My baby after a training day. It was fun! Slept soundly that night :)

Hudson is fantastic! He worked with my young Weimaraner/Black Lab mix on separation anxiety and gave us fun, effective ways to keep her mentally stimulated. Even with 20+ years of dog experience myself, I learned so much. He's energetic, professional, and very intuitive. Highly recommend!

The best trainer you could possibly hire. My 90lb reactive rescue dog has massively chilled out, learned precise recall, and happily stays by our side on walks. He can now get a lot closer to dogs on walks, when he used to lose his mind even hearing another dog. Also best of all, Hudson only uses positive work with our dog, no punishment. He has helped our dog become much much more mentally healthy.

Hudson with Best Dogs Ever changed my life with one phone call. He never judged my bad habits and guided me throughly by providing me with a peace of mind and a safe puppy. Casper & I thank you for being there for us We love you!

I consulted with Hudson last August regarding my pup Sage who has separation anxiety; I could not leave the home without Sage panicking. Hudson provided clear instructions for how to support Sage with being calm when I left and linked me to respected specialists for further training. We started the separation anxiety training well ahead of the curve because Hudson got us off to such a good start - he knows his stuff! I'm so grateful to Hudson for giving us hope, encouragement, and skilled advice.

We are currently working on taking the CGC - Canine Good Citizen test for Leia. I like the option of lessoning in the park where there are more distractions for the dogs. It's also nice that the dogs can mingle before or after class (I've been to another trainer where all the dogs were petitioned off and cannot see one another). Her class is easy to follow and I love how at the start of each class, she asks how everything is going and if there's something specific that people need help with. If there is, then we'll start with that, if not, then we do a quick review and start to learn something new. Time goes by in her classes because we are all having fun! If you have a dog that is not ready to be with a group of dogs, you can still attend! She'll have you and your dog be further away from the group so you can still see/learn. I have seen my friend's dog, Max, go from a dog that just barks the entire time in the parking lot to a trained puppy in the main group! Her methods work and they work right away, but you do have to keep practicing with your four-legged friend. You can't expect to go to her classes once a week and have your dog trained. At Puppy Socials at the studio, there are two groups, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. She and her assistant will monitor the dogs and make sure that they are not being too aggressive or teach the shy puppies how to make their way out to shine (and they do after taking a couple of Puppy Social sessions!). You can also session private socials with just a couple dogs in the studio. Jacqueline loves animals and has extensive knowledge of them. She always puts the animal first. She has degrees in Exotic Animal Training, Animal Behavior Management, Wildlife Education & Sociology. She's very flexible with scheduling and will help make timing work for her clients. I highly recommend Jacqueline and LA Dog's Trainer to everyone!

Brett is fantastic. We have worked with many different trainers to help with our rescue pup Teddy…read more(3.5, labradoodle) with little to no lasting success and we were starting to worry. Teddy a sweet pup but struggled with anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding and was VERY sensitive to being touched and would often lash out or try to bite. We were really worried about how to help him and how to curb some of these bad habits we'd no doubt reinforced with our own behavior. When I called Brett for the initial consult, he was patient, understanding but also honest and direct about the time and effort it would take and the changes we would have to make to have a real impact. We were open to the feedback and committed to making a change in and out of our home. WOW. We've been working with Brett consistently for 3 months and Teddy is like a new dog. He is calmer, happier, more obedient, and much more confident and tolerate of being touched (especially on sensitive areas like his paws!). Our friends and family have all been shocked at the noticeable difference in Teddy's overall demeanor (happier and calmer!) and behavior. Our groomer asked us what had changed as he was so much calmer and happier to deal with. I want to be clear this is no "magic pill" we put in the work but with Brett's guidance and structure, we cannot believe the results. Teddy is of course still a work in progress and we have more work to do, but seeing the progress he's made in such a short amount of time with Brett's thoughtful approach has been so exciting. Brett truly understands dogs and their psychology and this makes him a true expert. Just know that part of the training process is training your pup but also training yourself to adjust your own behaviors to create a positive outcome long term for everyone. We cannot recommend Brett enough!!!

I was entirely overwhelmed and at my wit's end trying to manage her behaviors. When I hired Brett, I'll admit I fought him along the way on some of the training protocols--but in the end, he was correct about EVERYTHING. The most vital thing for difficult or frustrated dog owners to understand is that Brett's training isn't just about fixing the dog; it is primarily about training YOU, the owner. He provides an exceptional structure and leadership framework, but it only works if you are willing to check your own habits, get on board, and consistently follow through as a pack leader. His methods are incredibly kind, humane, and highly effective at correcting severe behavioral issues. Today, I am so incredibly happy with how my once-crazy dog has turned out. Thanks to Brett, Lucy is a wonderful companion who listens perfectly, handles major environment changes like moving to Downtown LA beautifully, and doesn't react to other people or animals anymore. Having her in my life has truly become the amazing journey I always hoped it would be. If you are willing to put in the work on your end, Brett is absolutely the best master trainer you can find!

We enrolled Poppy, our 4 month old puppy at the time, in their 10-day reverse board-and-train program. I wasn't expecting her to come out perfectly trained in 10 days, but I did expect the level of intensive training they advertised on their site. The trainer we got was sweet and had a calm energy, which I liked since Poppy was skittish around new people. But the actual training didn't come close to matching what was promised. We have security cameras at home, so I could see exactly what was happening while we were gone. Most days were only 5-10 minutes of actual training. The rest of the time the trainer was watching TV or on her phone. If we'd wanted someone to watch TV with our puppy, we could've asked a neighbor for free. By the end of it, Poppy knew "sit" and "down" and not much else. The separation anxiety and potty training work we'd specifically talked about before signing up hadn't really progressed. I want to be clear, my problem wasn't that she wasn't fully trained in 10 days. It's that we paid for a specific service and didn't get it. I emailed the owner, Jeff, sent him the video clips, and asked for a partial refund. He wouldn't address any of it directly, just offered services that were already included in our package and turned down the refund. Then he was rude to my husband on the phone, which threw me because my husband is about as easygoing as they come and almost never gets worked up over anything. I also found it concerning that the exit document I was given included a clause saying clients agreed not to post negative reviews. I never signed it, but seeing that made me question how much honest customer feedback actually makes it online. Super shady. We ended up going with a different trainer afterward, and Poppy turned out exactly how we'd expected her to after actual, consistent training. Maybe we just got unlucky with the trainer. I can only go off our own experience, but between the training we actually received and how they handled it afterward, I wouldn't recommend them.

We met the team at K9 Logic Dog Training and they assessed our dog and determined what kind of training program would be best for him to address his separation anxiety and the other skills we wanted to work on. Within a week we noticed progress. We finally were able to leave the house for an hour and go to the market together. Week by week the time has gradually gotten longer where we have been able to leave him alone for longer periods of time to reclaim our social life back. You can genuinely tell they truly care about the dogs they work with and understand each dog individually. The bond Phoenyx built with Devin was incredible. When she came back to the BayArea, she would cry and whine for him for almost a month .. that's how attached she became to him. It honestly showed us how much trust, structure and connection he gave her during training. Phoenyx came back so much more confident, focused, and overall balanced. I brought him there because I had several specific behavioral issues I wanted addressed and trusted that I was leaving him with professionals. A few days into the program, I was contacted because Luka had stopped eating, and I was told to come pick him up. Throughout the process, I repeatedly asked for photos and videos of Luka. Simon, the owner, had told me that photos/videos would be provided, but I received nothing. To this day, I have no idea what happened during the time my dog was in their care or what training methods were actually used with him. What was most upsetting was the condition Luka was in when I got him back. The behavioral issues I specifically brought him there to address had not improved, and in my experience, he came home more fearful and more aggressive than before. I picked up a dog who seemed more frightened than when I dropped him off. Afterward, Simon suggested one-on-one training, but considering I had already spent $3,500 and had no visibility into what had happened during the board-and-train, I had lost confidence in the process. I was then told that I needed to "re-commit" to my dog and "rebond" with him, which was incredibly frustrating to hear after trusting them with my dog and paying thousands of dollars for professional help. The difference with my current trainer has been unbelievable. After only TWO sessions, Luka is practically unrecognizable in the best possible way. I'm finally seeing the behavioral improvements I had originally paid Andy's Elite Canine thousands of dollars to help me achieve. I rarely feel this strongly about leaving a negative review, but when it comes to trusting someone with your dog, especially overnight and out of your sight, transparency and trust are everything. Based on my experience, I would never leave my dog in their care again and cannot recommend them.
