Proof I had appointments at both locations
    Tracy N.

I've legit have had it with the LAZIEST EMPLOYEES in the state of TEXAS can be located at any one of your local PetSmarts. They don't care about your PETS or the value of the Customers time. When they don't feel like working they just go into the System and Cancel your Appointments. This is now the THIRD time I've had this happen with TWO separate STORES. Sherman TEXAS PetSmart is absolutely Appalling. Their Gold Medal Winners of the LAZIEST PeTSMART Employees in the USA. Not only did I have an appointment on January 18th I showed up 15 minutes Early and was told that the GROOMER had just LEFT for LUNCH knowing she had an EXPRESS GROOMING Appointment. Then I was told she left because she had a Stressful Morning and should be back in 30 Minutes and they would call me as soon as she returned. I sat in my car for 45 minutes no call ever came. In November I made an Appointment for my dog to be groomed before we traveled for Christmas. Then night before at 8pm I get a call from the Grooming department at Sherman PetSmart informing me my appointment had been cancelled due to the groomer being sick. So I rescheduled Jojo's appointment for after the Holidays this was the First Time it was Canceled By someone other then myself. Now today after Confirming the Appointment on the app and fully checking in. I go on the application to get the Address of the McKinney store since I'd never been and SOB if my Appointment isn't cancelled AGAIN. The employee after informing this is NOT their problem it's MY problem. As I was typing this I got a call from the Manager of the McKinney Store. Y'all you can't make this Shit UP. Indeed they Canceled my Appointment. He seemed Genuine about his apology. His excuse isn't sitting well. Nonetheless I have a New appointment tomorrow MY Experience Expressed above is STAYING. I'll update my Review about the McKinney Store Tomorrow im Copying and Pasting this Review to the Sherman store. Not one person has Addressed all the Hours I've spent Driving to Appointment that Employees canceled or Walked Out on like last Thursday at the Sherman Store. I've still NOT heard from the Sherman Store Manager BRIAN. Brian seems to be where the problem is Starting!!!!!

Grooming appointment for my Pomeranian is not what I wanted. The 3rd photo is before for reference. I specifically said to keep his hair long on his tail and behind and just barely trim around the body just to even out the hair. I dropped him off at 2pm and picked him up at 4:45pm(15 min before close). His cut is choppy, not what I wanted at all and while I had a crying fussy baby, they just said "well maybe they overlooked the notes because it does say to keep it kind of long and just trim. Well I don't know what to do about that." Maybe a discount or something? I'm so angry. Last time I bring my dog here if they're not going to listen to what I want. I specifically let his hair grow out to do a light trim not cut it all off and paid a little over $90 for his bath and cut. Every time I go to PetSmart for his bath and cut, it's expensive and something is always wrong. The time before this, I don't know what they did to one of his paws but when we got home he was limping and licking his front paw excessively which he didn't do before. I couldn't figure out what it was but I figured it was just hair caught in between his toes or something.

She is patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and always up to date on the best training approaches, but what makes her especially amazing is how deeply she genuinely cares. Because of Sally, our dog is so well mannered, everyone we meet comments on how well behaved our dog is. That's a direct reflection of her consistency and dedication. Sally has been there for us through training, boarding, board-and-train, and daycare, and I have never once worried about leaving our dog in her hands. Her place truly feels like our dog's second home, and that kind of trust means everything. Her assistant, Sam, is also wonderful, kind, attentive, and clearly just as caring with the dogs. They also go above and beyond with enrichment and socializing, taking the dogs on walks, to dog parks, and even on beach outings. Thanks to the socialization and experiences they provide, our dog's confidence has grown so much. One of the sweetest things Sally did was throw a birthday party at daycare for our girl's first birthday and her dog friends. It was such a special memory and just shows how much love she puts into what she does. If you're looking for someone who will love your dog as much as you do, Sally is your person. I highly recommend her! Thank you Sally and Sam!

After our first session with Shawn at our home, she wrote us a very long email with her analysis on Mila's emotions and why she does what she does, what gear to buy her to protect her and others, and what to incentivize her with. Mila is afraid of most new people, especially women, and COVID really took a toll on her because it put a halt to all our hard work in socializing her. Shawn knew exactly what to do and gave us tips on how to be consistent with her even after our appointment. The best part about Shawn is she will answer the phone or text us whenever we have a question. So it isn't just about the hour and a half you have with her, it is an on-going relationship and resource. Mila isn't completely over her fears, but we haven't had a growl/ bark incident since Shawn because we have been taught how to react properly. In addition, Mind Body Dog boards pups too, which I can't wait to try since Mila will be learning while she is there. I'm very thankful for meeting Shawn and Mila is too!

Teddy a sweet pup but struggled with anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding and was VERY sensitive to being touched and would often lash out or try to bite. We were really worried about how to help him and how to curb some of these bad habits we'd no doubt reinforced with our own behavior. When I called Brett for the initial consult, he was patient, understanding but also honest and direct about the time and effort it would take and the changes we would have to make to have a real impact. We were open to the feedback and committed to making a change in and out of our home. WOW. We've been working with Brett consistently for 3 months and Teddy is like a new dog. He is calmer, happier, more obedient, and much more confident and tolerate of being touched (especially on sensitive areas like his paws!). Our friends and family have all been shocked at the noticeable difference in Teddy's overall demeanor (happier and calmer!) and behavior. Our groomer asked us what had changed as he was so much calmer and happier to deal with. I want to be clear this is no "magic pill" we put in the work but with Brett's guidance and structure, we cannot believe the results. Teddy is of course still a work in progress and we have more work to do, but seeing the progress he's made in such a short amount of time with Brett's thoughtful approach has been so exciting. Brett truly understands dogs and their psychology and this makes him a true expert. Just know that part of the training process is training your pup but also training yourself to adjust your own behaviors to create a positive outcome long term for everyone. We cannot recommend Brett enough!!!

Top-Tier Master Trainer! Brett transforms crazy dogs by training the owners. My German Shepherd,…read moreLucy, was in a shelter for over four months before I got her at around eight months old, so you can imagine how completely chaotic, spastic, and misbehaved she was. I was entirely overwhelmed and at my wit's end trying to manage her behaviors. When I hired Brett, I'll admit I fought him along the way on some of the training protocols--but in the end, he was correct about EVERYTHING. The most vital thing for difficult or frustrated dog owners to understand is that Brett's training isn't just about fixing the dog; it is primarily about training YOU, the owner. He provides an exceptional structure and leadership framework, but it only works if you are willing to check your own habits, get on board, and consistently follow through as a pack leader. His methods are incredibly kind, humane, and highly effective at correcting severe behavioral issues. Today, I am so incredibly happy with how my once-crazy dog has turned out. Thanks to Brett, Lucy is a wonderful companion who listens perfectly, handles major environment changes like moving to Downtown LA beautifully, and doesn't react to other people or animals anymore. Having her in my life has truly become the amazing journey I always hoped it would be. If you are willing to put in the work on your end, Brett is absolutely the best master trainer you can find!

It's also nice that the dogs can mingle before or after class (I've been to another trainer where all the dogs were petitioned off and cannot see one another). Her class is easy to follow and I love how at the start of each class, she asks how everything is going and if there's something specific that people need help with. If there is, then we'll start with that, if not, then we do a quick review and start to learn something new. Time goes by in her classes because we are all having fun! If you have a dog that is not ready to be with a group of dogs, you can still attend! She'll have you and your dog be further away from the group so you can still see/learn. I have seen my friend's dog, Max, go from a dog that just barks the entire time in the parking lot to a trained puppy in the main group! Her methods work and they work right away, but you do have to keep practicing with your four-legged friend. You can't expect to go to her classes once a week and have your dog trained. At Puppy Socials at the studio, there are two groups, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. She and her assistant will monitor the dogs and make sure that they are not being too aggressive or teach the shy puppies how to make their way out to shine (and they do after taking a couple of Puppy Social sessions!). You can also session private socials with just a couple dogs in the studio. Jacqueline loves animals and has extensive knowledge of them. She always puts the animal first. I want the best for my puppies, so I asked so many different people where and how they trained their dogs. I received a few suggestions, but decided to do my own search...and I'm glad I did. Leo (Owner) and his amazing team of trainers TRULY care about the pups they train. Leo came to my home and wanted to meet me and my pups before I had to decide on making any decisions. After sitting down with him for about half an hour, I knew I found what I was looking for: Someone who wants me to have healthy and happy dogs. I signed up for the in-home training at first which is Leo coming to the house and training me on how to train my puppies (Archie and Charlie just turned 6 months and started with Leo and his team when they were 4.5). Very quickly, I realized I could not handle training both these puppies the way they needed to be trained. I discussed with Leo and decided to do a Board & Train. I like the schedule because I get to take the puppies on the weekends to spend time with me. Don't get me wrong, you NEED to train your pups on the weekends, but it's worth it and FUN. Archie has become the Puppy King (no offense to other puppies or their owners )). Charlie has a lot more energy, but has improved immensely! Leo's trainers are so caring. I feel my dogs get love with their training when they're not with me, and I couldn't ask for more. I see their excitement whenever I visit about improvements and milestones that Archie and Charlie achieved. They gleam with as much pride as I do. I honestly don't know where my pups OR I would be without the help of this AMAZING Team! If I could give 10 stars out of 5 stars, I would!
