There is nothing cuter than a puppy, but let's be real, they require a lot of patience and work! That's why we leaned on Peace Love Dogs and enrolled Humphrey in their Prep for Life training program. I am thrilled with what Humphrey learned the past few months at prep school! The dogs must develop great recall skills and other lifesaving skills, such as drop it and leave it, in order for me to feel comfortable taking them on all of the adventures at the lake. Humphrey's ability to walk around high distractions with ease amazes me, and his recall is pretty spot on, too! When my puppy chooses me over rushing to the barking doodle at the fence - that's amore! My sincere appreciation goes out to the PLD team. As a result of the excellent intake team, the friendly front desk staff, and the exceptional trainers, we are very happy with our experience. There is no doubt that Humphrey has a solid "good boy" foundation upon which we can build. Last but not least, I would like to thank Greg and Stewart for their time and talent spent with Humphrey. They are the best, and seeing how much they care for Humphrey gave me great comfort. In addition, they were very patient in teaching me how to work with Humphrey at home. Now comes the hard part - putting what I learned into practice so that I can help Humphrey maintain his rock star status. Although we miss seeing this team regularly, we are happy to be part of the PLD family and look forward to returning for other programs in the near future!

I love that they provide report cards for some of the trainings so you as owner see photos from that week and get a progress update

Puppy group class, private training sessions, and prep school are all things that I have tried at PLD. Let's get into it. I have a medium labradoodle puppy (Barley). Personality- loving, smart, stubborn, full of energy Pros: Instructors are great, genuinely dog friendly, and experienced. You can tell they care about the dogs and as a pet owner that was most important to me. Multiple options when it comes to training formats. Private training helped me work through some of the behavioral issues. Group classes were great because socialization off leash + learning in a structured environment. Prep school has felt like the GOLDEN TICKET. It's only a month but even after two weeks he has shown so much improvement. Most importantly- my dog loves it there. He doesn't even look back at me when he jumps out of the car! Price point is fair in comparison with other training places in the city. Cons: I don't have any at this time.

I love Peace Love Dogs so much and so does my puppy, Bennett! She just finished up 6 weeks of Dog Prep School, and every morning when we pulled into the parking lot for school, she would start wagging her tail and eagerly get out of the car to go in. It is evident that everyone at PLD loves what they do--from customer service to grooming to training! It's such a joy for me to bring her there. Her trainer, Charles, is super awesome and answers all my questions. He's given me great recommendations on what we should practice at home and creative ideas to keep this energetic pup entertained and stimulated both mentally and physically. If I had to do it all over, I'd choose PLD again in a heartbeat, no hesitations! Can't wait for Bennett to continue on at Peace Love Dogs with more training and fun in the future!

My baby loves it here. The first time I brought her in I basically had to drag her in but the second time she was excited to come back to see trainer Greg ! She's learned alot and also gave me the tools to keep teaching her from home. Will definitely book another stay!

As a new owner of Corgi puppy we were in need of intense training. Honestly, I was overwhelmed and felt that i needed help to raise my new Corgi the best i could. I was referred to Peace Love Dogs by a former employee of the business and i was not disappointed. They were so loving to Leo and so patient with him. I also like how organized they are in terms of class scheduling, invoicing and keeping you informed. We also had a private lesson with Kay which was amazing. She is the best. She even could get our stubborn Leo to listen. I particularly like how the training is broken down into manageable steps so you don't feel overwhelmed and that you can practice at home. I also enjoyed how the the puppies were able to play as Leo doesn't get much exposure to other dogs. I highly recommend that you go to Peace Love Dogs for training. Christine Mikulich

Our happy and exhausted pup after a day at puppy preschool.

So far I have only been here once to take my pup to puppy preschool. I am enrolled in the Courteous Canine group training and will update my review after my dog completes it! I dropped my dog off early for preschool. The employee at the front desk walked me back to the puppy room and gave me a tour on the way. I was impressed with the facilities. They are very nice and clean. The puppy room is not too large, but has many fun, learning toys. My puppy stayed in a crate in the room until preschool began. When I came back to pick my puppy up after the day was over, he was having a great time playing with the other puppies. Stephanie is so good with the puppies. She needed their attention and had them sit for her while they waited for a training treat. Stephanie reviewed my puppy's progress report and explained what they did that day. It's so nice to have a doggie daycare with so much hands-on. Having someone teaching and reinforcing good manners/behavior throughout the day is great. Only 8 puppies are allowed in the preschool per day so each puppy gets lots of attention. It's quite a different experience from regular doggie daycares. The price per day is relatively high, but it's worth taking your new puppy to this preschool at least a few times. The staff are very friendly and know all of the dogs by name. This place is great! Check it out!

Peace Love and Dogs was first recommended to us by our awesome dog trainer, Michael Baugh of Houston, TX. He recommended the place to get our first Rhodesian Ridgeback into puppy socialization. I'm so happy and grateful for both Stephanies at PLD and all the staff there. Atticus and his little brother, Hank (our second RR) are proud graduates of Puppy Preschool and Puppy 101. The result? Two well-socialized and well-behaved pups (15 and 5 months), who are predictable and friendly around all kinds of dogs and people. Puppy socialization is so important. It's really been key for my family to learn from other puppy owners and skilled trainers on how to "read" certain behaviors. My husband and I were new to having puppies, and we took our "homework" very seriously. We will be forever grateful to Michael and PLD for their guidance with our pups. They really ARE the "Puppy Gurus".

I figured no big deal she can play until she gets groomed. I called at 1:30 and they had not even started her and said they would then, I explained again I had a flight to catch so needed to pick her up by 3:00. I called again at 2:30 and they were bathing her and that was all they had time to do. Well that was an expensive bath she didn't need. When I picked her up she was totally tramatized. I questioned the lady and she indicated they had put her in a kennel. She hates kennels. I had explained early to Leslie that Lily doesn't do kennels and she always let her play with the other dogs. Well these girls decided since I didn't pay extra for day care she had to wait the entire day in a kennel to get a bath we didn't want, excuse me you were the one ones that REQUIRED she get there early for you convenience not mine. I don't think the dog would walk back in there again she was so upset. We will never go back to Happy Snoutz again!

She was prescribed Senvelgo (velagliflozin oral solution) and treated for about four months. During this time, Gidget experienced vomiting, lethargy, and stopped using her litter box, which was very concerning. I called Holly to ask if my cat should come in for a follow up because I not been told anything. She casually said "yeah you can bring her in if you want to" So from there I knew something was off so I went to another Vet. After seeking care from other veterinarians and running additional testing--including fructosamine tests--it was determined that Gidget does not have diabetes and likely never did. As a result, I spent over $2,000 on unnecessary medication, vet visits, and prescription diet. I hope the clinic carefully reviews its diagnostic process in the future, as proper confirmation is critical before starting treatment with medications like Senvelgo. This medication could have severely harmed my cat.
