Today I took him to Petsmart to get his nails done. Lilley did an awesome job and wasn't intimidated at all by Kona who once hooked up didn't know quite what to do. I left PetSmart feeling. I got my moneys worth. They did an awesome job very quick and the trim job was done in an excellent manner. To top it off I thought the price was reasonable. However the lack of kitten supplies is not good. You'd think they'd offer more for kittens. Decided to go to Amazon and order what I needed Note: do not give kittens catnip it literally makes them go nuts. From attacks to biting you. I think it's something you may start introducing to them as they reach age 3 and above. I felt like I was in some sci-fi movie! The night of the living kitties! I took my dog to be groomed and while I was waiting for my dog to finish up I saw an older woman who was also working with another dog and she seemed very aggressive with the animal. The dog looked very scared but calm but she was still very rough with them. I saw her name tag and it said "Birdie" I will never take my dog back to this place even though the man who groomed my dog seemed very sweet and did a good job I will not support a business who lets this type of behavior happen under their watch. I felt awful for this dog who was literally cowering and looked so frightened while being handled by her. It makes me wonder what else is happening with other animals being left in her care. read more

I've been coming to this Petsmart for quite a few years now. They're always fairly well stocked. Although sometimes they run out of fresh dog food ,only because I imagine of the suppliers. Everyone that works there is very helpful. They have a vet area which I can honestly say I've never used. They have a grooming area, which I do have my dogs nails cut there. It is a grooming. They're very nice and see the dog even if you have no appointment. If they have time. They have a lot of small animals for sale. they're very clean containers. This store have cats up for adoption and occasionally they have dog adoption events. They also provide training for dogs. It's a very good store. read more

He's got a long strip of hair down his back that they missed the top of his head has long and short pieces all over the place they did not even trim his nails and they were extremely rude when I picked him up. If I could give ZERO stars I would! We took our 55lbs corgi in for a grooming service today and were treated with such rudeness and disrespect I'm having a hard time calmly writing this review. After dropping our corgi off we were called 2 hours later and told that our dogs "weight" caused one of their employees to "throw their back out" and because of his weight and him being "difficult" that they wouldn't be able to groom him and we would need to come and pick him up immediately. When we arrived we were immediately disrespected by the salon "lead" Michelle when we brought up the comments about his weight and the employee "throwing his back out" when my partner said who are you to comment on his weight are you a vet? She replied with such attitude, "no but I have common sense!" After a very rude exchange with her we asked if we owed anything for the service and she rudely replied "no just get him out of here!" As we were leaving I yelled on the sales floor for all customer to hear, DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE FOR GROOMING THEY WILL TREAT YOU AND YOUR ANIMAL LIKE FCKING SHT!" As we walked out the manager came to not address the issue but make sure we left the store. I decided to go back in and attempted to talk to the store manager John about what happened and how the salon lead treated us an our dog. Instead of hearing our complaint he decided to scold ME for my outburst on the sales floor stating it "triggered his PTSD from his time in Iraq" when we decided to bring up the comments the salon lead made about us not having common sense he decided to kick us out of the store and got our information from the grooming salon and threatened to call the police on us. The first time we took our dog to this salon he got a furminatior treatment and wound up with HUNDREDS of scabs on his back from a poorly trained tech so we took a chance brining him back here and to our non surprise we were treated just like a dog. I cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism from the staff and if they cannot lift a 55lbs corgi and the manager cannot handle a heated exchange with customers because of "PTSD" then they probably shouldn't be working in this profession! Will never retire to this location and encourage everyone to NEVER bring your dog here for grooming! I took my dog here 2 months ago for a simple grooming appointment. I noticed they were rude when I dropped her off but I just thought that everyone has their days and shrugged it off. I just wish that I never took her here. My dog is a little french bulldog who I adore so much. She is sweet and has never bit anyone ever or hurt anyone in any way. Anyways. When I picked her up the groomer showed me his arm with scratches all over and said that she was scratching him while getting her nails cut. I am writing this two months later because immediately after the appointment she started honking coughing and I just thought it was because she's a flat nosed breed and that happens sometimes. It went away then came back and It has gradually gotten worse since then and I wish I did something about it sooner. I'm not sure if her trachea collapsed or if they held her around the neck to hard but she's weezing now and I just put it together after looking at my camera roll of her hiccuping and weezing in videos only after the appointment not before. I am taking her to a vet tomorrow to see how bad it is. Do not take your dog here. They are rude and i'm afraid they were rude to her too. She also has a weird bump on her paw I noticed after the appointment too. Had my dog groomed today my mom took him in he's not an aggressive dog but like all dogs they don't like there face touched or there paws touched they did his nails but not all of them nicked his belly when shaving him and didn't give him a bath first before cutting his hair which is stupid u don't go into a barbershop or hair salon and don't wash ur hair first they cut his hair so short it looks terrible I would never recommend taking ur dog to this groomer now his paws are full of hair and his face is still cover with hair and his body hair is a centimeter long and choppy looking all the way around I'm so pissed and they charge me 20 dollar's Lmao read more

I brought my Westie in for a haircut, bath and to have her nails trimmed. I originally booked online and was scheduled for Michelle, who I was later told was the manager. The website recommended to bring my dog in before the appointment to get her used to the place, but when I got there, was told that they would just walk her around when she came in for her appointment. Wasted trip. When I got my appointment reminder it said that I was scheduled with a different groomer, Brianna. Kind of odd, but ok. I brought my girl in for her "spa day" and told the groomer I wanted her to have the typical Westie cut. Round head, carrot tail, kind of long hair on the skirt. She took my girl with her in the back and said she would be done in about 3 or 4 hours. Got the call about 3 hours later so went straight there to pick her up. My poor girl looks awful. The haircut is uneven, the sanitary shave was so short that my dog has what looks like razor burn on her lady bits and bottom. Her head is not round like a Westie at all and her fur on her back is so short, you can see her skin underneath it. There is also a clearly visible line where the hair is supposed to taper into the skirt. My poor girl has a bowl cut. It also looks like they shaved the hair around her eyes and that's uneven too. This is her first and last time going to Petsmart to get groomed. I should have done better research before bringing her here. She looked better before and she hadn't been groomed in 6 months. read more

ALERT!!! HORRIBLE GROOMING LOCATION!!!!!!! I took my dog to this location for the first time. When I dropped him off the lady didn't seem welcoming or like she wanted to be there. She was not joyful or happy to see my dog. She didn't even care for him. When I picked him up she only said he doesn't like the blow dryer. She did not say anything happened or he was hurt. Also, she has TWO "pull" leashes (that close around their neck) on him. He was being chocked and I said can you stop he can't breath your cocking him. I brought him home and he was limping and then can't turn his neck to one side. I though he was sore from our walk and then grooming. Mind you I have done a walk and grooming before. Decided to take our sweet one year old Yellow lab to get groomed after the fourth because he rolled in some mud. Wanted to treat him to a spa day and get all cleaned up. Well it was his first visit and he was scared like most dogs are going to the groomers. We had an appointment with Shirley and immediately she was already kind of rude. We walked into the grooming station and she told us to go wait outside and she'll meet us out there. So we do and she asks her series of questions and starts to pull his paws and look at his nails and he obviously doesn't like that because he doesn't know her so he just tries to back up behind us. And then she corners him and pulls his lip up to see his teeth. Out in the open at petsmart this what she is trying to analyze. Then tells us she is going to cancel his appointment because she can't bring him inside because hes scared and keeps backing up. We offered to bring him inside and told her this was his first visit and he would be scared. But cmon, If they can't handle it or make our dog feel even more scared then they won't have our business. She told us she was canceling and that we should try again another day. We won't be returning we found a local groomer that will be more than happy to take care of our sweet boy! read more

The girl who answered the call however was rude, unprofessional, and curt. She was having a conversation with the groomer behind her extensively about when it would be convenient for my dogs to arrive...long before she asked me anything. Then she gave me the single option. I marked it down. Fast forward 3 weeks and they have no record of it and since I called and didn't do it online, without confirmation number they said there was nothing that they would do. I'd need to wait another 2 WEEKS. This level of customer service is UNACCEPTABLE at any time and COVID shouldn't be an excuse!!! read more

I adopted two kittens from SOL there yesterday. Had never been in the store before. I always shop at Petxx and now I remember why. The adoption area was horrible. It's like someone looked at a maintenance room and said "good enough." It's not. It's cramped, narrow and has one bench to sit on. She had to moved things out into the aisle before I could even get in there. When I got on that dirty floor to meet my kitties, I could barely stretch my legs out. That "room" is obviously an after thought. I can't imagine a family meeting a potential in there. SOL is a very special group doing amazing work and very passionate about saving one life at a time. They deserve a better space and so do we adoptees. read more

He was nervous his first visit, but quickly became more comfortable with them. Michelle always tells me how he did and gives me a report card at the end of his visit. She was rude and would no longer look at me when I said I was 18 and did not have a parent with me. Let me start by saying that when I first went in, the girl at the desk did not know anything about the services or pricing being offered-a bad sign. When I picked up my dog, the girl was grooming another dog and proceeded to shout through to another room where the dogs are held and throw items at the door to get the other girl's attention to bring out my dog because she did not want to put the dog she was currently grooming down off the table... I think she threw a brush or shoe or something-very professional-not. Now for the grooming quality, I have to say I could have done a better job; my dog was uneven, with chunks and tufts sticking out here and there, and they did not even clean out his eyes as they were still gunky with doggie eye goop! Then when I went to the Vet side of Petsmart to ask if they had a med that my dog is currently on another genius of a girl was like "no sorry I don't think so", not like "I'm not sure let me check" just like I have no idea what you're talking about and can't be bothered to do anything other than sit on my fat --- here. Obviously even though they are kind to your pet, the staff that work there are nothing more than $8/hr employees who have no actual training and might as well be working at Home Depot. Needless to say they did not inspire any confidence and I certainly would not reccomend the grooming or vet side of Petsmart at this location or probably any PetSmart after my experience. read more

I booked an online appointment for my dogs grooming. Get the confirmation email and calendar invite. Good to go right? WRONG!!!! PetSmart sends me an email 2 days before the scheduled date saying my appointments been cancelled!!! So I call and the associate in the salon renews the appointment she also says my dogs rabies certificate expired in April-- it's now October-- I tell her I turned that in on 4/14 the last time she was groomed. Oh yeah I see that now she says. We're all set she tells me. I arrive 2 days later on my scheduled visit and the associate that's on duty says I need your rabies certificate. Are you kidding me?!?!?! I turned it in on 4/14 and I've since had the same dog groomed here at this exact location twice since on 6/16 and 8/12!!! The certificate expires 4/2020!!! This place needs some help!!! read more

We bring our 2 boys here to be groomed and always have a pleasant experience. The employees are friendly and assuring that they will be well taken care of. At the end of the service, we receive a report card and it's always nice to read the comments they have to say. I would recommend this petsmart groomer to any of my friends or family. I went to Petsmart tonight to solve a dominance problem that I am having between my dog and my roommate's cat. The only reason for the 4 star was that I wandered around the store finding things on my own without any greeting for about 10 min. Once someone did decide I needed help though, I got everything that I needed. They helped explain to me that bad behaviors (marking in the house) is probably caused by a number of issues that we as pet owners need to address (lack of attention, lack of reprimanding, lack of separation of pets when no one is home, ect). Not only did I get all the products I needed for properly kenneling my pup, but I also got helpful tips on getting the cat to act more appropriate and I was shown different sprays that you can use throughout the home to keep both dogs and cats from being naughty. Also, a rather large dog started barking at my 7lb little one and the staff instantly swooped in to grab all the products from my hands so I could pick my pup up into safety (even though both dogs were on leashes). read more

Buyer beware! I have a diabetic dog so I have to buy her RX dog food, Hills WD. For 6 months I have been buying this food at Petsmart to discover today that it is cheaper to buy it from our Vet. Petsmart is $3.39 a can and it's $3.00 with my Vet. Went in Feb 2 to buy my daughter her first Bearded Dragon. Two weeks later I was at the Exotic Vet because the lizard is not using his limbs. Currently under quarantine waiting for results to see if he has a contagious virus. He is also being treated for pin worms. This young bearded dragon should never have been sold to us. Chances are he will never use his limbs because of a virus or from not getting the correct lighting and/or calcium in his early stages of life. Very disappointed and angry! They should not be in the reptile business if they can't sell healthy animals. At the very least employees should be trained properly to ensure they sell healthy pets. Beware! My old beagle hates getting his nails trimmed. Its always a traumatic experience and as such i bring him in when his dewclaw gets so long he gnaws on it. Today i brought him to this one after moving up to the area from San Tan. They lost a customer forever today. They wouldnt take him without seeing a rabies vaccination records in hand. He had a rabies shot this year after he was attacked by another dog! I have also take him to multiple other Petsmart groomers. I dont know whats wrong that they care more about some stupid piece of paper than believing me and caring for a dog that is old and fragile and needs his nails trimmed! Went to Gucci Pooch Pet grooming a block away and got his nails done quicker and cheaper and w more compassion than Petsmart. Will never shop there again. read more

This Pet Smart has good service, fair prices, and it's always fun to see the live animals like the fish, cats and dogs, etc..Unlike Il Forno Italian bistro down the road that most certainly do NOT have good service, have terrible prices, and probably adopt animals from Pet Smart to use in their overpriced dishes. The Grooming Salon here at PetSmart is fantastic. The groomers are very friendly and caring. Michelle is a miracle worker. I have taken two very matted rescue puppies to her. Her patience is interminable. She is very careful with ascertaining the feelings of the dogs. She pauses when they get stressed out and then continuous later. Just got turned away from the groomers for being 20 min. late. Erin in the grooming department called me while I was getting out of my car. I walked in and she told me she wouldn't have time for my dog. There was one other associate in the grooming shop and only 1 dog. She repeated that she wouldn't take my dog because they changed their policy on certain dogs. I understand I was late but it wasn't like she was doing anything else. She was scheduled to take care of my dog for over an hour and 20 minutes late and she acted like her whole day would be ruined. Then her manager, a young man that seemed very jittery, agreed with her decision to turn my business away.
