Not long ago, Dr. Felz save my girl's life. Elle had developed pyometra and by the time the symptoms manifested, she was seriously ill, requiring immediate surgery. Dr. Felz discovered the previous vet had failed to remove all the uterus when Elle was spayed at 2 years of age. Surgery was touch and go as Elle's abdominal cavity was quite infected but with the skilled hands of Dr. Felz, Elle survived and fully healed. Recently, Dr. Felz performed another difficult surgery involving a tumor on Elle's upper eyelid. She was able to completely remove the tumor and its sack with no scarring or vision impairment. Dr. Felz is truly amazing. Elle is a senior gal being monitored for several issues. With the competent and devoted care she receives from Dr. Felz and her staff, Elle will be with me for several more years!

My heart broke when I saw what she did to him. This was not a minor mistake or a misunderstanding it was a complete disregard for explicit instructions and basic breed knowledge. Before the appointment, I made it crystal clear multiple times that clippers were NOT to be used on my dog under any circumstances. Pomeranians have a double coat that can be permanently damaged by clipping, sometimes never growing back correctly again. I even sent reference photos and was reassured directly that she would keep the coat longer and avoid anything that could compromise it. She did the opposite. She confidently LIED to me! Despite all of this, she proceeded to use clippers anyway completely ignoring my requests and the guidance I clearly provided. The result is devastating. My dog's coat now is uneven, stripped, blotchy, and potentially permanently compromised. For a breed where coat integrity is essential to health, insulation, and natural regulation, this is not cosmetic it's serious. What makes this even more upsetting is that this person is the MANAGER . Someone in that role should demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, technical skill, and respect for client instructions. Instead, I experienced the opposite. The outcome feels so careless that it honestly borders on intentional disregard. To add insult to injury, I was still charged for the service after my dog was returned to me in a condition I specifically worked to prevent. I demanded a refund otherwise they were fine with charging me. I was insulted and disgusted by her actions. I strongly urge anyone with a double-coated breed especially Pomeranians to think very carefully before trusting this salon. Please look closely at the before-and-after photos. They speak for themselves. This was emotionally upsetting, financially insulting, and potentially long-term damage to my dog. Cubes approx 24" wide x 15-18 " deep x 20" high. 3 walls of these towers in a room approx 18' wide x 14' deep with the front huge glass window on the 4 th wall looking out to the counter-entrance-center of reception. In the large middle area are all types of scratching boards, tunnels and other toys for the cats to enjoy one at a time in their daily stretch time outside of their 4 story 'condo'. Boarding cost $35 a day and they can feed/ or you bring their food toys blankets. They accept dogs too. Saw several very large dogs get picked up. They have three locations too! Súper find!

At 1:53 I saw my phone and called and they refused to come to our home even though I provided information on how to navigate the detour. They said they'd come back on Sunday and groom the dogs since they missed up Saturday. Sunday night when they never came by I texted and received this answer "no find someone else" ?! My guys are 14 and 16 1/2. One has heart disease and the older one has difficulty standing...because he's 16 1/2. I told her at the 1st appointment not to even bother messing with their teeth or trying to brush them because they both have dental disease and I apply spray and gel to their teeth myself. She always tried to apply the gel or spray anyway. If they gave her a hard time, that was her decision because shed already been told not to. They are less and less tolerant of having their nails trimmed, for several reasons. I was aware she was having difficulty doing their nails by the way she was speaking to me after their last visit but I brushed it off as her just being tired or whatever. If you work with animals in any capacity, especially as a groomer or as a vet tech (which I did my entire adult life until I became disabled a few years ago) then you know 99% of dogs and cats despise having their feet touched, let alone their nails trimmed. As someone who also had my own dog training business, if you can't or dont want to work with a client and their pet anymore, for whatever reason, then you find a professional way to TELL THEM. You dont ignore them and give them the runaround, especially when they've been a loyal client who's given you a fantastic review on Yelp. Im going back to taking my boys to their previous groomer who is at a pet hospital. I liked the mobile grooming because im disabled and driving is dang near impossible for me but I guess I have no choice now. We were always friendly towards eachother and she was always sending pictures throughout their grooming sessions, then its literally like she got tired of them. All she had to do was say she didn't want to groom my dogs anymore but she decided to go about it in the most unprofessional way. I really liked her grooming skills and found her prices very reasonable, especially since she was a mobile groomer. I wish she had talked to me about issues she may have been having with my dogs... or any dogs for that matter. Im a certified dog trainer and, as I said, worked as a vet tech; I could've given her some helpful advice on how to handle cats and dogs she might find difficult for a variety of reasons. It's her business to run as she pleases though. Even with all this said, I'd still say give her a chance, my old men always looked great after their time with her ‍. Hopefully going forward, she'll be more upfront and professional.
