Wow! Where to begin, I cannot say enough great things about Sadie's K9 Stay and play! We have a red heeler / collie cross little girl named Zoey when she was about 8-9 months we decided to send her to daycare to get some socialization and some energy out, after trying out various doggie daycares within the city and surrounding areas we were feeling like daycare was a waste of our money as some days she would be as wired as she was when she was when dropped off, and some mornings she seemed very scared and resistant to go to. Then we heard about Sadie's, we put her name down for the enrollment exam and we waited anxiously. The day finally came for her enrollment test and voila after putting her through a few temperament and obedience tests she was in! We were so excited! We instantly could see a difference in her energy level after going to Sadie's, it is a great outlet for her! I believe it was her second week at Sadie's and upon my arrival to pick her up I noticed her wearing a backpack which I was thrilled about! She is a working breed and to see that they took the time to cater to specific breeds I fell even more in love with Sadie's and all of their staff! As Zoey hit her one year mark we decided to enroll her in the K9 basics class with Alecia, with lack of training knowledge on our end she was beginning to rule the house and was becoming unmanageable on walks. The very first K9 basics class where the dogs are involved I was a nervous mess basically in tears in the parking lot. Zoey was demonstrating her leash reactivity, Alecia noticed us hiding out and calmly walked over and gave some quick instruction on how I can correct her, It was like the perfect little pep talk for me to gain some courage knowing I had someone who genuinely cared about my dogs behaviour instructing our class. After 5 weeks of the k9basics class we are happy to say Zoey graduated! and now has greatly improved her focus and is so much more obedient to our commands. Before our Sadie's experience Zoey was headed down a dark path,we were facing the tough decision of rehoming her to a relative that lives outside of the city with more space for her to be free ( Heart breaking I know, I never could have let her go) I cannot thank Sadie's and their staff enough for being so supportive and giving us the right tools and techniques to be able to have the knowledge to train our sweet girl! Sadies treats our mutts like they are family. You can watch the live video feed into the daycare, and see what your pooches are up to anytime. With the way the staff interact with the dogs (on camera and in person), you get a real sense that they love your pets as much as you do. We've run into a few of the staff at local parks on weekends and my pups greet those gals the same way they greet me when I come home -- big jumps, licks and lots of waggy tails.... my mutts love these people. To go the extra mile, Sadies even posts cool social media photos of the dogs having fun (birthday hats on special days, xmas parties, play time fun in the sunshine) -- my mutt's winning smile gets tons of "likes" and he has a bigger following on Instagram than I do . Sadies is in the community and an important part of it -- they sponsor charity donation events (e.g. photos with Santa), they have product and service booths at the summer dog festivals, and they do important work with local dog rescue organizations as a food and supply drop off for donations. These guys aren't just a place to stick the dogs when you aren't home, they are a big, active part of the total pet care community. Every week on daycare day, the mutts come home, exhausted, and the humans return happy too, well-armed with notes about how doggy's day went, and even training and behavior tips for how help your guys be better citizens. I love the hand-written report cards. We've used Sadies for puppy classes and training, basic grooming, small purchases in their shop, and of course the daycare services. Prices are reasonable and care is highly evident. Wouldn't use anyone else. Top notch. read more

We love Sadie's! I am a new dog owner and signed our rescue pup up for Basics Training. We had a great time, learned so much and felt really supported by the knowledgeable and approachable trainers and other staff. I'm now in the Advanced Training and enjoying it also - and the prices are very decent for good quality instruction and class time. They have a daycare which we've just started going to and I think they almost love my dog as much (or more) than I do!! I have no issues leaving him there because of the huge amount of love and attention they show us - you can tell they truly, 100% are passionate about dogs and it has certainly inspired me to learn more and foster a deeper bond with my dog. They are patient and engaged every time I ask a million questions and do not adopt a 'one method fits all' mentality when working with you and your dogs. I also find the other patrons to be very friendly towards one another, which speaks to it's positive community-minded atmosphere. They have a shop with toys and food, and grooming services available as well. The Sadie's staff also seem pretty involved with local rescue and foster agencies...it definitely has more of a 'community centre' for dogs vibe than just a business. Great work Sadie's! read more

Sadie's K9 Stay and Play saved me and my dog. When Lola, my weimaraner, first came to us (as a rescue), she was a puppy with a lot of issues - separation anxiety, biting, jumping up.... just way, way, way too much undirected energy. In fact, although I didn't really need a dog daycare because I worked from home, I needed to get away from my puppy because she was driving me crazy! Lola spent about a year being 'a daycare dog' once or twice a week. During that time, Alecia - the daycare manager, and the rest of the daycare staff did everything possible to help calm Lola down. On days where she was really wired, they trained her to run on the treadmill. Occasionally, she 'worked' in the office with Alecia. The staff at Sadie's really went ABOVE AND BEYOND as they researched the breed and techniques to help (mostly with her anxiety over being separated from me). They also put me in touch with a remarkable trainer that helped me even further with Lola. Last spring, we decided Lola wasn't really cut out for daycare.... but the great thing was - she was manageable. I can honestly say that Lola is a 'good dog' now, and Sadie's K Stay and Play has a lot to do with that! read more

COULD NOT BE HAPPIER We were referred to obedience classes at Sadie's by a friend, and are so, SO glad we called them up! In addition to a huge doggie daycare (with a pup cam you can watch your pooches on during the day, and daily Instagram photos of the patrons), Sadie's also offers a 5 Star doggie school. Our trainer was Alecia. She was friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. She was an excellent medium for dog-to-people communication. She teaches a positive reinforcement style (no hitting or clicker here) and it really, really worked for us. Our once hooligan 120lb Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever cross has been lovingly tamed and now has excellent recall and manors. Since graduation, we have even stopped by and she remembered us and our dog (by name!) and was available for some troubleshooting in regards to introducing our dog to our new renter's surly American Staffy. Sadie's also offers discounts for rescues; to me, this only reinforces their love for dogs over business. I can't say enough good things about Sadie's and HIGHLY recommend. read more

This daycare is fantastic! They always take the time to treat me and my dog with the utmost care and attention. Not only are they flexible and fantastic with arranging dates/times, but they are always willing to answer any question. Upon visiting this location during the day you'll notice PLENTY of staff. Dogs are never left unattended and are always encouraged to be engaging in positive play. They have tons of space and multiple rooms to ensure our dogs are always in a group of well suited pups. I have, on various occasions, gone into the facility with questions or concerns about my dog's behaviour and they have always gone out of their way to give me suggestions and tips along with articles and brochures that could also help. I trust their staff completely; everyone is always kind to the dogs and they have pet first aid which is awesome. They are constantly providing feedback AND report cards!!! How great is that! I would and DO go out of my way to recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone who has a furry loved one. read more

We could not be happier with Sadie's and highly recommend the training and daycare. Our dog Chandra is was from Second Chance and was very timid and fearful when she first came to us. Through basic training and daycare atleast once a week she has become much more confident. At the initial assessment the staff was not sure if she was ready, but they gave her a chance and helped her become more comfortable. We felt the assessment and introduction process was appropriate, and we're confident that she and the other dogs were being well looked after. Now she has a blast at daycare! Each staff member has taken the time to get to know her and they always have a good or funny story to share about her day. We love that we get to see how well she is doing and how much fun she is having on Instagram. I can not say enough about the staff of Sadie's K9 Stay and Play. My Maggi Mae has been going there since she was a 4 month old pup, her and I have taken all of her training classes there in the evenings. What really stands out for me was the day when Maggi had eaten something ( I did not know of what) on our morning walk before going to Sadie's. I got a call at work around noon saying she collapsed and they were rushing her to the vet. They rushed to our vet and because of their fast response the vet said it saved Maggi from having toxin damage to her organs. Our rescue pup has been going to Sadie's since she was four months old. She started by taking two classes with Steph which were great! She learned a lot, and more importantly so did my husband and I. Then she started going to the daycare twice a week, and she loves it! The staff are amazing. Very skilled with handling dogs, and they treat all the pups as if they were their own. When I drop my dog off in the morning, I feel like I'm leaving her with family which is nice so we don't have to worry about her throughout the day. We first starting taking our puppy carrie to Sadies for puppy training. Carrie (and us) learnt so much. We get so many compliments on how well mannered she is. After she graduated, we put her in daycare once a week. She knows when its daycare day and gets so excited.
