We have a Jack-Russell Terrier puppy, tons of energy that needed to be honed in. Brought him to MayDay for the 12 day session and miracles happened. Dog now walks on a leash without pulling, sits when I tell him to and when I say "place" he runs to his bed. It's great! Nick and his team were super professional and easy to deal with. Highly recommend A++

My dog mom life will never be the same... We have 5 dogs, 4 of them being rescues. Each one has their own quirks, but we found ourself searching for a professional trainer after one of our dogs had a reactive incident. Nick was recommended by our vet and I can absolutely see why. We did the 6 week program with Nick training Bleu once a week, and us practicing with him for the duration. I quickly learned as the dog owner, I was getting trained just as much as Bleu. He was extremely helpful with correcting Bleu's behavior and mine as the handler. It's been a life changing experience to receive the tools to help Bleu's behavior (as it's effected how we work with all of our dogs). Nick is all about working hard, staying consistent, and his years of training is evident. Their whole team is amazing, every dog owner should go train with the Mayday Team.

I found Nick through my many hours of dog training research. I had just rescued a 3 yr old pit bull to go along with my year old lab puppy. My pit bull, Augustus, had no social skills, did not follow any sort of commands, was overly playful with my daughters, sometimes would bite if they did not respond to his liking, and barked constantly. We could not take him for a walk because we were in a full blown sprint. He was running us. We never knew what his next move was going to be. He was completely unpredictable to the point that sometimes we feared his reaction. I took him to Nick for 2 weeks and I cannot believe the results! He is a completely different dog. He is very calm and listens to directions. He heels when we walk him, sits on command, the incessant barking has stopped, and he stays in his crate on command even with the door open. He has not had one aggressive outburst since he has been home. We have completely fallen in love with him and his new manners. He lets us hug and kiss him which is a miracle in itself. He trusts us and now we trust him. I loved the results so much, my lab puppy has also spent two weeks with Nick. He is a miracle worker. I highly recommend Nick. You will not be disappointed with his service. He is truly a very talented trainer and I am extremely grateful for what he has done for our family.

Sit Stay, and Obey dog trainers are freaking Jedi masters…read more Sheila, the lovely owner, apprenticed under Dr. Lore Haug--an ACVB (American College of Veterinary Behaviorists) diplomat. If your little shi tzu mauled your kid, don't go to Cesar Milan. Get thee to an ACVB diplomat, a vet that is an animal behaviorist. Speaking from experience on this! Going to Dr. Haug was INSANELY expensive--b/c she is the top dog--heehee. It was very informative, but I was at a loss in knowing how to apply this knowledge to my home life w/o taking a second mortgage. I wish I had started w/ Sit Stay, and Obey! Sheila directly applies the theory and science AT MY HOME! My stupid dog can act like Lassie at an expensive, highly structured dog training facility. But my stupid dog won't act like that when he's with stupid me. Haha, I get that the majority of the solution lies w/ training me. Sheila came over to our house. She listened to the issues we had, helped us prioritize what needed to be worked on first, watched us, had us watch her, then had us try what we learned right there in our living room. She helped us get on a plan--realistic plan based on what we could actually achieve. And we had clear next steps and check-ins. I appreciate theory and information, but I am not smart enough to connect the dots into applying the knowledge at my house. I literally need someone to show me how to do this in my house, with my dog, and my family. We have since rehomed our little shi tzu at a god-send home w/ no kids. We now have an 8 month, almost 80 lb puppy that has benefited from working w/ Sheila since its first month on this earth. Because of Sheila our three-year old toddler is now empowered to help train and safely play with the monster (still always under our supervision of course). Sheila is guiding all of us to have the BEST relationships w/ the puppy and the puppy w/ us. It's quite beautiful after the scary start for my baby... And w/o paying the INSANE amounts of money to train my dog at somewhere other than our house. Thank you Sheila.... You've helped my baby's fear of dogs and empowered all of us to be whole again...

After several training inquiries with multiple companies, I immediately heard back from Karma, and a call with the owner was set up. He asked me all about Juice and explained the options he thought would be best. After deciding on "board and train" he said he thought he had the perfect person in mind and they would reach out soon. A couple days later I received correspondence from Sammye Darling, a trainer for Karma, who wanted to set up a call to talk about Juice. During our call she was very confident that she would be able to help with teaching him basic obedience and jumping. We settled on a 10 day timeframe with the expectation that it would be imperative to continue the training ourselves afterwards. (She would've preferred 14 days because that last few days is really when the training sinks in but I assured her we would stay on it) Scheduling was easy and convenient while we went out of town on vacation. Sammye was warm, gentle, and friendly upon dropping Juice off with her and I trusted her immediately. She stayed in constant communication with us, sending pictures, and updates on his progress. He took some time, he's stubborn, but eventually she saw the switch and said he was doing great! I missed him so much but knew he was in good hands with Sammye. Fast forward 10 days later and the day came to pick him up and I couldn't wait to see him. I'll spare you all the details of baby talk, kisses, hugs, etc. but it was a joyous reunion that had us in awe of the things he had learned. We spent about an hour there learning the commands, how to reward them, and practicing before heading home. She worked wonders and we were so excited to go home and continue the work. Before leaving we scheduled our follow up in person training session for a couple weeks out so Sammye could come see him in his own environment and see if we actually kept up with the training which we did! He is doing great! No, he's not perfect and we're still working on certain things but he's a different dog in many aspects. He has a "place" for when we're eating and now does it without asking and gets "off" the bed when it's time (he's too big to sleep with us) so he has his own. Those are two giant wins for us and we can't thank Sammye enough! He learned so much more and we continue to work with him everyday. Karma was professional and quick to respond which is always something I appreciate. Sammye, our trainer, was a delight who was professional, caring, thoughtful, hard-working, and made Juice feel right at home (in her own home) while teaching him some manners. I can't recommend her enough! Juice definitely missed her and was so excited to see her when she came over which further solidified how amazing she was. Call Karma and ask for Sammye as your trainer. You won't regret it!

He is a retired k9 police officer from Chicago and does REAL WORLD training. No tricks or treats. We first knew of Sidney when we saw him hold classes right outside of the dog park and we thought it would be the perfect training for Ellie. She would get easily distracted even by a leaf or a butterfly and take off. Also, she needed some obedience training. Fast forward, we have been training with Sidney for almost a year and we keep coming back. He knows how to read your dog to bring out the best in each of them. We went in wanting to learn obedience, and we keep wanting to learn more to see what else she is capable of doing. We truly enjoy the time we spend with Ellie in training classes each week and incorporating these skills in our routines at home. Ellie is a very well trained dog and we can actually walk her off leash with confidence that she will not wander off. We have also competed and placed in AKC rally competitions in her first weekend. If you're willing to put in the work with your dog and want to meet other hard working dog owners, come check out Total Control K9 College. We practice at Bill Archer Dog Park every Saturday morning around 9-11 AM and Wednesdays at Preppy Pet parking lot on Highway 6 and Rippling Waters at 7PM - rain or shine. Also, check out his Facebook live videos on the Total Control K9 College page to watch him work his magic on dogs who come in with behavioral issues or with high energy and within minutes he calms them down.
