If Yelp would allow it, I would leave 0 Stars. By far the worst customer service I have experienced to date. I walked to the register after picking up an aquarium off the shelf, only to be told it had no price tag and they couldn't figure out a price. I was told to wait a couple minutes by the manager Jessica. 15 minutes later, after Jessica helped 6 other customers in line she tells me to wait longer with a very snobby, pretentious attitude. I'm standing here trying to give Petsmart money and simply do not understand why Jessica couldn't provide a resolution in a timely manner. Lose the attitude, if you don't like your job at Petsmart, quit! It's that simple. read more

I provided proof of rabies vaccine provided by Banfield Pet Hospital, a clinic associated with Petsmart, on the day my dog was scheduled to be groomed. My dog was vaccinated 10 days before the appointment. The grooming staff refused to groom my dog because she did not have a "rabies certificate." Since this was on a Sunday I was unable to get the "rabies certificate" from Banfield. This was a waste of my time, and PetSmart has lost my business. read more

Eleven years ago I trained my dog through Kim Daraban, CGC Evaluator at this PetSmart store. Kaylee was exceptionally loved and enjoyed by many because of the solid and timeless training that we received. We're now back again for more of the same great old school rock solid training. One thing that you will notice quickly is how rapidly and easily Kim gains authority and control over your puppy allowing her to quickly instill commands and action in your puppy. She is firm but extremely loving causing total engagement with your pet. After going through tons of reviews for the Riverside area and talking to so many of the "new and enlightened" trainers today, like us... you'll have an instant deep appreciation for Kim Daraban as she transforms you and your sweet pup. Start enjoying a lifetime of love and admiration between you and your companion now... give her a buzz at the Petsmart on McKinley in Corona. Truly, no one else will do! read more

I will not even walk in here! I had a St. Bernard puppy. She was a wonderful puppy. I have taken every animal I have ever had to this store for every product and need including the in store pet hospital Banfield, training and specialty foods. My puppy Sophia drowned accidentally in our pool after getting under the fencing while we were at dinner. She was 3 months old. I was devastated. I always had the puppy policy on my dogs. I kept them all healthy and took them in for all their regular services. Sophia had the insurance policy. Since she passed away, we took her in to be cremated. They took care of it. They proceeded to tell me the day after she died they would be continuing to bill me for insurance even though she was dead! Outrageous! I still had another dog we had insurance on and had them handle the postmortem care of Sophia. The callous and horrific behavior displayed by the corporation of both Petsmart and Banfiled was disgusting. I cancelled the polices and never have walked back in their stores. They sent me to a collection agency who calls me weekly reminding me of that horrific night that I found my baby floating in the pool. I use a local pet store for all of our needs. They are less expensive and far more compassionate. We go to Norco Vets for all services. I got another St. Bernard who was Sophia's sister. Petsmart is a corporation who does not care at all about what happened to my pet. They cared about my credit card. I had spent 12k in their store and Banfield over the 7 years I did business with them. They sent me to collections for $190.00. Stupid business practice. read more

While I have used this store for years, and have always apprciated the clean store, stocked shelves, variety and friendly staff; tonight's service was fantastic! I was looking for specialized food and as soon as I turned around a rep (Henry) was there. He had a great attitude, answered all of my questions with the detail I wanted, and recommended products that were appropriate for my situation. I drive to this store from Riverside and tonight was a great example of why I go out of my way. read more

Wow have they gone down hill! I used to take all three of my dogs here, loved the groomer. She left and now the place is falling apart! I made an appointment thinking it would be ok. When I arrived, they said they moved my appointment back two hours! I'm not leaving my dogs caged up for six hours because they weren't smart enough to call. So sad! When I asked for a manager, some young kid comes out saying he's the manager however, his shirt, with his name, and title - "team leader" clearly printed on it. What am I, stupid? I can't see the title on your shirt??? Needless to say, I'm done and I don't recommend anyone taking their animals there. read more

Today I was very disappointed in the service that the grooming service gave us. First of all we brought our small dog in for her appointment 14 min before her time and the staff were very annoyed and ask us to wait till our appointment time claiming there was no kennels available. We were just as annoyed and said no. They told us they would make a one time exception and take the dog 14 min early. Gee thanks! Don't worry there won't be a second time. So if that wasn't bad enough we got a phone call about 1:30 saying our dog was ready and to come in whenever. We got a second call from the groomer Kim at 3pm reminding us that our dog was here and that they won't walk her to use the bathroom so please come get her. R u serious!! So I had to leave work early to get my dog. I picked her up and allowed her to pee outside. Then I had to to take my dog back to work with me because the groomers we not willing to take care of my dog. To say the least I was disappointed in the poor service provided by Petsmart. We will not return. We will be returning to Ambers pet salon where we have never had a problem and they r cheaper. read more

Don't get your dog groomed here. I took my Bichon in and because he had a few mats we had to go short this visit, however the person that groomed got to close in a couple areas and actually cut my dogs skin. I called 3 times to speak to a manager and my. All was never returned. I gave up and just know I won't be going back. read more

I like this Petsmart a lot. I usually only go there for cat litter, as canned cat food is cheaper at Target, but I usually walk out with a couple toys and some catnip as well. The store is clean, doesn't smell too "pet-ish" and the employees are pretty friendly. It seems like they offer dog training several night a week, which is good for dog people I guess. I have never used their vet or groomer because I think the prices are outrageous, but I've heard good things. read more

Went to Petsmart today after having really bad experiences at Petco that resulted in the death of a whole aquarium full of fish.. The lady at this Petsmart was really helpful, completely honest about the health of their fish, and made me feel more confident in how I'm raising fish from now on. I got bad advice from other people and she helped me correct it and gave me alternatives like how I can simply use hot water instead of bleaching out the Petco virus from my tank. I wish I had gone to Petsmart a couple of months ago instead of Petco because maybe then my two generations of fish would still be alive and I wouldn't feel like a tool for trusting Petco. Thank you fish assistant! Update: One of the fish had a fungal infection so I put it in a separate bowl but it died after 2 days even with treatment. Update 2: Suspiciously after the two week period all of the fish acquired a spotted fungus identical to the first one that died.. Their fins are deteriorating and the white spots continue to spread. The anti-fungal medication I have for them seems to do nothing. I'm just absolutely done with having fish if these pet stores only sell sick fish and don't provide the proper products to help them. Updagte 3: All fish are dead, maybe it was Isch or another type of fungus.. I had raised 2 generations of fish prior to my bad experiences without any problems until I visited Petco and Petsmart.. We are going through a drought anyways so I'm done with fish. read more

This is a great Petsmart location. they have all of the different items that any dog owner needs to function. I have four dogs three of them take different types of food. I am able to get out of there with something for all of them. Make sure you have the physical key chain for your pet perks card. It allows you to utilize the coupons immediately. and consider making a dollar donation at the very least during your check out. read more

Very disappointed in the veterinarian services. For over a year they have been running tests on our dog and every test came back "normal". We've spent thousands of dollars here and he is no better. In fact he's worse. Today we took him for the first time to Norco animal hospital and they told us so much information that should have been seen by the PetSmart vet visually. We will NEVER bring Payne back to your veterinarians. read more

Our boxer, Athena, goes here once a month and always comes out looking and smelling wonderful. We always get her bathed and Fur-minator done to prevent shedding, as well as, her nails ground as needed. She always gets a great "report card" and seems to like it there. She was just there today and it was also nice to get the 25% off that they're offering in August for grooming M-Th after 5 PM, which I was unaware of until I got there. Thanks, Derrick! read more

I've been taking Misty to this PetSmart for grooming for years... and occasionally they miss a thing or two but I have to say this is the worst her ears have ever looked. They're completely uneven and there are pieces noticeably longer than other sections on the same ear. I specifically asked for her ears to be even with her chin but the groomer (Frank) either wasn't listening or didn't care. Unfortunately, I will not book her with Frank again. I also won't book on a Sunday ever again as they were way overbooked and were obviously not caring about the quality of service provided. Very disappointed. I am going to look for a new groomer in the area. read more

I recently moved to the Corona area and was nervous about changing groomers. The minute I walked into PetSmart Grooming, I was met with all smiles and felt the warmth from every groomer working that day. The groomer that was scheduled for my dog Max, called in sick that day. They were very accommodating and asked if it was okay if Frank groomed Max instead? I said, well, I'm not sure if Max will be comfortable with a male groomer? Since Max was a rescue dog, he is timid around most men. Anyway, Frank was AMAZING!! First of all, Frank said if Max doesn't feel comfortable, they will make sure a female grooms Max. Next, Frank sat on the floor with Max and pet him and talked baby talk to him until Max was wagging his tail. Frank did a wonderful job! We found our new groomer! read more

One of those things where based on the location it's the only option. If you have a pet and need various health items usually this location doesn't have them including deworming solutions, a store associate claimed this was because of drug related issues (not sure how going into the details of that makes people want to shop there further). I was fortunately able to locate what I needed for my cat at the Eastvale location despite being assured they would no longer carry it at any of their stores. Weird drug stories and being lied to about store inventory (or just not carrying essential items at all) are not a good foundation for a store reputation. The store also phases out foods at random that you can find at other locations, if it's a performance thing I don't know but it's problematic when they chop something that you've been purchasing for about a year. They only tend to do this on smaller brands though. The front staff are generally nice, just beware if there's a line, even if there are people in the new line being checked out and you walk into that one, there are some who will ask you remove your items so they can have people from the longer line who chose not to move over to be checked out ahead of you instead. I understand not letting someone just jump to the front, but when you have people who are content where they are they've made their choice at that point. Unfortunately they wait until you've unloaded your cart to inform you of that decision on top of all else. When possible I just go elsewhere for my needs, the shortcomings of some of the staff are bad enough that it makes me just want to skip out even if it's not representative of the bunch. read more

I have right a review because I have had such a poor experience at this PetSmart. I have used PetSmart for years in several locations but his PetSmart in Corona is by far the worst. I moved to Corona in April and moved my three dogs to this PetSmart since it was the closest to my new home. I have had a bad experience every single time I've gone. The first time I went I got there on time but had to wait 30 min because they only let the person who is grooming your dog check you in and my person was let from lunch so I just had to wait. Not one was willing to check her in for me so that I could leave her. The second time I went I went again I had to wait 15 min because again the person grooming my dog was not there and when I asked about having to wait I was told we are short staffed so you just have to wait...not customer friendly at all...then when I picked her up no one was in the front and I rang the bell, I stood there for 20 min and I called out hello...I rang the bell again...no one ever came to see why I was waiting or to help me. There is a sign that says you can't go in the back so I did not want to go back but finally I decided to just go knock on the door and let them know I was there to pick up my dog, the minute I did that, a PetSmart employee comes and chastises me for going in the back. I explain I have been waiting and ringing the bell and yelling out but never apologizes for me having to wait, he tells me I am not supposed be behind the counter. Why didn't he come and help me while I was waiting for 20 min if he didn't want me behind to go knock on the door. Finally I make another appointment, do t ask me why I thought it would get better, but I make it for first thing in the morning so that I can drop my dog off early and go to work. I get there early, I wait, no one ever comes. I ask for help In the store and they look up my appointment and at least she apologized because the person who was supposed to groom my dog never even showed. At that point I knew it was just this store and not a isolated event. I moved my dogs to the Eastvale store and oh my God, the service is like night and day. If the person who is grooming my dog is busy, another person checks me in, they are friendly and courteous. I love it! I wanted to go the Corona because it was closer but I would rather drive further and give a store who values its customers my money. read more

Brought my corgi in to get groomed here and a week and a half later I noticed some redness and a very dry area. I work in animal medicine so immediately I shaved it to get a better look. I decided to monitor for a couple days and it did not improve. Took him to my job a few days later and my vets believe it could be ringworm. So I called petsmart and they made me an appointment with banfield and didn't want to approve anything until their pet safety team said it was ok. Keep in mind we're still in the middle of covid and a heat wave so I haven't taken my dog anywhere outside of our home in the last month. Whatever he got, it was from grooming. I used to work at this banfield and I know they normally approve services if something happened at their grooming. It took a week to hear back from them and they made me pay for the treatment out of pocket and the only reason I'm getting refunded whatever I spent is because I used to work there. Never taking my dog there again. I absolutely love taking him to Israel because he always does such a great job with him but I refuse to go back due to the lack of care I received from management. read more

So we have a 20 gallon tank and my daughter loves ryburin goldfish. A employee helped us. He was fat and had black hair. And we asked him for the fish my daughter liked. He immediately said "no". Yes I understand that you cannot just throw any fish you want in a 20 gallon tank. I have done many research on this fish and you can't fit it in a 20 gallon tank he said? I am very upset with this service. Now... the next day (today September 7 2020) I have came back to get that fish we all love. And this time we got a employee named Bryan. He was very nice and asked us a lot about are fish. We ended up getting glow fish and the ryburin goldfish. We now have a Asian feel to our home! read more

We took your two dog to get trim and bathed and claws trimmed. One got done the right way. Your other dog had fleas, so all they trim her half way and let sit in a cage still wet. I ask why they didn't dry her they dry her because of the fleas. All they did was trim her half and trim her claws. The time before they lost her license and tags and say we lost when we walk on the door.We have gone there for years and won't be going back there ever again. read more

I've been going to petsmart grooming for several years. Kim is my dogs groomer and she is awesome. I can't say enough about her compassion and care for my dog. The other groomers have also worked with my dog during covid because the hours and times were cut. They all have had the same compassion and care for my dog. Like most pet parents it's hard to leave my baby with someone else but I know she is well cared for at this salon. I highly recommend Kim and all of the groomers. read more

Horrible customer service ! Grooming salon manager ( Morgan ) canceled my dog's appointment at the same time he had the appointment because they had issues with AC since yesterday at 3:30 pm. WELL, i tried to stay a tried and true customer, but the grooming saloon has gotten unbearable. My beautiful pup has went here for 5 years, no problem. All of a sudden, just because she pooped in the bath, they cant groom her! She had her morning constitutional as usual and then we took her for her appointment. The lady calls me and says she pooped and they may not be able to complete service?????? Hello, dogs poop...how can you NOT now groom her ? They refused to cut her hair after that, and said she was too nervous for the cut and they have a policy, if the dog is too nervous( for the dogs well being) they cancel service!!!! They still charged be 45 dollars for a bath! Never again. ! And by the way ....i can drop this groomers name, but i will choose not too, out of respect for low paid workers in a pandemic !!! read more

I went on Wednesday (08/19/2015) I dropped off two dogs, a German Shepherd (Mocha) and a Pomeranian (Cookie) , both girls... Upon drop off I told them that Mocha does not like to leave her mommy (which is me) and that the pom is not mines, she's my sisters... they checked Mocha in first, which was fine. they needed the rabies information for cookie and I said it was with Banfield and I offered to go get it, they offered to get it which was nice. They came back saying the rabies had expired, which was incorrect. Being that I stated Cookie was not my dog, the appropriate action would have been to obtain the dog's owner's information to obtain the rabies info from Banfield. So now I had to go over to Banfield like I first said I would and get the rabies info which was obviously under my sisters information. The groomer lacked common sense because even when putting Cookie in the computer she did ask what phone number to put since she wasn't mines, yet didn't think to use that info at Banfield for whatever dumb reason... Anyways, upon picking them up, all the groomers did was complain. The groomer said that Mocha's prong collar created a long cut over the back of her neck. I don't like assumptions. Shepherd have a lot of fur and I obviously wouldn't have seen it without her being shaves or without Mocha messing with that area (and she hadn't been). My dog only wears the prong collar on walks and car rides so it was obviously her regular collar that may have been rubbing against her neck, so don't assume. They also mentioned that Cookie would not let anyone touch her butt and they inquired if that was normal for her. Again stating that Cookie is not my dog I would not know what her issues are. They also made me go to the back room at the kennels to get Cookie, which isn't very professional. If you are scared to handle a 5 pound dog, you need a new job, period. I won't be coming back here, I'll be taking my furry friends to petsmart in eastvale from now on. Additionally they claimed they trimmed my dogs nails, but they did not!!! read more

My review has to come down to two distinct portions: the management, and the petcare employees. Let's get the "bad" over with and move on from there-- Managers: The majority of the managers that I have encountered at this location don't seem to meet my expectations for this company. The main manager is a man who has only two moods, as far as I can tell: trying waaay too hard to talk to customers or flat out ignoring them--taken so far as to intentionally avert his eye contact from my own when I needed help at the cricket station :( There is a young female manager who also has good and bad days that mirror the male manager's, but less extreme. I believe that I've met a third manager, a younger man with a moustache--and I do have to say that he is always a pleasure to interact with and get assistance from :) Petcare Employees: Every one of the pet care associates I've interacted with and gotten assistance from has been so helpful and fun to talk with! I have always been able to find knowledgeable and friendly assistance from each of them. Overall, my review is rather neutral based on the poor manager service and the stellar petcare service. read more

We were warned about the corona petsmart grooming. We wanted to give them a try since they are only down the street from where I live. Thought they would prove me wrong but unfortunately they did not. Our dog was wet and still smelled the same way as when we brought her in. love this store. My dog gets such good treatment . He is always taken good care of. I highly recommend this store

It's PetSmart. It's expensive. However, there are speciality items that are usually in stock and easy 'grab n go' for this store. For example, if you need Milkbones, go to Walmart-it's the same parking lot for goodness sakes. If you need an aquarium go to PetSmart. The service at this particular store is usually pretty good. The store is clean and they have a groomer and Banfield. read more

I brought my new 11 year old Pomeranian dog to be groomed here. For the past year he had been at a home where he was neglected and his coat was extremely matted. Thankfully she was able to work out his matted hair and keep it at a decent length! I was very happy with their grooming service, and will be returning in the future. read more
