    Well of course I am!
    Donna T.

I am way overdue for writing this review. I am writing it for the training service my daughters dog received or did not receive. (We paid around $130 for training classes) My daughter adopted a dog from a shelter. We do not know if he was around other dogs or children. And unfortunately we know he has a few issues from his first owner. He is part golden retriever and lab. He does not like people on bikes, motorcycles, strollers pretty much anything with wheels. He starts barking, jumping and running back and forth if possible. He does the same with some people and small dogs. My daughter signed up for 4 week training classes so he could be around other dogs and other people. She talked to someone before paying to make sure that's what they were planning on doing with him. The first day of class the lady instructor told my daughter (after only 5 minutes) that he would have to have private lessons for an additional charge. That he could not attend the class today. She did not try to do anything with him. The lady said she would call my daughter the next day to discuss a plan for her dog. So my daughter left the class. 3 weeks pass and no call. My daughter called a few times but the lady was off or was not able to come to the phone. Huge run around. Finally the lady calls my daughter and said it would cost more money for private lessons and they could start that Friday. The total now was $219 for a four week course. We were fine with the cost if we see results. Well, we saw NO RESULTS. Why you ask. Well my daughters dog was NEVER around other dogs, the instructor did nothing with the dog except have my daughter walk him around Petsmart and feed him treats. We could have saved $219 and walked him there for FREE!! He did not learn anything. All he did was eat 25-50 treats per session and come home. I would not recommend this training to anyone. Save your time & money. I would give ZERO stars or negative stars if it was possible.

Med RX Feline Diet. One cashier to a 20 plus in line.

One cashier for 20 people ahead of me and 30 behind. That is just ridiculous. Now I have a Siamese and she have "issues". Not knocking her because I too, have "issues". She is on multiple Compound Medications that can only in another state and one on the Pharmacy website. What came I for was the Alligator Food she needs too eat due to allergies. It with nearly $3.50 a can and she would me to open a fresh can daily. I also needed the dry food they carry, as well. My complaint is dogs have a side and cats have a side, but I couldn't find her food and stood at Banfield Counter for 15 minutes until somebody came out. I had to ask where it was. All prescription diets are for cats or dogs are located in the dog section..Didn't make sense to me...I have i needed and stood in that dang line for 30 minutes. Anything for my baby girl. This picture was when everybody was shopping...

We had to take him into Cypress Fairhaven Animal Hospital. They are not only my personal Vet Clinic but also the Clinic for the Rescue I'm with; Big Love Rescue out of Cypress TX. I couldn't be more impressed with our Little Man, Mr Brad Pittie! He took everything in stride, kissed everyone taking care of him & didn't skip a beat when we got home. A testament to Big Love Rescue which is a Non-Profit wanting the best for all dogs taken by them. Plus surprised me with a trainer! As As you all know I can't do much. I needed help getting him from car into the Vets & back to the car. Well check out this Video! Brad Pittie is a fast learner. His desire to please is enormous. It's a Pittie trait but his heart is one of the biggest I've encountered. The Trainer is Dawn Currie she owns K-9 Family Dog Training here in Cypress, Texas. Bernard & Annie De Lisi you 2 can contest to how hard he would pull on the leash. Look what he does in 15 minutes with Dawn. Just love Brad Pittie & my greatest desire is to find him a child to love him and call him his own

I couldn't believe what she accomplished with my dog on the first day, let alone after 4 days of training. Dexter, a rescue dog, who was taken from his momma at 5 weeks (currently 4 months old), needed to learn bite inhibition, and he had anxiety issues. He is a different dog; more calm, relaxed and so pleasant! He went from biting and barking and jumping (mostly what puppies do anyway, but the biting was getting more aggressive and a huge concern for me) to doing none of those. In 4 days, the majority of basic obedience has been taught. I can put him in the down position, drop a treat, say leave it, and he won't touch it until I say! I have always wanted a well-behaved dog, and because of her work, I have that!! And it will only continue, as Dexter will get to work with her once a week! I highly recommend Dawn - 2 HUGE thumbs up. You will not be disappointed.

We initially thought we'd foster her for adoption due to her dog aggression issues. After working with Travis, we decided togive Rosie a forever home ourselves. We brought Travis in to privately train her so she didn't have to deal with the stress of a group setting and because we wanted a tailored training program. With Lone Star Dog Training, we received an excellent job. Travis educated us about how training is important and what results he felt we could see. Over the course of 4 months, Rosie went from being aggressive toward our other dogs to feeling safe and comfortable with them. She's even adopted our 12 year old border terrier as her sister. Rosie has progressed from a frightened stray who did not wag her tail or understand how to take affection, to bounding and leaping with joy when she sees her people. She now seeks out our affections and looks forward to spending time with us. If not for Lone Star Dog Training, we would not have decided to keep her. It showed us what a wonderful, fun and loving dog Rosie is. Thank you, Travis , for your dedication and patience with us.

My dogs are accustomed to being around, just our family and don't always be friend new people readily. They immediately took to the owner, Brian. Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. I will definitely use Hicks Farm again and I highly recommend them!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.
