What can I say about this place. They are absolutely AMAZING!!!! I've been going through some personal issues and they were there for me and my doggie. Due to my job I have to work 12 hours a day and can't leave him home. They are so understanding and accommodating where I can drop him off early before opening and pick him up right after closing. The staff is wonderful, I see the live feed and they play with all the dogs hug them, give them pets and attention. They give my pup breaks when he needs them. They know what the dogs need and so intuitive. The place is clean and never smells like animals. On the live feed you see the employees clean up right away when the dog pees or poops. The staff is so friendly and look like they're happy working there. They truly care about the dogs and owners well being. I wouldn't trade them for the world. Amazing job. Oh and by the way they have a splash pad for the doggies who love water!! They have big dog and small dog play areas. Each have an inside and an outside and the dogs can come and go in and out when they want. The prices are super reasonable and great value packages. I can't recommend them enough. Anyone working super early or super late and need a daycare or boarding this is the place. A lot of my coworkers bring their pets here. read more

Advertise extra services but do not provide them. Offer half day and full day enrichment but provided 1 hour out if the pen. Purchased pens with a door in between and dogs NEVER had the door open. Tried to work it out with Ali the manager. She was rude and said services were rendered. Asked why they advertise half day and full day enrichment but only provided an hour per day. In mid May when we got our dog back from boarding at Bay Paw Pet Resort she was severely injured. We knew right away something wasn't right, her breathing was staggering, her neck was inflamed with A LOT of air underneath. I took some video in the parking lot and headed straight for our vet. Our vet immediately told us to go to Blue Pearl because she needed oxygen ASAP. We did. At Blue Pearl we found out she's at 87% oxygen and a torn trachea. Two days of oxygen therapy and observation she came out on the other side. She has slowly recovered but the boarding facility is claiming it didn't happen in their care. They failed to get her help; which states they would if she needed it in the contract you sign. I truly believe based on what the vets had told us if we didn't pick her up in the morning and rush her to the vet immediately she would not be with us anymore. I have all the vet documentation, video, and even a pre-boarding vet exam in the documentation that we gave her to them in perfect health. Originally it seemed they were willing to work with me. The owner said video was supposed to be provided the weekend of her stay. Ownership came up with excuse after excuse to NOT give me the video they had. We did everything possible for Bay Paws Pet Resort to make this right on their own terms, over a month to correct the damages done and take responsibility but they refuse, even deny any fault that this happened on their property. I've went to them personally first, then legally, and only after demand letters and working directly with their insurance, was able to settle the correct amount to pay for thousands in vet bills. I wasn't asking for anything more; just the vet bills. On top of everything, I wasn't impressed with her stay. Her blankets and bed came back to us covered in feces and urine. Front Desk said they didn't have time to clean them before our arrival. This means to me she was laying in the middle of the floor all weekend for a reason; on top of being injured. I struggle to post this; I don't leave bad reviews but the community needs to know my experience. Make your own opinion and own decisions while doing business with them. I regret taking my dog here after my worst fears came to life. Save yourself the heartache and torment. read more

I have been bringing my dog Neko there for over 3 years, often it was 5 - 6 days a week. Each time he has gone, I have been able to watch him on camera, I have gotten to know the staff and I feel comfortable leaving him there. There was only one problem I have ever had - my Neko's shot expired, and they were unable to take him that day till his shots were up to date. I wish I had advanced notice, however, I'm glad that they did not accept him that day until he received the necessary vaccine. I would expect nothing less and it meant to me that they had everyone's best interest in mind. read more

I usually do not write reviews but I really feel the need to highlight the quality of service Bay Paws and their team has provided for my husband and I. Before we dropped off our puppy for a long weekend, we visited bay paws to see the dog boarding. Off the bat, their staff greeted us very friendly and gave us a thorough tour of the facility. The facility was very well maintained and very clean which was why we immediately made reservations without even looking at other facilities. When we dropped our puppy off, the process was super easy and the best part is that we are given access to cameras that shows our puppy while we were away without extra charges! It made us feel easy because we could keep an eye on our puppy and how the staff took care off him while we were away. We also signed our puppy up for puppy school and it was so worthy! Our puppy enjoyed it very much and learnt a lot. we love the fact that he could interact with other puppies around his age. And their groomers also did an excellent job in bathing, cleaning our puppies ears and trimming his nails. There's honestly so much good things about this place and no complains at all! We would definitely drop our baby off there again if we were planning to go out of town again. The prices are reasonable and the service is impeccable. Thank you Bay Paw's staff! read more

Took my dog to Bay Paws in Trinity on 2 different occasions. No problem the first time but the second time they said they had some issues with my dog and that he was not allowed out to play with the other dogs because of his attitude. I expressed the idea that he had never had a bad attitude with any dog before this experience at Bay Paws. When I challenged their scenario I suddenly had 4 "managers" in my face telling me I was completely wrong about my dog and that he was no longer welcome in their facility due to his attitude and MY attitude about the whole incident. Save yourself some time and money and don't bother with this group. If you challenge them on anything they totally gang up on you like a schoolyard fight and yell at you about your "bad dog". read more

BayPaws has also given our doggie a couple of temperament tests for Doggie Day Care. This is a really great place for boarding! They have a very nice facility that is clean and well-maintained and the staff are great. My lab has major anxiety issues and they have gone to great lengths to make him feel comfortable and take good care of him, I definitely recommend Bay Paws, it is very convenient from TPA just right across the 275 bridge and they offer extended hours pick up options which is helpful with travel as well. I have brought my dogs here a few times for boarding and it is definitely one of the nicest places in the area and worth the money. I know my dogs are taken care of during their stay. I really like the different suites they offer for boarding. I get the luxury suite for both of my dogs to stay together. It is a better option for my dog who can be cage reactive since it's in a more secluded area. They have plenty of space to wonder around and get a nice cozy bed. Another thing I like about Bay Paws is the A/C is kept at a nice level and it isn't hot as compared to some other kennels we had toured. They also offer nice treats for your pups, for Thanksgiving they had an option to add pumpkin pie! They also are able to take care of cats and small animals, which is a plus! My favorite thing is being able to watch my dogs 24 hours! It really puts me at ease since I worry about my dogs while I'm away. The staff is also very nice and trustworthy with my dogs. read more

I had an unexpected notification that I needed to be in office next week. I have a new shelter dog that isn't ready to be crated for a 10 hour day. Contacted Bay Paws and set up daycare. Now the owner says she won't accept the shelters vaccination record and wants the data on a "veterinarian letterhead". my vet refuses to do that saying it's fraud. The shelter record has his rabies and microchip number on it to confirm the identity. Super disappointed. I was planning on using them for training and boarding. Bay Paws has gone downhill. Their employees are doing drugs while on the job and in front of the animals. When approached they said they were going to put in a drug policy; however, this did not happen. Once we picked up the dogs and got half of their food back. I have no idea if they were fed. We were also told they could not go outside with the others, due to behavior issues; however, this was after we had paid for it many times. Someone who worked there told us, they indeed where not going outside. That is when we were told they could not be with other dogs. We started paying for private play time. I have no idea if they got it. We stuck with them because we had been a client when it was Fuzzy Buddies and they used to be good. It's a circus now. Double check your food, toys and bill when picking up your babies. After a long search we found another place. We tested them. They have been over the top amazing. Professional check in and out. The dogs were tested with the other dogs - zero issues. They said they are awesome with the other dogs. They have cameras inside and outside and also have a walk out area for the dogs so if they need to go to the bathroom, they can, without waiting!!! read more

I absolutely love Bay Paws!! I brought my dog in for a grooming appointment and they exceeded all of my expectations. The groomer met with me to go over my needs and they offered teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, and to file his nails. They also did a temperament test to allow him to go into doggy daycare so he would be with dogs with similar dispositions. We have rescues and I have never boarded any dogs at a facility before...but I have been so pleased with our daycare experience that we wanted to give it a try. They had adjoining rooms in the executive suites which was a game changer! They had their own space but could freely come back and forth between the rooms to see each other. i worked here for 3 years and the mangers treat their employees like crap and make the place unbearable to work. wendy, kaila, kaitlyn, and christina are the worst managers i've ever been employed under and i'm glad i quit when i did. all they care about is money considering all the incidents going on right now with the dog passing at the other bay paws location... the silence from the company/owner is very telling. it's beyond embarrassing to have been employed here for so long. this place was never as bad as it is, the current managers are what is making this place falling apart. there have been so many incidents in the time that i've worked here and by that i mean incidents where a dog has died, the only thing these people do about it is send out a get well soon card to the parents of the pets that this has happened to. it's absolutely disgusting the way management handles situations i wouldn't even call it handling more like push under the rug and hope the issue goes away. if you know what's best for you do not bring your pets here. this facility is ran terribly i suggest taking them to paws n rec if you want a trustworthy facility to leave your pets at. these people do not care about your pets only getting another dollar in their pockets. read more
