Worst experience of my life. Walking in, there were handwritten signs everywhere with attitude. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There is no place to sit and junk everywhere. Looks like the family, including small children, may even live there. So cluttered. We explained my dog had surgery a few years ago on his back nail and since then doesn't like his feet touched, so nail trimming is a bit difficult. He's not aggressive at all, just very squirmy. She says no problem and takes him back. I can see the 4 workers but can't see the dog through all the clutter, but seconds later, I hear my dog screaming and crying. Next thing I know, the owner screams at us, says this is too much, throws his leash at us and says "he's trying to be too alpha, get him the hell out of here". We were appalled. He's the sweetest dog and has never shown any type of alpha, dominance, or aggression even when my parents' dogs bite his back legs all the time( little chihuahuas with little man syndrome haha). I couldn't believe they acted this way, so unprofessional and quite embarrassing. We left the establishment and went less than a mile down the road to Michelle's grooming. Explained what happened, and she kindly came out, clipped his nails, gave him treats, and loved on him for 10 mins. No problems, no hassle. We were out of there in no time, and everyone was happy. I do not recommend this place at all to anyone. They clearly have no patience and have no business being around pets and owning a business with that less than professional attitude. read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Very dissatisfied with this groomer. First they have large signs with instructions to the customers not to interact with the dogs; it's off putting. Told them our dog was a rescue and he nips of hurt him. They attempted to clean his anal gland and he nipped at them so they just gave up. The dog is 7 years old and has been groomed many times. This is the 1st groomer who doesn't know their job at all. They use fans on the dogs in the crates and they were shivering because they are too lazy to dry the dogs before crating. Step in their and unless you are super cheap you see how the location is unprofessional. Also, they are cash only and had no change for a $20. Just a train wreak. read more

I called to ask if they could fit my dog in for a nail clip. They were great on the phone. Got there..they took her right away. They were polite and friendly. They were gentle with my old dog. I take both my 2 year old cats here to get their mini razors (claws) trimmed. $5!!! each. Who else does that?!...and it takes them less than 5 min to do them both. They make it look so easy too especially when my girl is a wiggle butt and my boy does not like to be picked up. They are true cat whispers! So glad I found this place! read more

Have a 10 pound silver gray toy poodle with an unusual "lamb" cut. We discussed cut while the greeted my friendly boy. They got it just right, hard to do the first time. Finished on time at a reasonable price. Nice ladies & a happy pup now. I didn't notice they had a sign up that they take cash or check only, no plastic. Fortunately I had the cash. They injured my dogs eye and did not tell me. I noticed it when my dog yelped when they put her collar on. When I asked what happened to her eye, they said she just got stressed when they were trimming her nails and "it will go away". This injury was not from stress! I had to take my dog to the vet and she has exophthalmos and subconjunctival hemorrhage. The vet said it was definitely from a trauma. Taking the $150 vet bill in there tomorrow, so this review is to be continued.... read more

This is the worst place to bring your dog. They specifically did what I asked them not to do as far as grooming my dog. When I called to understand what went wrong, the OWNER explained herself and hung up on me without giving me a chance to respond. Any responsible groomer would call the owner before making their own decisions. I will never come back here nor will I recommend anyone to bring their animals here. read more

It's a small place , the dogs are in crates in the same room as where they are groomed. I like that cause your dog can see the groomers and they are watched. The staff is very friendly . read more

I ask to have Cheryl take care of them & she is so pleasant. If you are not satisfied there is a sign that states to make it known & the groomer will fix the problem. It makes me sad to read all these negative reviews on here and I feel awful others have had bad experiences but my encounter was a totally different experience..Don't always judge a book by it's cover.Yes it is located on the corner of a small strip mall..No it is not anything fancy but WHO really cares..This place gets the job done well!I L-O-V-E these ladies!!! OMG! I am a first timer at Largo Pet Grooming 2 and my baby will be back. These ladies are so kind I felt so comfortable leaving my pup in their hands. My Rico is a Chorkie and he is my baby but he isn't always kind. I was so nervous I was going to drop him off and get a call he bit because he doesn't like to be away from me. He did so well this will be the only place I will ever bring him. I wanted him shaved all the way down but they gave me there recommendations and then we went from there. I really appreciated the time they spent with me to stop what you are doing to make me feel comfortable leaving my dog was recognized and appreciated. They are honest and pricing is fair. Also, they even work late I do not know many groomers who take a 6:00 p.m. appointment. They even gave my baby a mo hawk and made it red! I can't wait till his hair grows back so we can visit again. Johnny was recommended by a trainer working with my rescue dog. He's afraid of everything and will either try to hide, bark or snap when scared. His previous groomer recommended a sedative for grooming, he came home with some cuts and very anxious afterwards. I'm so happy I found Johnny! He was wonderful and patient with my dog and had no issues working with him. My dog was well behaved while being groomed. We're back home and he's resting comfortably with no ill affects from the grooming and he looks adorable! When I return to Largo in the fall, I will be going back to Largo Pet Grooming. I walked in the door today to see and hear the groomer shouting loudly at the little dog she was grooming, "F---ing dog!" When I learned she would be the groomer for my dog, I left. Didn't want to take a chance on someone who loses her temper with a small being who doesn't have the voice to say what happened. Maybe Johnnie is good, but I hope he is overseeing the shop's operation when he is not there. read more

The staff at largo pet grooming is always so sweet to my dog. He has high anxiety and they are always so loving of him like he is their own. They really get to know you and your pet and what your preferences are and they remember those things.
