    After spa day!

    Tiffany groomed my dog and I was so pleased. Here in Florida visiting family I needed to squeeze in a grooming for my Shih-poo. Tiffany was fantastic!! She explained what she'd be doing, how long it should take and reassured me that he'd be well taken care of. I'd HIGHLY recommend Tiffany if you live in Largo or even visiting with your fur baby!

    As always, nick was very helpful.He was an excellent addition to the staff. part of the reason we go there. It's because we know we can count on him for any questions or suggestions.

    I have to say, this location is hit and miss. Sometimes I encounter polite, friendy and helpful staff. Then the next time, not so much. My primary residence is in another state. But I'm in Florida every 3 months, for several weeks, and often have my disabled Persian with me or even a foster kitten. While I typically bring all their supplies with me, sometimes I need something for them or even for my grandparents dogs. It's really frustrating how many times I've wandered and wandered the store, unable to get help. One of the most helpful people I've encountered there was actually a rep with Blue Buffalo. That's kind of sad. My biggest complaint and issue with this store is how out of date it is. Especially their feline adoption center. It looks absolutely pitiful, with the tiny, shabby and cramped looking cages. Working in animal welfare, with cats specifically, I can testify that this set up is not in the cats best interests and is sure to enduce high stress in an already stressful environment. There is absolutely no place for the cats to hide and soothe themselves and the tiny enclosures causes food, water and litter to all be on top of each other. There also appears to be next to no ventilation. It's truly a breeding grounds for Upper Respiratory Infections. I expect better from companies who advocate for animal care and health.

    Typical chain store....some overpriced and some moderately price low quality items. Independent pet stores are better, but much pricier too.

    Not impressed. Always out of my dogs food & couldn't find an employee that really knows anything about pets. Not worth the drive

She loved to tear up newspapers, tissues and all sorts of paper. She ate headphones and remotes. She listened when she wanted to and turned everything into a keep agame. She is still the happy loving pup she always was but now she has boundaries. She doesn't pull me on walks, she doesn't jump up like she used to and will stop when given a command. She has yet to grab a remote, we are still careful with them especially when we aren't in the room. The transformation it incredible! Carrie, Samantha and the whole Doghouse gang are highly recommended! Thank you for laying a good foundation for us to follow! We are happy and proud to be part of the Doghouse family! Update: Poppy has been home a while and she and we continue to learn and grow. People who meet her are amazed she is so young yet so well behaved! We can not thank all the gang at the Doghouse enough, especially Sam! She has been patient with us and continues to help as needed.

    We absolutely love our 5 month old Cavapoo, and we always knew the stigma behind little dogs…read morebarking, but we were not mentally prepared for just how much our little furbaby loved to talk (he gets that from his mama). Between the puppy teething bites, sled dog walks, terrorizing the mailman, and little dog ego, we knew we needed help. We called Sharon with BarkBusters, and she is an absolute game changer. At home training, No treats, No Tricks needed. Our furbaby is 6lbs of fierceness, and like his dad he wants to establish dominance in everything he does, including over our 2 cats and the entire household. In just one visit, Sharon taught us to think like a dog and how to lead the pack. Learning how to actually say NO in a language dogs understand has been groundbreaking for us. We've had dogs before, but we learned more in one session with Sharon than we did in a lifetime on our own. The future is so bright for our puppy Oliver, and we have Sharon and Barkbusters to thank for that!

We already had a well-behaved, but sensitive black lab mix. Sharon spent hours with us talking about canine psychology and working on attentiveness training. We worked with the dogs on the first visit, both at home, walking around the neighborhood, and at unfamiliar locations so we encountered another dog. The first day of training made an IMMEDIATE, huge difference; we were shocked and thrilled. The black lab was incorporated into the training too. She talked plainly with us and was realistic about interventions we would and would not be able to make for the dogs. She was awesome, we've seen lasting effects with our Staffie, and we plan on having our second session soon to follow up on our homework. Thanks Bark Busters!

We gave her $3,860 for a 28 day program. From the beginning she knew we were going to be in Florida visiting family for 7 days during the time he was in Cheyenne's care. We gave her a collar with an airtag (she even commented on how it was a good idea). She assured us everything would be fine. We received videos of training every couple of days. On Monday, March 16th 2024 I received a phone call from Cheyenne who was frantic and said that she had lost our dog Luca. She said she went to go get water and left him outside in her fenced yard for no more than five minutes. He was not wearing the collar with the airtag we provided. I asked why and she stated because he was in a crate and they don't have them wear collars in the crate due to safety concerns. I understand and agree with the safety aspect, but every dog expert I talked to said he should have had his collar on the moment he was out of the crate. After looking at the training videos she sent me again Luca was not wearing his collar in any of them. At this point, she said she was unsure of how he got out but would inform me of what was going on. She later stated that one of the latches of the gate was flipped up and that's how she thinks he got out. I asked if she had cameras and she stated she did not. She posted on local Facebook groups and so did I. I was still in Florida at this time and reached out to Illinois Lost Dogs who assisted me in putting together a flyer which I sent to Cheyenne. I also had some family out looking for him and sending flyers. Throughout this search it was very clear that Cheyenne was not sure of what to do. I was communicating with ILD and they were providing guidance which I then communicated to Cheyenne. I was basically running dispatch from Florida. I did not sleep for the next 8 days. I would message Cheyenne every morning and normally it took about an hour to get back which she stated she had to take care of other dogs at her facility and then would flyer and do what was needed. She did send several texts that she couldn't express how sorry she was and she would find Luca and "do right by us". I never wrote anything negative about her or her facility until now. I had my brother looking in the area (which he missed time from work in order to do so), I had a family friend volunteer her time with a scent tracking dog, and was constantly on socail media tracking sighting. We had a few sightings here and there. Cheyenne did find a drone operator whom she paid the first time. On Wednesday Cheyenne texted me that she was still willing to help, but that she had spent over 1k to search for him and couldn't financially do anymore. My family and I had spent over 2k at this point ourselves (plus the cost of the training), but I said I understood. Through talking with different organizations they said that it did not seem that Cheyenne was equipped to handle the situation and that I needed to take over the search. We cut our vacation short (not that we were able to enjoy it anyways) and spent $1,500 to get a last minute flight to go home. Once we arrived home Cheyenne let me know that she would help as she could, but would be deferring to me to lead the search. We came home early Thursday morning and were basically out all day every day until he was found Monday. When we arrived at the facility on Thursday, Cheyenne was out getting lunch and left Luca's stuff on a table outside of the door of the facility. Upon inspection, we found there was a hole at the back of the fence (picture below). I will be honest, I did not disclose this to her until later because I did not want it to affect us finding Luca. I bought flyers, 4 drone flights, multiple cameras, and supplies. Cheyenne did say she would help as she could, but something happened with the tire on her car.There were days during our search where I did not hear from her until I messaged her. Thankfully we were able to find Luca. Including the training, flight home, and various expenses we were out over 10k. When we first discussed repayment, she disclosed that her insurance lapsed because she didn't get a notice from her insurance company, in my opinion that's the responsibility of the business owner. She was able to somehow get it reinstated, but had no clue regarding her coverage or how it worked. She also was shocked when I said there was a hole in the fence. She still feels that he got out by lifting the latch but agreed that it was not suitable for a training facility and was in the process of replacing it. We ended up receiving a little over $4,800 for our expenses but was told her business was likely closing as a result. She has refused to do anymore. EDIT: Cheyenne is blatantly lying that we asked for 10k in pain and suffering so I have included an email where I actually said I was willing to take less than our expenses.
