Took my dog in here last week. He had a bad double ear infection. He is a poodle and a swimmer. Anyways, it's pretty obvious when a dog has a bad ear infection. it stinks, it's red and hot and painful. this vet fought with me for 30 minutes because i was positive that he had an ear infection. She refused to give me any antibiotics for him. She said since i refused further testing she's not responsible if my dog has a seizure and dies. i was then told she guessed he could have an oral antibiotic (she saw me recording our conversation) but she wouldn't give him cream for his ear because she wanted to put him under and make sure he didn't have anything in his ear, and about a million other tests that he "had to have or i wasn't a good dog owner" she only gave me the oral antibiotics because i said i would come in the following monday so she could do a million unneeded tests. canceled. dogs fine. fyi awful vet at petsmart, i recorded every single threat. don't go here! read more

Not impressed at all by this location. The staff is rude and inconsiderate. I came to return a bag of dog food that was giving my puppies diarrhea and wanted to get a different bag. I spent 30 minutes dealing with them & I left without a new bag of food. The manager was incompetent and the cashier was an embarrassment to Petsmart's name- arguing and acting snobby with customers is not how you handle any situation. I will not be back here. I give this place only 2 stars because it's annoying you have to wait 3 weeks to get your dogs groomed. It's ridiculous we have been coming here since we moved here 12 years ago we used to bring our other dog in whenever we wanted there was NO problem but since Petco closed this place is insane. Manager told us they would hire more groomers well it's been 2-3 years still not enough groomers. I guess I will look for someone else. SAD! read more

I have taken both my dogs here to get groomed regularly. Both of them are smaller breeds and incredibly sweet so you can imagine my surprise when I was told that one started biting. They gave her to me with her fur shaved almost completely to the skin and her head still full of fur. So we took her to a family friend who has experience with grooming and had him finish their job. During the process, she flinched at the sound of the razor but had no issues with any scissors or anything else. at the start of the process, our friend pointed out a cut behind her ear that must have happened during the grooming process. Now for them to accidentally knick a dog because they moved too much was fine but to completely disregard their mistake and NOT TELL THE OWNER is completely unprofessional and inappropriate. My dog has never had any issues with groomers there before. She has been obviously sad and whining constantly since her trip here. I would recommend that PetSmart stop training dogs and start training their groomers. read more

If I could give less stars I would. I booked a grooming appt for my Bichon using the Petsmart app, like I always do, & when I arrived for the appt I was told it's not in their system. I booked the appointment approx. 2 weeks in advance, but that doesn't matter to them. I was told there was nothing they could do and that I should call to book appointments in the future. Instead, I drove over to Bark Avenue in town and they scheduled my dog for tomorrow morning. Their prices are also very comparable to Petsmart. So go eat a d!ck Petsmart, this former loyal customer is sick of your BS & won't be returning. read more

I stopped coming here because some of the groomers lack good customer service skills. I had to go back last month because my pup's regular groomer wasn't available and I see nothing has changed. Petsmart needs to hire a FT front desk person and let the groomers do what they do best. read more

This place is ridiculous. I took my German Shepard here to get groomed. I asked how long it would take for him to be ready and they said 2-3 hours. I left and called 2 hours later and nobody would answer. I kept calling and calling until I decided to just drive there. This very incompetent employee said " oh he's been ready for an hour I don't know why nobody called you" I was so frustrated I just wanted to see my dog. As soon as he saw me he ran to me. I asked how he did and they said fine. I left the store and was driving home and he wouldn't stop crying. Everything was scaring him. I went back and spoke to the two girls that had bathed him and they said they didn't know why he was acting that way. Ever since then my dog is scared to take a bath. I don't know what they did to him, but obviously it traumatized him. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Take your dogs elsewhere. These employees obviously couldn't handle taking care of my dog and should've simply called me to say they were having a hard time. Instead who knows what they did to him. read more

I came here for a particular item. The clerk was very nice and helpful about the item I was buying. She conversed with my kids and didn't ignore them like most cashiers do when we're out. She was the epitome of what customer service should be. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. She had blonde hair with blue in it. The next day I had to come back because a piece was missing. I took my pup here for her first grooming appointment ever. They did a great job on the cut- she looks great. However, 2 stars because I found 3 different inch-long scabs on her chest and the groomer didn't have the decency to at least give me a heads up. It's one thing to have it be a tiny mark. But 3 different inch-long scabs and you just say my dog did great? That's upsetting. Please let owners know upfront. read more

This being my first written review, I'll try to keep this short. I can't speak honestly about the service of the rest of the staff at this location. Everyone seemed friendly enough. The reason for the 5 stars rests solely on a member of the pet training staff, Alycia (hope I'm spelling it correctly). She was incredibly patient with me and my new Husky pup, who was a complete terror when I first brought him in. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. My appointment was scheduled a month ago. I arrived at 0730 in the morning just to be told that my dog could not receive a cut because they didn't have enough time. I was completely surprised as both girls looked at each other dumb founded and ask if I wanted to schedule another appointment. Even though i told the girl a month ago while scheduling his appointment that it was for a cut and wash. This was the second time they made a mistake and I will never do business with PetSmart again. Yes, that also includes Banfield that's inside of PetSmart. It puzzles me that people hire these young kids without providing the necessary skills of customer service 101. read more

Ok, so i called Banfield for a cost of spaying my small cat. You have to bring them in so they can see the animal, what kind of place is that? You know what it cost to do this type of service. Regardless whether the first visit is free. Dumb totally dumb, I just think they have prices why not tell a person that way I do not have to drive and take my cat out something she will not enjoy by the way. My end result is, I will drive her to Dublin SPCA and have her spayed for many many dollars less then here in this area. I did get quotes from Vets here, they ranged from $136 to $280 amazing to me. Took our Westie there and he has NEVER had an issue with grooming anywhere else...he was so traumatized by the blower dryer he had a nose bleed and the vet had to tend to him. They did not groom him and said he could not come back. The vet there is so incredibly nice that they called us the next day to see how he was doing. The vet service 5 stars, grooming 1 star. The poor dog was scared of us when we saw him. :( read more

0 stars for the Grooming. 3 Stars for the rest of Pet Smart. I took my cute little Havanese to the grooming place. He was supposed to get the basic package. Shampooed, hair cut, nails groomed and grinded. After 3 hours we got a call that he was done. I do understand that they weren't able to grind his nails because he gets upset; but he did not smell like he was shampooed. The receipt said he got tangerine shampoo. He didn't smell like anything. He just smelled like the backyard at home. He always smells sweet when we give him a bath at home. He didn't look like he had a hair cut at all. The only thing I liked was how soft he was after being blowdryed. So basically, I paid $40 for my dog being blowdryed and getting out some of the mats from his fur. I was told to take him to the Vets to get the rest of the mats out and get his nails done. I just shouldn't have been charged for all the things they didn't do. I should have went with my first instinct, and not went there. The girls didn't seem that friendly. However, the rest of PetSmart is great. Very friendly. This also doesn't include Banfield Hospital. I really like the doctors and staff there. They're very caring. read more

Rachelle is Cooper's groomer and the very best. When our groomer relocated I was concerned as to how to find a replacement. I selected Rachelle based on my observations of interactions she had with other dogs, customers and her own team at Petsmart. She talks to her dogs and obviously enjoys what she does.! She gives each dog attention as if they were her own. Rachelle is competent and trustworthy. This is our regular pet food place. The workers are friendly and the store is always clean. I'm sure you can find cheaper places to buy dog food but this store is convenient when I go grocery shopping at Winco. oh and there is PLENTY of parking so it should be a problem finding a spot. read more

Than I called that same week on a Friday and spoke to a manager and made sure the trainer would give me a call the next day on Saturday. No one ever called! The groomers here are great! The first time I took my shih tzu here, Ashley did a great job! (I don't believe she works here anymore). She was great with explaining the services they offered and what cut she recommended for my dog. Everyone at the groomers dept. Is very knowledgeable. They're also great with communication :) Last week, I took Shelli to get groomed again and Sadie helped. She was awesome! She's very nice and she did a great job. I know my dog can be difficult and I was worried that they weren't able to groom her, especially her nails. But luckily all services were applied. We will definitely be back! read more

We have been to other Petsmart grooming salons in the past and they were just mediocre. After moving to Tracy we tried this one and were super happy with everything! They even give you a "pawgress" booklet with notes on what was done and how our dogs did. No wonder there was a 2 week waiting period for appointments. Excited to have a new grooming spot! read more

My Sister took her dog for a picture with Santa! And he was adorable! As for the setting it was bad because around the Christmas tree it's all dirty you could see the papers laying around. There's a cell phone on one of the Gifts.And there's a Sprite soda to ! The tree is all messy, candy canes are in the wrong direction .It's good that you have Pictures taken but come on now your giving the store a bad review. read more
