I made an appointment for a bath & brush + luxury package for my dog today. I actually booked it with the valentine's package but they said they ran out (it's February 10th). I've been taking Luna to petsmart for grooming for 6 years. There's been some less than ideal experiences (they forget to wash her face or trim her nails). Today was new. Her appointment was at 10:30. Now typically, it takes them anywhere from 1 minimum to 2 hours max. Today, they held my dog hostage for 5 HOURS. Since I know a simple bath & nail trim doesn't take this long, I know they had her locked in one of their metal cages for at least 3 hours but likely more. I genuinely hate every single one of y'all and I hope random hardship finds you. Do not bring your dog here for grooming unless you want them to be miserable and locked in a dog jail cell for hours with no food or water. 5 hours for a bath is insane. read more

I took my Chorkie Viktor to be groomed and Lisa did an amazing job! Viktor is a puppy and he will need regular grooming, so he needs to get with the grooming program. Lisa was very patient with him and it only took her a couple of hours to bathe him and do a puppy cut. I took him to a different groomer a few weeks ago and she kept him 4 hours and only bathed him, no cut, so I'm extremely happy with Lisa and what she accomplished. read more

Please do not ever take your pet to this location for any reason. The vet already proved to us that she doesn't care about the well being of your animals and now the groomers have shown that they don't care whatsoever about your pets either. Took our golden doodle to be groomed and the "groomer" claims she had to stop half way through. This is a dog who is well behaved and has been groomed multiple times with no issues with anyone else who has groomed him. Please learn how to take some pride in your work and furthermore if you have no idea what your doing like this groomer ask the real professionals for some help instead of returning our dog to us like this. Like many other people you rely on Yelp and other similar apps to let you know if a business is open, especially during Covid-19. So I did exactly that & it said the store was open until 9 PM. Upon arriving at the store at 7:08 the doors did not open & then I see a sign that says they close at 7 PM. There is no reason for this, it can't take that long to change something like this to help customers. Due to this frustration I do not know if I will ever shop at PetSmart again. read more

I wouldn't even give one star, but I need to give this review. I called to make an appointment for 4:00 p.m. on March 23, 2024. A blonde girl with short hair from the Pet Hotel on Bryant Irvin Road in Ft. Worth, Texas kept repeating that your dog will be alone and not playing with any other dogs because doggie daycare was over. She said this three times, then mentioned that if you stay overnight, there is nobody to watch the dogs. I was reading a paper to sign for changes. She kept saying only one bathroom break for your dog. Horrible! The person I made the appointment with had said a spring special for $15.00, and they would send a picture of the dog to the email if we asked for it. They would also give us a coupon book. When I got there, the lady said no, and nothing else, and your dog will be by itself!!!!! We said no and left the hotel from hell. I have a 10 month old energetic puppy. The trainer Deborah has been so helpful , educating both myself and my pet. I recommend the training classes. I also took my pet to doggie day camp in the pets hotel and he loved it! The hotel folks were very welcoming and helped Sunny get over his first day nerves. Will not be returning. Witnessed not one but three of this stores cashiers refuse to check an unmasked man with two small children. When the gentleman asked what the problem was, two of the cashiers literally said they didn't earn enough to take care of someone who's too lazy to wear a mask. I was shocked. Had I not just completed my transaction I would have walked out of the store, but I did make a mental note to not return. I attempted to make a grooming appointment for my dog and they don't have their stuff together because they tried to tell me my dog shots aren't updated when they're the ones who gave the last shots only to call back and be told oh yes they are updated. Then when I ask if I can make an appointment I'm told I have to hang up a 3rd time to call back just to make a grooming appointment. I suppose you only need an elementary education to work here. Hey, all you cat lovers out there. I stopped at the PetSmart on Hulen in Fort Worth. This is my second visit and will be my last at this location. The last time I was overcharged on treats that were on sale and when I pointed this out I was given a "deer in the headlight look" Oh do you want a refund???? I left. This time I wanted to see what kind of cat enclosure they might have after searching their website. I walked the whole store and finally went to check out and told the guy I was looking for a cat enclosure. I kid you not this was his answer "We don't make cages for cats only dogs and they're on the far wall". I walked back over to that wall and any "dog" cage was too heavy for me to pull out to look at. Upon walking up front again this man was standing there and asked if I found what I wanted. I told him no and you're too busy to help so I'll go elsewhere. My last visit to PetSmart on Hulen. So what I saw online apparently was an error? Wonder what Corporate thinks of this response. I do believe he was there the other time asking if I wanted a refund. I'll be sticking with another pet retailer in the future like Chewy. Their customer service has always been a "10". I just wanted to see a cage set-up so I could judge if I felt it would be safe for my recent rescuse adoption. I just spent hours at a cat rescue and this store was on the way home from that location so I made a quick stop. This guy needs to follow through with some better customer service. read more

I first thought my dogs neck got accidentally shaved but then noticed hair loss and redness all over my poor baby's body. Im thinking it may have been some sort of allergic reaction to their holiday package. The salon first acted very much like what happened to her was not at all their fault- but later did offer to pay for vet bills and gave her ointment. If your dog has a coat similar to mine, please look into their products before taking your baby there. read more

I have an horrible experience at this Petsmart. My dog has been coming to Petsmart for over 4 years without a problem. Now I am being told he is aggressive and I was charged 42 dollars. When I have asked for proof that my dog caused an altercation they refuse to show me the video. I was also told that since the other dog comes to this location more often then mine that they know it was my dog. The question is why would you take video if you are not going to show it obj guest? I would like to state when I dropped my dog off he was cleaned day before an groomed 4 days before that. I picked up my dog he smelled so bad caked on urine smell an just dirty (how I know it was dirt I will explain in a min) his eye where horrible dirt all around them then this creamy white stuff all in his eyes. I have never seen my dog like this ! Freaking out I called them back to back to back never answered. Them got ahold on the manger which had me on hold forever !! I just hung up googled what todo. Got home washed him right away.. As I'm washing him the dirt is coming off because you can see it in the shower. Red lil bumps all in his skin never where there when I washed him before. I asked them to watch his neck because he had a bump. It was 10x worse then I had ever seen it. I would not go to this one ever again. It shows me that they don't pay attention to the dogs they just let them out to play an out them right back. I called an check numerous times time one one said anything bout his neck or eyes. This store is in a great location; easy access from Bryant Irvin and the highway. It has grooming available as well as the vet services. The aisles are nicely spaced out and in my experience the merchandise is well maintained and tidy. My Labrador eats only a very specific Blue Buffalo brand that sometimes is out of stock at other locations. Each time I've stopped at this location the food is there, available in the biggest bag. That's always such a relief because you dog owners know, you can't exactly just make your pup something else for dinner! The employees there are friendly, we're always greeted pleasantly by whoever is closest when we walk in. I like that the cashiers don't try to up sell you on items you may not need when you get to the register. I appreciate people being straightforward and polite. read more

For me, NO GOOD for big dogs! Couldn't do a complete job because my "dog would not cooperate." This has never been said of my dog in her four years of life by any vet, border, or groomer! What I saw there and what I was told there makes me certain that some of the groomers there don't know how to treat dogs. We've noticed that a particular employee seemed to not like our pets and was even snippy with us the last couple of times we used their day camp service. Boarded my dogs dogs here, NEVER AGAIN! They reeked of urine and we're sick when they came home. I don't think they were ever able to go to the bathroom in their "specified areas" that the employees told me about because they are potty trained and don't pee in their kennels. This Petsmart always has the litter I use on sale. Sweet! Plus they have a great selection of worms for my leopard geckos. They always seem understaffed. One person running the registers and one person on the floor. So when I need said worms, it takes forever to find someone and get them to go to the back to get worms for me.
