so I could come.

The facility itself is very well equipped, with more than 100 rooms. They also have separate isolation rooms in case a dog gets sick, which helps prevent illnesses from spreading to other dogs. I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. They keep daily records of each dog's eating habits and bathroom activity, which really gives owners extra peace of mind. Overall, it feels like a very responsible and well-organized place for dogs.

There's plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play comfortably. What made me feel the most reassured is that they don't just "keep" the dogs there -- they actually spend time playing with them, observing their behavior, and caring about their emotions. If your dog wants to socialize and play with other dogs, they do require proof of vaccinations including Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP. They also do a simple temperament test (around 20 minutes), which honestly made me feel they're super responsible and genuinely care about the safety and well-being of every dog. As pet owners, the hardest part about traveling isn't the distance -- it's worrying whether our fur babies are truly being cared for. At Dogden, you really get a sense of peace of mind. They understand dogs so well. It's not just boarding -- they treat every dog like a little kid and care for them with so much love and attention. Five Stars for Everydog -- A True Lifesaver for Anxious Pups!…read moreIf you have an anxious dog, look no further than Everydog. When we first brought our dog Delilah to daycare, she was a bundle of nerves -- shaking, pacing, and clearly overwhelmed. Dave, Miranda, and the entire staff met her exactly where she was, with incredible patience and genuine care, and worked with her at her own pace until she felt safe and comfortable. We came to Everydog with a specific goal: to socialize and train Delilah so she could be boarded while we visited family in Manila over the Christmas holidays. Dave was upfront and honest with us -- when it became clear that Delilah needed more time to adjust, he advised us to postpone our trip rather than rush her. That kind of integrity means everything. We took his advice, gave her the time she needed, and by February she was thriving in boarding. That trip finally happened, stress-free, because of the foundation Everydog helped build. We also took advantage of their in-house training program, which was remarkably effective in addressing Delilah's behaviors -- excessive jumping, refusing to come when called, and reactivity. The progress has been real and lasting. Now? Delilah absolutely loves going to Everydog. Miranda told us she's been happily jumping, running, and playing with her dog friends -- a far cry from that scared, shaking pup on day one. Watching her transformation has been so rewarding. On top of everything, the grooming is excellent and wonderfully convenient, and we deeply appreciate their commitment to safety -- strict vaccination checks, clean play areas, and a well-maintained environment throughout. We are so grateful to have found Everydog for our little Delilah. Thank you, Dave, Miranda, and the whole team!

However, she charged us $400, claiming that our dogs have long hair, drool, and even accused them of being aggressive from thin air. That additional $100 was the extra "penalty" charge. We travel frequently for work every year, and our dogs are very well-socialized. They have boarded at many professional facilities without a single issue. Despite our repeated attempts to communicate and request a refund, Nora responded with a very disrespectful attitude and refused to return the overcharge. Dog owners, please be aware: this boarding service has no official certifications or professional credentials. It is simply a small, home-based operation. Also worth noting -- the business owner is a rude senior woman who may struggle to handle larger, or small size but more active dogs. There is a real risk she could be knocked over, tripped or injured if the dog is too strong or too quick for her to manage safely. If you're looking for reliable, qualified care for your pets -- and want to avoid the potential liability risks involved with a caregiver -- this is not the place to go. * Update( with image) : Nora is trying to play the victim, yet she threatened to report my puppies to animal control via text message. Dog owners, be warned--if you ever have a disagreement with this business, your beloved pets could be used as leverage. My dogs may be big, but they're gentle giants. After realizing Nora's lack of professionalism, we had a trusted friend drive them to a reputable, accredited boarding facility. There were no issues at all--our pups were safe, happy, and the staff treated them like family. As I mentioned earlier, be cautious--dealing with this business could unexpectedly shift liability onto you as the pet owner.

I was thankful that they accepted my county vaccination paperwork and that I was able to board my dog privately until she was spayed (which I did complete). There were some initial issues related to camera access and paperwork that were a bit frustrating at the time. The camera issue itself ultimately appeared to be more of a technical problem, but the initial communication at the front desk left me feeling like my concerns weren't fully heard. Looking back, it seems like something that could have been easily clarified with better communication. That said, coming from a customer service background, I believe it's important to give businesses the opportunity to address concerns before forming a final opinion. What really stood out to me was how the management team handled everything. They reached out, listened, and took my concerns seriously. They made the effort to explain, correct, and improve the experience, and followed up in a way that felt genuine and accountable. The issue was addressed quickly, and I truly believe they used the feedback as an opportunity to improve, which I really respect. Since then, I've continued bringing my dog here regularly - including overnight stays - and the difference has been clear. The staff is attentive, kind, and very in tune with the dogs. They recognize her, look forward to seeing her, and consistently keep me informed about how she's doing, including any concerns. She is treated with patience and care. They've also gone above and beyond in ways that meant a lot to me. They honored a daycare promotion I had missed when I first enrolled, and during a recent visit when my dog had been sprayed by a skunk, the team was incredibly attentive and helped clean her thoroughly and thoughtfully. That level of care made a stressful situation so much easier. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the team members who work directly with the dogs genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. I have no doubt that they have the dogs' best interests in mind, even knowing how challenging it can be to manage so many different personalities. No place is perfect, and dogs can be unpredictable, but what matters most to me is how a business responds when something doesn't go as planned. In this case, they made it right, and that's why they've become my go-to for daycare and boarding. I'm very thankful to have found them, and my dog clearly feels comfortable there, which says everything.

As he settled in my home, he became increasingly aggressive towards other people -- friends, family, and strangers alike, whether in the home or outside of the home. Sully was even aggressive towards my husband, and it felt like I was at a loss. I needed to do something before he actually ended up hurting someone. After explaining what was happening with Sully with the organization I was fostering from, they said they would need to put him down for the safety of the community. I couldn't let that happen, so I decided to keep him and find professional help. This is where John came in. After doing research online, I came across his Yelp page, where there were raving reviews of him helping aggressive dogs, so I took a chance. On his first day meeting John, Sully growled, hissed, and lunged at John. Sully tried to bite both him and me. John spent about an hour with me explaining what was going to happen and some training basics, and honestly, it was hard for me to focus because I was so nervous of Sully hurting someone in the moment. John was very patient, and showed me 5x how to hold a leash properly because I just couldn't focus from nervousness. I've never seen Sully so aggressive, and John explained it's because it was the first time someone was checking him and keeping him in his place. Sully stayed with John for a little over two weeks, and in that time, they went on ADVENTURES. I mentioned to John that Sully was afraid of water, aggressive with strangers, and other very specific things, and John made sure to tackle all of them. He sent me pictures and videos of his adventures throughout their time together. They went on a ferry, hiked to a waterfall, and so so much more. When there was a concern or something to celebrate, John was sure to communicate with us what was going on. In addition, due to personal circumstances, we needed to have Sully stay with John a few more days, and John was so understanding and accommodated us. I finally have my sweet boy back, and I see so much of a difference. He is calmer, more responsive, and he's running through my sprinklers now. LOL. It still takes him a bit to warm up to other people, but he's not as on guard or on edge as he was before. I'm excited to continue his progress at home, and I'm sure we will see John and Sara for future stays! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of his adventures with John and Sara. :)
