Nobu has been a blessing in our lives! We are new to California and we have never used a dog walker. I was a somewhat skeptic that Nobu could actually turn our pups' bad walking behaviors around but I was open to the idea! When I was living in Tracy I hired The Dog Walker for mid-day walks with my boy, Max when I got him at 5 mo old (mini poodle puppy) on days I went to the office. Michelle Coumbo was the walker assigned to Max and she was FANTASTIC! She always sent me detailed, follow up texts after walking Max. (His mood, if he went potty, how he did on his walk, etc.) I was home 2 times she came to walk him and he was always happy and excited to see her. When there was confusion on a walk scheduled, Nobu (the owner) made it right. Both Nobu and Michelle were great communicating with me on everything from changes in the dog walker due to scheduling, etc. BTW, Nobu uses a dog walker app that he'll send after each walk to show the starting time, route walked, etc. I would definitely recommend The Dog Walker and Michelle! read more

NOBU, THE DOG WALKER IS SIMPLY THE BEST! My dogs can be very demanding and a total challenge at times. Nobu is my regular pet sitter when we go out of town. He comes to my house several times during the day to make sure the whole pack is fine, feed them, play with them and even administer medication to the ones that need it!. We have 4 dogs of our own, plus several others that we foster for adoption. The dog walker, Nobu, has been walking our labs Kona and Miss Molly for about 3 years now. We rescued Kona and she had a lot of baggage. First week we had her, she got away from her leash and we chased her for about 2 hours in and out of traffic. She was wetting inside the house and was afraid of my husband. My husband was ready to throw in the towel. Nobu worked with her and she has made a 100% improvement after just a few months. She sits next to my husband, we can let her out front or at a park unleashed and she stays right with us. She even lets him rub her belly, which is an accomplishment in itself. We have 3 dogs; a t-cup Maltese, a small Maltese and a 130# Rottweiler. The Dog Walker has been our 'go to' every step of the our canine journey. We've been fortunate enough to be able to work with Nobu on so many occasions and in so many instances. Most notably; training, walking dogs when our schedules became too impacted to properly exercise the dogs; and, when we needed assistance introducing the Rotty into "the pack" properly - quite naturally - our first call was to Nobu who expertly worked with us to ensure the introduction was successful. When we leave town and can't take all the pooches - first call is to Nobu for boarding. The dogs respect, love and obey Nobu fearlessly. We have a difficult dog. He was a stray when we found him and he has serious PTS issues. We couldn't have him pet sit with our other dogs because he needs to be caged to prevent him from jumping or climbing out of the yard. Nobu took care of him for several days for us in his home. Nobu, the dog walker is fantastic! He has been walking my 4 year old rottweiler Zoe for a few years. It even seems like Zoe is happier on the days that Nobu takes her for her walks. I have had soo much fun going to to dog training with my grandma. I am 11 and my name is Megan. I also helped train my grandmas dog. It is soo much fun to learn new tricks. Robert is an excellent trainer. He is also very nice. I enjoyed going to training classes because even though there's some other dogs there he makes sure you get personalized attention. I just came back from a 5 day trip which was the first time that my 2 daughters, I mean dogs, haven't been with me or a family member. Nobu came twice a day to walk them, feed them, play with them, and even train them to walk better on a leach, interact with other animals better, and generally be better behaved. While I was in Florida, he sent me a text message every single time he visited and i enjoyed my trip so much knowing Lucy and Charlotte were well and in good hands. I recommend Nobu without reservation. He is great! In addition to being great with dogs, he is a man of character. I handed over my house key and knew everything was going to be fine. I got to know Nobu because he is the dog trainer/teacher of the class I take Lucy to. We got her as a rescue and, while she is a sweetheart, she had been a scrappy survivor and didn't have very good social skills. Nobu's class helped her and me learn how to communicate, walk, have fun. While it didn't happen over night, her behavior with other people is amazingly improved. She's actually a very friendly, social little girl now. Her behavior with other dogs is much better although we're still working on it in our intermediate class with Nobu. So if you're looking for a great dog/person teacher, go take his class or take a private lesson with him. If you need someone to take of your pets when you go away, he will do an excellent job. He is an amazing resource and professional with years of experience training. Our dog is very responsive to his techniques and Nobu is very patient with teaching us how to interact with our dog more successfully. The pet sitting service was ideal because Nobu came to our house three times a day to play with and care for our dog. With every visit Nobu sent me a text message to let us know that he had been there and how our dog was doing. This helped give us a piece of mind while we were on vacation.
