Bought the wrong ones and thankfully got the cans so they were unopened and went right back to return them and get the right ones. We did need our prescription card in order to purchase it so make sure that you go to the Banfield desk in order to get that. I would recommend taking a picture of the card once you have it so it's handy for future purchases. The employees were friendly and answered all of our questions. We're new to having to get prescription food so we had lots of questions. The costs seem pretty average compared to what you see online for other retailers. Has an awesome breakfast kitchen menu delicious brioche egg bacon cheese sandwiches fresh made to order for only $6. Room very clean. Short 15 min walk to live music bars and shops. Valet parking was fast with attentive service. Also a great hotel to just valet if you don't need a hotel overnight and just want to park to walk to the live music area downtown. I don't stick with just one groomer however k have enjoyed that they groom my baby quickly and they give updates and make sure I get home back in a reasonable timeframe. I am very hurt and disappointed with PetSmart. I bought what I was told was a Labrador, which was meant to be a comfort for my grandfather after losing my grandmother. As the dog grew, it became clear she had traits of a pit bull. My grandfather was traumatized by pit bulls in his childhood, and after further confirmation, we realized she was not a lab at all, but a pit bull. We had no choice but to rehome her -- thankfully she's with a wonderful family now. On top of that, PetSmart has us locked into a year-long plan that they refuse to cancel, even though the dog we purchased was misrepresented from the start. This feels like a scam -- selling a dog under false pretenses and then binding the customer to a contract!!! Please think twice before buying a pet or signing up for any plan with PetSmart. They will keep you stuck and leave you heartbroken!! read more

As far as Pet Stores, go, this one is pretty good. They have all kinds of food, toys, supplies for your non-human family member(s), as well as additional non-humans if you wish to expand your family. Everything from cats and birds to reptiles and fish to rodents and kittens. Depending on the day, there may be an adoption person there who brings in animals from other areas. Lots of easy parking and they allow people to bring their pets into the store to shop, as well as for grooming. I get grooming done elsewhere so I can't comment on their work. One note is sometimes their is feces in the main pathway and I'm pretty sure it's from irresponsible owners who don't pick up after their animals. I didn't notice any baggies or places to dispose of said poo, but the store should be more proactive in cleaning up or banning people who don't curb their animals. If you need something for your pet, this store is as good as many of the others in the area. read more

Undoubtedly, the rudest manager I have ever seen in my life is working in this store. I had an appointment at 4:30pm for my persian cat and they pushed it to 2.00 pm because they said their online appointment system has made a mistake giving me 4:30 pm. Then when I arrived at 2:00 pm, the groomer told me I should wait because she has another appointment at 2:00 pm. I even accepted it without asking why they gave an duplicated appointment. Then she touched the cat skin and said she has matts under her neck and she can not do the hair cut. I said OK, leave the neck and do the haircut for the rest of body but she said our policy doesn't let me to do that (however in below reviews you can see they have done hair cut for the cats with matted hair and have even charged the customers for it). When I asked the reason and she didn't have any answer, I asked for a manager and it was the time when that rude guy came. He didn't have any reason as well and was just saying "I am not a grooming expert and my expert is saying we can not do this." Then he told me "don't waist your time, we are not going to give you service today"!! and "you should leave, otherwise I will call the cops"!!!! Just assume, you have an appointment at 4:30, they push it to 2:00 then at 2:00 they say you should wait an hour and half because they have another appointment at 2:00. Then they say because of the matted hair on the bottom of neck, they can not do the grooming for rest of the body and if you do not leave, they will call the cops. This is what Petsmart learn to his managers. Anyways, I again accepted their excuse and asked them to do just the bath and trimming (this has nothing to do with matted hair at all). But he still said no and keep threatening me with the cops. When I asked, why you don't do just bath and trim, he just told me we do not service you today. I told him, OK, I want to know this for my next appointment that if you do bath and trimming with matted hair or not. And he said, haha!! we are not going to give you any service at all and (again), if you don't leave here I will call the cops. Had my husky groomed and nails trimmed and they cut way too low which caused him to bleed. Did not tell me when I picked up or even stopped the bleeding so got all over my car. Mentioned the dog was mouthy yet did not have the decency to tell me they accidentally trimmed too low on his nail. I have been taking my 2 large dogs (an 85lb Rottweiler and an 120lb American Bulldog) to our Groomer Crystal for years. She is super sweet and genuinely loves dogs which makes me know they will be well taken care of. At the end of their visit they'll get their report cards and she's very informative and honest. I can even bring my own medicated shampoos or ear solutions for them and she'll use it at no additional charge. For booking appointments you can call the Petsmart store number or book it yourself online or through their mobile app. The mobile app is the easiest and less time consuming way to go for me. It even gives you an option to see what exact days and times are open for your specific groomer or bather. It allows you to work with your own schedule. This was a dog who always runs and jumps to play all day. Not sure what happened to my dog but I will never bring her back. This was a surprise to me because I did not receive any phone call notifying me in the change in groomer that I had not consulted with who did not know or understand what I wanted done. I called and spoke with him and he said that he had the picture I had shown and that I wanted to keep it very long which is not at all what I said. I wanted a slightly shorter cut than last time leaving the face fluffy like the picture and taking a bit off of the tail. He seemed to understand after but I was still worried being that he never groomed him. As soon as i picked him up I noticed between his eyes their was no hair and he looked ridiculous as if someone messed up on his face. We adopted a puppy that is 1 1/2 years old. She is a Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever mix, which we call a Great Golden Pyrenees. To get her set up at home, we stopped into PetSmart, spending a few hundreds of dollars on bedding, crate, leash, toys, food, treats, collar, leash, etc. One or two items didn't work out, so we returned them for immediate credit... no questions asked! We've been back for additional treats and food, as well as more toys. The store is clean, well-stocked; and, the staff is very helpful. I don't like giving bad reviews and I appreciate the deals at this place, but I was here this evening and watched a groomer continuously rip- and I mean rip- the fur out of a dogs inner ear. She was far from gentle and visibly changed her approach when she noticed us looking. The dog was barking and yelping. I had my dog groomed here when she was a puppy and she smelled and looked fabulous, but will NEVER bring her back here. I informed the manager over the phone and a clerk in the store of many recent reports of Natural Balance foods causing acute renal failure in cats and dogs--a highly probable melamine contamination. I said they should alert customers and possibly remove the food from shelves or reject shipments. She was very rude and said "it doesn't work like that... the COMPANY tells us what to do." Little does she know that recalls are issued at the voluntary discretion of the food manufacturer and that it is up to them as good human beings to do the right thing. It is worth noting that all of the employees were wearing shirts that said "Natural Balance" on them, so they are pushing this contaminated product. Overall, I cannot recommend PetSmart to anyone in good faith. Chewy.com has more competitive food prices and they have removed Natural Balance (in general its quality has declined since Del Monte purchased it in 2013). read more

This store is VERY LAXED about crowd control during COVID. I went in and it was packed. It was something I really needed, or I WOULD HAVE LEFT. People walk casually and slowly past you. Two stores down from the Waterford Petsmart is Torrid. When I left, I see they had people lined up outside before they let them in. NOT PETSMART! People did wear masks, but with that amount of people, that close, its still bad. It was Labor Day weekend and I think sales brought BIG CROWDS into the store. I have takem my dog here for vaccubes and to get his nails cut. Each time the experinec have been satisfactory. This tine I took hin for grooming and it was the best visit of all. They showered him, did his nails, brushed his teeth, put anti itch on him because of his sensitive skin, and put him a very cute bow tie. They also cleaned his bowel. The lady that took care of him was so polite and looked like she really enjoyed her job. She treated by baby with so much car and even told me what breed he was. He came out looking fabulous. I've never used the grooming/vet services - the people nor the animals ever look happy behind that glass to ever convince me to try it. However, I do love that they support local shelters ALL the time and always have animals for adoption there. It's really cool they team up like that for the betterness of the animals. I love the products offered as well and have gotten some great beginner dog trick training books there and love all the holiday themed stuff for pets too. I wish they offered organic choices more for birds/parrots and animals altogether but I order those online instead. Everything fun comes from them. The girly talkative (but just back and forth to each other) tellers are kind of obnoxious though. read more

But mind you, I'm a poodle owner and before taking my pup in we spoke about the cut, possible matting, and everything including in the package (ear plucking). The groomer said he DID NOT have any matted hair! He was supposed to have a 2 around the face and keep him a short fluffy so 6-7 plus his ear cleaning and nails clipped. When I came to pick up my pup. His hair is insanely short and ears where not plucked. Crazy part is I take my pup to Banfeild Hospital inside the same building and they told me how they slack very hard on doing ear plucking which is sad because you're paying for the service. Today I came to this store and I showed them the International Pet Passport which is translated and which was accepted by the US Customs when my dog came from Germany. In regards to store 731 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando FL : Stay far away from this store! The service that they provide at the salon is completely terrible. The staff are incompetent and negligent when it comes to taking care of animals. To start, when I dropped off my 5 month old German Shepherd puppy, Patrick (groomer) acknowledged that my puppies nails were too short to be trimmed. He was informed multiple times not to cut them because of that reason and to only cut her dew claws. I was informed by Natasha (salon manager working the evening of 10/14/18) to be back no later than 6:30pm because the store will be closed at 7:00pm and they will be leaving. I arrived back at the store at 6:40pm and watched through the window as my puppies four legs dangled in the air as she was hanging by her throat due to Patrick trying to handle handing out invoices to multiple customers at the counter, all while trying to trim her nails behind his back. Immediately he was told to stop working on my dog because it was evident that her well being and safety was not of importance. There is no excuse for such behavior and if he was not able to handle a stressed out puppy, he should have stopped and asked for help by another staff member as well as waited to address the customers in line until he was finished providing service to the animal he was working with. When my puppy was in the car, we noticed blood all over the back seat. When we got home, our entry way was also covered in blood. We looked at her paw and it was covered in blood and that was when we realized that he cut one of her nails all the way off. Immediately, we drove to the nearest vet to our house which resulted in an expensive bill. The vein on that toe is completely exposed and the next day was still bleeding. I will NEVER recommend Pet Smart to anyone. This company needs to hire and train better employees and make safety a priority when it comes to handling animals. I returned to the store the following day and Natasha was extremely disrespectful and beyond rude. She needs counseling and training on how to talk to customers and how to deal with such situations. This company should be very ashamed to have such a manager handling their salon and grooming services. read more

We took our greyhound here for a beginner training class with Selina, she's awesome! Really cares about the dogs in the class and their progress. Our dog really wasn't listening well at the beginning of the class, and now we've learned so many tips to get him to listen and pay attention to us. Highly recommend her classes! read more
