Today I was asked to leave and belittled in front of everyone while I was bathing a dog. It has come to my attention that the employers have been doing some things that they shouldn't be, and then some. They go as follows: 1) when they tell you there is no daycare fee when your dog is getting groomed, they're lying. $10-$20 is taken off the end price to pay for daycare. I've stood there and listened while the owner has lied to the client "oh there's no day care fee" but there is. 2) 40% of the tips that they client so graciously gives to us groomers is being taken and kept by the owner. When I started I was told that that 40% was given to the girls at the front cause they're amazing and do everything for us like clean and book dogs. Well they lied to me. Those girls have never seen a portion of the tips and they never will.. I was more than happy to give some to those girls cause they deserve it. Then I was told that I MISHEARD what I was told but I definitely did NOT mishear. 3) daycare is over filled with dogs to the point that the amazing day care workers who work so hard have a hard time keeping track of all the dogs, leading to dog fights. The girls and the dogs are all so amazing but the owners are money hungry and don't care that there's too many dogs to handle. 4) hot water runs out within an hour or so of the day. Due to time constraints some dogs are forced to be bathed in ice cold water. The fact that so. You money is being taken from the groomers and the daycare and yet they still can't afford to update anything that would help for the well-being of the dogs and the groomers is beyond me. They also blame the fact that they can't afford a new hot water heater (they've been saying this for over a year now) on the groomers. 5) the owner does so many wrong things that are far beyond a professional business that it makes it hard to even know what is do be done with a dog for a haircut. All dogs should be assessed at take in (I've managed a grooming salon for years) to ensure the pet parents knows and the groomer knows what the best option is for the groom. Often time so frazzled there are no notes written and the parents are often times needed to be called to change grooming plans when it could all be done first thing at drop off. 6) mould under the tubs. 7) everything possible is done so that they don't have to pay GST. All cash/cheque/e-transfer so there's no paper trail. 8) constantly reprimanding employees for such small things like not training someone right and getting mad at them for not knowing they were supposed to do things or literally just being jerks for no reason. It's toxic. Today I was told that everything was fine until I got there, but that is just not the case. The girls there are so amazing and so talented, and the daycare dogs sometimes are the best parts of my days. But the owner told me to pack my shit and go and watched me so that I "wouldn't steal anything" and all the while I was just bathing a dog and minding my own business. I was going to just switch jobs and leave it at that but now I've been let go just before Christmas, belittled and so disrespected, I can't let any of this go and I will keep fighting until something is done about how things are run there. The employees and you all as clients deserve so much better. No one deserves to be treated the way I was today and as I have seen other employees be treated there. I'm copying this and I will continue to post if it is deleted.

I know all the staff personally and they are all wonderful people. My dog is not only happy to go there but comes back looking absolutely perfect every time and to add he is white and come home even more white.I LOVE WAGSMORE and am grateful to be a client and would give them a 10 if I could, but a very well respected establishment is hard to get into in a couple of days for just those reasons. I can say I know over 8 people who take their dogs to Wagsmore the dogs are off all sizes breeds and temperament and all those people feel exactly the same we love WAGSMORE and the team of absolutely amazing people who make that place amazing. And please know this they do fundraising and take donations for shelter and sooooo much more, so they are not in it for themselves they are actually care about our most precious friends our beloved pets our fur babies and most loved companions our dogs!!!!!! I personally cannot say one bad word about this place and myself and my friends that go there as well are BEYOND GRATEFUL Thank you WAGSMORE from us and our fur babies for being the great establishment that you truly are always Bailey and Carolyn

She was only about 10 months old and had a lot of separation anxiety; after our first experience at another groomer's, she shook like a leaf, didn't play, and didn't eat for 24 hours. I was very tentative when I took her to the Grooming Studio, but the interior was beautiful and the atmosphere was much more welcoming and up-scale from the last groomer we had been to. They began by soothing Havarti: petting her gently and offering her treats. They used her name and treated her like I would. They're always busy here, but it's never a 'hectic' mood, which is important because animals are so sensitive to that. When I came back to get Havarti, she was sparkling clean and all the hair was out of her eyes. She even had a cute little bandana tied around her (they always do a bandana or bow). Her tail was wagging when she saw me, and she was her normal self. I don't know whether it was the environment, less noise, or the fantastic staff, but some aspect of the Grooming Studio completely shifted my nervous little puppy's grooming experience. They also sell beautiful collars and you can bring your own pet shampoo in if you are particular. I will always take her back here!

The facility is also well taken care of. Puppy Training - we really enjoyed our introductory puppy training class. It was a great way to introduce our pup to new dogs, people and experiences. The instructors were very knowledgable and willing to answer all questions. They seemed genuinely interested in every family. Daycare - our puppy started out loving daycare but as time went on he was more and more hesitant to go in. I doubt this had anything to do with Sadie's but more a result of his personality and experiences changing. He was going just once a week and maybe it wasn't the right routine. The staff always assured us that he had a great time once he was in and playing. It was also nice to see him on the webcam (when it was working). Grooming - after a bad experience elsewhere, we were pleased to discover Sadie's also offers grooming. Our pup always looks good after a wash and cut. He seems to enjoy the experience (or at least not dread it ;) I still think it's crazy that I pay more at his salon than I do at my own but I'm also not prepared to start doing it myself.
