Effective training with very caring trainers. Sadie always placed our sheepadoodle's best interests in the forefront, demonstrated best techniques and coached us to be consistent. She followed up each lesson with email reminders of our 'homework'. Amazed at how big a difference 4 lessons combined with at home reinforcement can make. We have the kind of dog we always wanted. Super attentive, listens well ( for a puppy) and is great on loose leash. Highly recommend! Thank you.

Justin is very helpful and kind. He is and will be instrumental in helping my elderly parent with his 10 month old puppy! Thank you Justin for your help and time spent helping our family!

This was by far the best decision! I came into this training with my new rescue who had a lack of confidence & basic obedience. My dog was stubborn & challenging at times, but Alex my trainer, was beyond patient & encouraging. He walked through each step & gave me the tools to succeed. I have a completely different dog now in the best way & I'm so happy with our progress. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Alex!! Gus will miss you!

Great experience with Off Leash K9! Our Hawthorne is very stubborn and Desiree really understood him and how to train him to listen. We're super happy with the results and highly recommend!

First off, upon reading these reviews before purchasing I was skeptical. It literally sounded to good to be true. I own a malinois mix of a dog. She's energetic, sweet, and slightly aggressive. I failed at training her properly which gave me much frustration, I knew she was a good dog I just didn't know how to train her "aggression" (lack of confidence). From the initial appointment, I could already tell this was going to work wonders and it truly did. Best thing I could have ever gotten my dog. She's so much happier and confident in her abilities. She used to bark and react to everything, which I thought was due to aggression but really was her lack of confidence and a little bit of resource guarding which were both worked on throughout all sessions. I did the 8 week aggression training and it really works. You have to work at home with your dog daily to make sure they retain what they've been taught but if you do that you will have a totally new dog at the end! On command my dog will come, sit, and stay until I release her. It's pretty awesome and makes my life so much less stressful knowing I can trust her to be at places or around others and not react. Everyone at Off-Leash was amazing, met a few of the trainers and you could really tell their deep love and understanding for animals. Not only that but they were so knowledgeable and always had tips or suggestions for my dog. My favorite was that they allowed my dog to still be her and have her boundaries (she doesn't like random people petting her) without pushing too hard. Stella's trainer, Desiree, was great! Not only was she personable but she made my dog feel super comfortable and Stella was always super excited to see her. Overall such a great trainer. I loved my experience with Off-Leash, they really know what they're doing out here! I could not recommend them enough!

Excellent training. Our golden retriever puppies went there completely untrained and came back vastly improved. I was quite impressed.

Can an otherwise friendly, sweet dog be cured of attacking leased dogs?

I am not sure what you mean by "leased dogs". If you're referring to dog on dog aggression we do have a behavior modification class. While there is no cure for dog aggression we can teach them how to ignore other dogs, make better choices, and… Read more

The store is categorized into dog, cat, birds, and small animals. There are giant fancy circular signs hanging down from the ceiling that tell you which part you're in! So look up if you're lost! Fish are all along the left side wall and there's such a huge variety of fish here compared to other petsmarts! In the back, there's an extra fancy pet hotel with a hotel-like check in desk. The doggie day care and training camp is right next to it. There are windows there for you to watch as your little pal learns the works! Near the front, is the grooming center, also with windows for you to make sure your furry friend isn't getting the wrong makeover. There's even a giant scale by the grooming center for your four legged friend to see how fat he may have gotten under your care! Next to the grooming center is the check in for the pet hospital. There seems to be two DVM's that work there. Good to know! And last but not least, the adoption center is located on the other side near the fish. There are windows there as well to see which pet needs a home. The store is very well staffed, I saw at least two employees in every pet section, if not one in almost every aisle. And all the shelves are very well stocked with supplies and brands. If there's ever a store for you to count on to be in stock with something, it's this one. The registers have free little dog treats there too, so don't forget to grab one on your way out!

Tried to explain that I just wanted to at least take a picture of there description but the man kept interrupting me saying "you must be behind the glass " and every time kept stepping closer. Mind you I am a minor and the man had no right to keep getting closer to me. would not even let me take a picture of the cats adoption description. He also kept interrupting me when I was trying to explain I was going to leave I just needed to take a photo of the description first. But no he decided that he must pretend to have power he does not have. Instead of being calm and saying that I couldn't take the picture and must leave he just kept repeating the same statement over and over like that helps while aggressively stepping closer . DO NOT bring your kids here as they will not treat them kindly. now I know why so many cats can't get adopted. Because some social worker don't know how to respect others and be mature adults.

My dogs are accustomed to being around, just our family and don't always be friend new people readily. They immediately took to the owner, Brian. Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

After several training inquiries with multiple companies, I immediately heard back from Karma, and a call with the owner was set up. He asked me all about Juice and explained the options he thought would be best. After deciding on "board and train" he said he thought he had the perfect person in mind and they would reach out soon. A couple days later I received correspondence from Sammye Darling, a trainer for Karma, who wanted to set up a call to talk about Juice. During our call she was very confident that she would be able to help with teaching him basic obedience and jumping. We settled on a 10 day timeframe with the expectation that it would be imperative to continue the training ourselves afterwards. (She would've preferred 14 days because that last few days is really when the training sinks in but I assured her we would stay on it) Scheduling was easy and convenient while we went out of town on vacation. Sammye was warm, gentle, and friendly upon dropping Juice off with her and I trusted her immediately. She stayed in constant communication with us, sending pictures, and updates on his progress. He took some time, he's stubborn, but eventually she saw the switch and said he was doing great! I missed him so much but knew he was in good hands with Sammye. Fast forward 10 days later and the day came to pick him up and I couldn't wait to see him. I'll spare you all the details of baby talk, kisses, hugs, etc. but it was a joyous reunion that had us in awe of the things he had learned. We spent about an hour there learning the commands, how to reward them, and practicing before heading home. She worked wonders and we were so excited to go home and continue the work. Before leaving we scheduled our follow up in person training session for a couple weeks out so Sammye could come see him in his own environment and see if we actually kept up with the training which we did! He is doing great! No, he's not perfect and we're still working on certain things but he's a different dog in many aspects. He has a "place" for when we're eating and now does it without asking and gets "off" the bed when it's time (he's too big to sleep with us) so he has his own. Those are two giant wins for us and we can't thank Sammye enough! He learned so much more and we continue to work with him everyday. Karma was professional and quick to respond which is always something I appreciate. Sammye, our trainer, was a delight who was professional, caring, thoughtful, hard-working, and made Juice feel right at home (in her own home) while teaching him some manners. I can't recommend her enough! Juice definitely missed her and was so excited to see her when she came over which further solidified how amazing she was. Call Karma and ask for Sammye as your trainer. You won't regret it!
