BUT, the perfect dog groomer is mine! That's right! In fact, she's better than my groomer back home (shhhhh!). This lovely young woman is efficient, economical and exuberant about lovin' on my Lucy. My highest accolades are for ShamPoodles by Ashley. And my Lucy isn't even a Poodle but a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix, or as we call her, a Jackwowa! Perhaps she is confusing me with another customer but it's too late now. So I took my little girl, a golden doodle, to be groomed about 3 to 4 weeks ago. Alicia wasn't having a very good day because she was in an auto accident the day before. She did her best and I was very pleased but she did state that she had a problem with my dog with the dryer that she used. Her groomer up north never had a problem with her so I called her to see if she ever had that problem. She told me that my girl did not like the dryer so she used what is called a happy hoodie over her ears so the dryer is not as loud. Alicia said that she would have one next time I brought her back and seemed as though she was more than happy to have her come back. We had an appointment today and I sent Alicia some pictures of how I would like her to be cut down since I was going to have her done a little shorter now that it's getting warmer out. She was very nasty, very unprofessional, and actually told me that we should just cancel the appointment and I should get another groomer! Sorry to say she's lost a good customer. I wasn't sending pictures because I was criticizing her work I was sending them so she would get a better idea as to how short I wanted her haircut which, most groomers like to have something to go by. Can't understand why she has such a nasty attitude but I'm definitely glad that my little girl won't be handled by someone like that again.

The last few times I have gone the bill has been creeping up. Today, I dropped my dog at 10am and got a notification at 12:04 that she was ready. When I went to pay I was charged $108 for the groom and an additional $30 for a dematting fee. I have never been charged that and Ruth and Jeff would have contacted me first. It seems now they just add in hidden costs. The thing of it is my dog was shaved and was only there for two hours. I asked to speak to the owner and Luis came over. He told me he was not the owner but he had to brush her underneath for 30 min. Keep in mind she was in only there two hours. I told him I was unhappy and she looked shaved and a $30 fee was crazy. I told him if I paid that we would not be back. Luis was rude and could have cared less. Well I paid the bill but you lost a loyal customer. I have referred multiple people here as well. Best of luck we will not be back. I've attached a photo just to show how short her haircut was.

Molly was 17.5 when she passed, and the days leading up to her passing the Staff did everything they could to see if they could buy us a little more time but Molly was tired and ready to earn her wings.
