ZERO start. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I brought my dog in for a grooming appointment, expecting the basic level of care and professionalism. Instead, they kept my dog in a cage for THREE HOURS without doing a single thing. I was called 3 hours after my appointment time to tell me he was ready for pick up but they only did a bath because there had been an "emergency" with the appointment before mine, and the groomer had to leave! So not only was my dog left sitting in a cage stressed out and confused, but no one even bothered to contact me. And the cherry on top? Management's response was a half-hearted, "Sorry." No attempt to make it right. No genuine concern. Just a brush-off. This is not how you treat animals--or your customers. I'll never be back, and I'll be warning every dog owner I know to stay far away from this place. read more

I brought my 2 goldendoodles In with specific instructions. This is what my doodle looks like. They gave us our money back but that doesn't even compare what they did to my dog. Disgusting and unprofessional. Do not get your dogs groomed here. They shaved her face and body. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was trying to adopt a cat with my lovely family, and we found this wonderful cat named Melvin. We wanted to adopt this cat but some employee named April would not let us without adopting another cat or already having one! She was very rude and disrespectful. Melvin was very good cat just by himself, and wasnt even around the other cats the 2 TIMES we came. April was also very rude on the first day when we talked to her on the phone. I have had many cats in the past, am always home and playing with the cats, and I have two girls who love playing with the cats. I do not accept this type of attitude from this type of petsmart. 2 the poor review is entirely due to very poor scheduling policies. 4 1/2 hour for grooming is excessive when the estimate was 3 - 31/2 hours. I am a considerate patron. I try to pick up my dog promptly when he's finished and I know that he barks a lot in the kennel. So I don't plan other activities or errands so I'll be available. The groomer was extremely busy and overwhelmed. The staff blamed it on corporate policies for heavy scheduling. Why would a company the size of Pet Smart care so little about their employees that they make it systemically impossible for them to succeed and give good service? Regularly get my dog, Kona, a pawdicure at this location. She is a tough client as even at 11 years of age she still freaks out when getting her toe nails clipped. Perfectly fine for getting your routine supplies and food, however, if you care about the health and safety of small reptiles and mammals, don't support this location at all. Baby ball python is kept in an entirely inappropriate environment with no hide, and chameleon is stressed and dehydrated. Manager stated that the set up was "protocol", however if you have even an iota of knowledge about snakes, you'd understand that an adult hide is not appropriate and stressful for a baby ball python. Allison gave my silky terrier a bath and cut and she did an amazing job. He has back problems and is missing his front left leg and she was able to accommodate his special needs. I got him back looking just as handsome as ever. I highly recommend bringing your pet to see Allison for a cut. read more

Not only will I NEVER use their grooming services again, I will ensure that everyone I know knows about the experience that I had as well. I brought my 13 yo Standard Poodle in for grooming as he has been for YEARS and the groomer took it upon herself to SHAVE him. Standards have fluffy long ears and a top knot which he has had for his entire life and she SHAVED his ears bald and cut his top knot off. Additionally she shaved his ears and body and left the hair around his behind long and NOT shaved which is one of the areas that MUST be cut close on a poodle. I have before and after photos. Such an awful, awful, awful experience. His ear was also swollen and hurting for about a week after the grooming and he seemed shocked. No idea what happened to him while there with this groomer but he is a really easy, laid back and calm demeanored animal and he was scared. What saddens me the most aside from knowing he was likely hurt while there is that he is 13 and will likely never have the chance to grow back his long fluffy ears that he was known for. Additionally the groomer seemed shocked that I was shocked about his haircut. Fairly certain she had never seen or groomed a standard before. Your service SUCKS and you hurt my dog. This store is great! I had my pup groomed by Ariel and she was the sweetest thing. I had to reschedule my appointment 3 times (it was really my fault, not theirs) because I had to get my pup vaccinated and we had to reschedule to make sure that he did not have any adverse effects to the vaccination. They ended up giving me a 10% discount for my troubles!! That was very thoughtful. My dog got a bath, haircut, nails clipped, and his teeth brushed. He looks great! Probably the best grooming he has ever had! I wanted to add a tip onto the card transaction but they only take cash. However, due to COVID they were not accepting cash.... I didn't have any on me anyways. I felt awful and expressed to Ariel that I was really sorry about not being able to tip her. She responded with a smile and said "don't worry about it, I love what I do!" I really appreciated that comment during stressful, financial times like these. Great experience!
