I just brought my silky terrier, Sampson home from his grooming with Erin. She has training and experience in grooming show dogs. Erin is patient with the dogs she grooms, which is why she is booked out quite always. Definitely worth the wait. . He looks handsome and his cut is easy to maintain.

A week after, Erin did the grooming correction for Ace. She has been Ace's groomer for a long time and she always did a fantastic job. This time is no exception. When my wife made the original appointment, she asked for Erin and was told that Erin may not be working there anymore. Perhaps a proper customer relations training is needed by the store management?

Do not take your dog to PetSmart and get them groomed I went to PetSmart and took my puppy T-Rex to get him Cut and washed only for them to tell me that they could not cut him because he was acting scared my groomer told me that if they could not fully cut him they would give him the puppy trim which is a bath and trimming around the face the paws and the butt only for them to not do nothing but wash his back and brush him he looks like a furball they didn't even wash his face and they're not even licensed

This is the best grooming experience I have had with my girl Minnie! Savannah groomed her and knew exactly what we needed to have done. She stayed later just to make sure she saw the full service through. We appreciate the level of care Savannah gave, and Minnie is also very pleased! I have to take one star off for the lack of entryway to the grooming facility. It is an incredibly cramped space, and when you have larger dogs, it can be really inconvenient. We didn't care for the Banfield here, but are glad that we gave the grooming department a shot! They did not disappoint!

The staff has all been extremely friendly and you can tell they really care about the dogs. They have recently really increased the amount of enrichment activities offered, which are nice add ons to the daycare stay and you always get photos! I have also boarded my pup and I really appreciate that I am allowed to bring his favorite blanket and toys to make him more comfortable. Booking on the app is very streamlined and I appreciate their punch card for daycare visits.

This review is to make awareness of the situation my dog was put into and hopes that this place train their employees to better handle a situation to keep both parties safe. At the end of the day this business is responsible for keeping their own employees and our pets safe. This business is responsible for educating employees on how to properly break up dog fights or avoid instigating them. My dog was dismissed from cbw due to bitting an employee. I couldn't believe it. My dog has never bitten anyone and is usually very submissive towards other dogs. I'd also like to note that this is not the first day care my dog has been to. He was at a previous day care where he stayed for a week without issues. We don't go there anymore because we moved. Now, I couldn't help but be skeptical of people who say they were bit by a dog that doesn't have a history of biting . Things don't usually happen out of nowhere. So ask "what did you do to provoke the dog?". I hate to say it, but most people who work with animals, have no business working with them, either because they can't read body language, push the animal's buttons (Inadvertently or otherwise), or they don't know how to diffuse a situation that involves more than one animal. So after being in my head all day after the incident. I called CBW if I could see the clip of the incident.. and this is what I saw.. There was a dog mounting my dog.. and the whole time that was happening the employee had his back turned and was not aware of what was happening. When the employee finally turned around, that's when my dog was trying to tell the other dog to back off. Then the employee jumped into conclusion and attempted to grab my dog from behind by the collar until he's standing on 2 legs because he assumed my dog was being aggressive. Now imagine.. My dog was already being bullied by a dog and then comes a human. He felt threatened and probably felt ganged up on and acted out out of self defense. I spoke to the manager after seeing that video to go over what happened because I wanted to tell her how I felt about it but the whole time she talked over me, dismissed me a lot, and didn't give me the chance to speak. I just wanted to get it off my chest but that conversation left me feeling so defeated and unheard. The manager explained to me that the employee can't keep his eyes on all dogs.. so ask yourself again, why is there only one employee watching a bunch of dogs? Why didn't the employee use a slip lead to remove him, why didn't he create space before stepping in?. It was a fully failed attempt to diffuse, and my dog got the bad end of it all and was punished unfairly. I'm glad I watched the clip before judging my dog, and you can bet I pat him on the back and was proud of him for standing up for himself because I would've done the same. A non aggression dog bitting in self defense if grabbed by the collar too hard. I couldn't blame him. Moving forward, I just hope no one will have to go through what my dog and I went through, and I only wish that they hire or train their employees properly to avoid another situation like this. I feel bad for the employee who got bit, but could've that be avoided? Absolutely, with proper training.

We were able to schedule this by telephone, but not online. My animal was seen as soon as they were finished with a different emergent situation. They were not able to complete the recommended treatment plan same-day as their office was closing soon, but we were able to bring our animal back in the next morning for the doctor to complete the recommended treatment plan. We did go home with medicine that night, though - pain medication and antibiotics. When deciding between the treatment options, the staff brought out a few pages with options and clear pricing estimates. This allowed for us to not only make a sound choice for treatment as the owners, but also fully understand the estimated costs that would be coming. We really liked this especially as owners without animal insurance. Overall it was a great experience. We would recommend Ridgetop to any owner whose animal needs urgent, same-day medical attention - just call, do not go off of their website!

However....on July 7th at 10:15am, whichever front desk assistant was working, needs customer service training right away!! We called because after our pups 3 year annual check up on April 30th m, we told the doctor that the Trio tablets he was taking was difficult for him and would always spit it out. This is the heart worm, flea and ticker pill. We asked to change to the NEX/Heartgard chewables because he liked those. No problem. They put in order for us to pick up at Costco after is May pill to start in June. This is where everything after went downhill. Called the VCA end of May for the order. Asked about Heartgard Plus and they said it wouldn't be a problem and we'd pick it up from Costco. Went to Costco to pick up the medication and almost couldn't get it because our pups name was spelled wrong. Then they had some other address on Silverdale Way (where we never lived before in our lives) but thankfully our phone number and my name was right. The order was just the NEXgard. Ok..... So I called the VCA and asked if we could still the place a prescription order for the Heartgard Plus or just the Heartgard because Costco only gave us the NEXgard. The lady states "we don't carry Nexgard or Heartgard". I said that I know and that's why we had the prescription ordered to Costco. She then states "How about we start with your name" which I did state who I was in the beginning but...got it. Then she proceeds to tell me that our pup "would need to be tested for heart worms before on a medication otherwise he'd die". That's where I was turned off quickly. He JUST had his annual check up, why didn't they do it then? I told her that I saw his screening need to be done in March and we were told that was part of it. Nope! Called the other VCA on Bucklin Hill and they asked the same questions I did. In short, we went to VCA for our pup at Bucklin Hill for an emergency and the staff was wonderful, unlike the one here on Bryon St. There's literally no parking here. Office is small. Doctors are short with you as well to get you in and out. Definitely just business here and not community friendly.
